I don’t know if it’s a device thing or not but my iPhone doesn’t connect. Couldn’t play any games.

Got really excited about this but scanning the QR code keeps sending me to download NetflixGameController . App says follow directions on game to connect, which is scan the QR code.

Not sure how there are any good reviews for an app that doesn't connect. Useless.

I’m trying to get it fixed but it won’t work I’m running it together but I’m also have it working on iPhone 11 at 17.4 os pls tell me how to fix!!!!

My lg smart tv is up to date and so is my Netflix. I followed all the requirements and it doesn’t even work. Why?!

Every time I scan the QR from Netflix it brings me to NetflixGameController Store. Even when I open NetflixGameController it just says choose game on your tv but nothing happens.

Was going to try this out for the first time and it will not connect to my iPhone.

I cannot connect to games. I scan and open NetflixGameController which tells me to follow the instructions on the screen which tells me to scan which opens NetflixGameController which tells me to follow the instructions on the screen ♾️. 🤬

Love the idea of this and will try again in future. The lag was so bad that the games are unplayable. I tried a few of the Netflix games - games I’ve played on mobile and on my laptop. Just can’t play them.

Someone should fix this because the idea sounded great but it just didn’t follow through.

TV game QR code take you to NetflixGameController download screen but can’t actually connect your phone or use it. Sad :(

I have the controller downloaded. All software up to date. I scan the we code on any game, it sends me to App Store to download controller app. I click open. Controller app opens. I go back to camera and scan QR code again, same thing happens. An endless loop, no controller, no connection, no alternatives. Fail for now.

Scanning the QR code for a Netflix game only opens NetflixGameController Store, even though I already have the Netflix Controller app installed. I have tried multiple games, but have had no luck being able to play any of them. Each time I go to a game and scan the QR code provided on screen, it just takes me to NetflixGameController Store. When I click “open” to open NetflixGameController from NetflixGameController Store it opens the Netflix Controller app, but that app tells me to choose a game and follow the instructions to begin connecting. But when I choose a game, it tells me to scan the QR code… which takes me back to NetflixGameController Store. 🤦‍♀️

The directions on screen shows a QR code which downloads NetflixGameController . NetflixGameController tells you to follow directions on screen. I want to play!

I know it’s still in testing, but I have NetflixGameController and it says it’s compatible, but never works.

Same problems as others. Just an endless loop of QR-app store

it doesn’t even let ur phone connect to become the controller. it just says follow instructions on screen to connect and all it does is bring you to NetflixGameController store to download NetflixGameController 🤷‍♀️

When I was play for the first time it was good and the game were fun but when I try to play again it say I couldn’t connect to it so I just thought it was just that game so I try the other and it say the same thing so I went to the help center website to if it was the bug or not but it never show it I was very disappointed in NetflixGameController it hope it can get fix so me and my sister can play these games

The concept is great, but there’s lots of defects. The games were extremely laggy and there were times where it froze completely. You also can’t change the size of the thumb sticks so if you have big thumbs you can easily press the wrong buttons.

The story seems interesting and I’d love to play it but no matter how many times I restart it, the game won’t go past the second command in the story.

Download NetflixGameController a few times and still can’t play. This is a waste.

Please add Backbone controller support to NetflixGameController. It will significantly enhance its ability to be used.

I love the idea of this and I’ve seen other people play games on Netflix before and I do the same thing but it will not let me connect my phone so it’s an amazing idea. It’s a great concept. I know it’s still beta, but I just can’t connect.

I’m trying to play it but every time instead of sending me from the camera to the game it sends me to the camera to NetflixGameController Store and then the game which it will not let me open it if it does not immediately open up NetflixGameController I need this to be fixed I cannot play Infernax

this seems really cool and i wanna play really bad but there's no way to connect my phone.... is it bluetooth or-? i'm confused

it’s not working games seem cool but I just wish it would work on my iphone11 so please fix

I really enjoy playing all the games and I believe it is a great concept but with the 1.4.8 update I believe NetflixGameController will not allow me to play and it will say I need to have it downloaded even if I already do but overall ever game I have played is fun and once again great idea I’ve just been having trouble using NetflixGameController to play the games on my tv.

When I scan the QR code, my browser opens immediately followed by NetflixGameController Store opening. Not sure if it’s just my device though (iPhone 13) because it works fine on my husband’s phone (iPhone 13 pro). So, I wish there was a QR code scanner or camera feature in the N remote app itself. Absolutely love this idea though so hoping to update my review and rating once this product’s been refined.

