Played since iOS 2

I've played this game since iOS 2, but now it isn't as good as before. It won't save anymore and because there is no way to unlock the car colors, they have been forced to just give you since the start a single unlocked version of each one instead of being able to win for getting them and all the other combinations not available anymore. Also, the camera angle needs to be optimized for a bigger viewport (the cars are dissapearing).

Wow

this is one of the first games to come out on FastlaneStreetRacingLite store. you could seriously download it on any iphone or ipod or ipad running anything over ios 1. meaning this is playable on any apple device besides the mac ever! that’s actually really cool if you think about it, and one of the most nostalgia peaks for me is that i played the full version before it got removed for no reason. i’m impressed with this version though and find myself coming back to it very often!

Great game but please update!

I have played this game since 2010 it all started on my dads iphone 4 and ever since that it has been my favorite racing game but now that I have an iPhone X this game is impossible to play. The black edges cause me to have reach my hand out to hit the gas pedal and have one or two races my hand cramps up. Please make an update to fix this! I would even pay for a new version!

Nice game but...

It's of course a good game for racing lovers but iOS 10 says it won't be available if not updated in next version of the iOS. Even it's graphics quality and features are poor in sense of iOS 10. I request the developers to highly upgrade FastlaneStreetRacingLite so that we can feel proud of it.

Good.

The game is fun and easy to play. However, since the new release of IOS 11.2, only one camera view is now available. I would even be willing to pay $5 to see an upgrade and nice gameplay improvements.

Happy Accident!

I was thinking about this racing game and like magic it’s back! iPad version please, but very happy to play this again so many years later