Every time I go to a different game it says there was error and that makes me upset

So my boyfriend, he is an avid gamer and he plays video games such as call of duty in Fortnite and games really excite him. He’s currently trying to purchase a PS five after his basically got stolen along time ago so we found this game on Netflix and he kind of got into it and we’re playing it and it freezes up. I went to go take a picture then I tried to come back to the game and it wouldn’t allow me to continue with the game and he got so mad at me so you guys really need to work on that?

So when I first got this I was like ok this is really cool and I enjoyed it. So it was fine for the first day. But then I tried one of the games and it said it couldn’t connect. I know that means my internet was bad but it wasn’t. I tried all the other games to see if it was just that certain one but they all said that. I just shrugged it off and watched a regular show. It’s been like 2 weeks and every time I try to play a game that is what happens. Idk if I should delete and re download NetflixGameController or if it has something to do with the tv or the phone or whatever but I’m really not sure what to do. But if it did work it would be an amazing game.

So this is actually pretty awesome,I like the game I’m playing called “OXENFREE”but today I tried to play and suddenly it says I have to ask NetflixGameController Store for NetflixGameController I already have,I also think the other games other then the fruit matching ones are a lil boring,I hope it’s just NetflixGameController Store and not this that’s acting up with my controller

when I try to play this one game, while in the game there's glitches and bugs happening, but the rest of the games are fun.

The game “Rocket” won't let me start it and play and some other games won't work and it's just a pitch-black screen when I first saw it I was so excited to play something new it kicked me out of the game and I got so disappointed but its a great conce

I have a great time playing NetflixGameController even my dad likes one of the games. But you can only play from your tv which is not good because that is the only way your are able to play some of the games. So I say you can still have NetflixGameController but in it you can put it to the screen like before or make it like touch screen on the Xbox app. Where the game is on your screen and the buttons are on the side out of the way. So that is why it should be more mobile.

Definitely buggy rn such as sometimes when I open the game I want to play, there is no way or option for my phone to connect to it. Which makes me not be able to play. But I did get to play once and it was a lot of fun!

It is still a working progres I'm on an iPhone 13 running on the IOS 17.4.1 and it was able to work once but it stopped working art or that

It’s obviously still a work in progress but it is a fantastic idea and great when NetflixGameController actually connects to the TV. I’m running iOS 17.4 on my iPhone 13 and it was able to connect once, but no longer :( I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. But! My sister’s phone is a new model running the same iOS and it connects 100% of the time. Like I said, it’s still got some kinks that need to be ironed out, but once they are I’ll be playing a lot more

The n Netflix games are so good. I feel like they should put more games out there. The first one that I played was rocket. It was an adventure for me and I feel like more people should play it so if you’re reading my review I hope that you enjoy it - Maite

It is a great concept and all, but it would be easier if you could connect though Bluetooth. Also I want to see some multiplayer games and more game options. I can’t wait to see the full version released.

Incredible technology for the entertainment add on to the Netflix subscription.

A suggestion I have it to make multiplayer games like puzzle games that can be played through different tvs or split screen controlled through individual phones

Deep story mode games would be awesome too

This is one of the best ideas Netflix is an a long time. Truly an innovative and unique concept for a streaming service.

It provides even more incentives to purchase a sub’s subscription which of course makes it an outlier from other streaming services.

With more development and games available (and possibly multiplayer) this could be a multimillion dollar idea. Keep it up Netflix 👍

Having an option to play Netflix iPad games by using our iPhone as controller would be amazing. Hope you add this feature and it is released for everyone soon.

It’s a beta but they did a great job with it. The controls were surprisingly responsive. I’m giving five stars for being a great companion app and a good controller. The game itself was too slow paced for me. I look forward to the next game(s).

It’s such a fun way to put a spin on your Netflix use me and my family play together by taking turns every night now the family favorite it rocket it’s a little laggy but what do you expect it’s a beta

Once I saw NetflixGameController for this I went on my tv and was mesmerized by the idea. Know I understand it’s still a work in progress, but I couldn’t connect a second time. Still a very good idea, seems everyone is having the same problem to.

I love that you can play games on Netflix but whenever you do its really laggy so try to make it less laggy and more clear or something idk but yeah keep up the work!😊😊😊

I think this concept is really great and could become something big if gone about the right way , and some technical issues get resolved. Some things I think people would really enjoy are : Trivia games (multiple regular topics , Netflix based topics ), truth or dare , truth and lie games , This or that games ( multiple regular topics ,Netflix based topics) , sorting games( for kids) ; along with mini multiplayer games , split screen multiplayer games , and even international multiplayer games and tournaments. I really like this concept , and again it could go so far if built on the right way!!!

You should make the connection an in-app thing, like have an in-app camera that works only for the QR codes. Please make this, it is really helpful!
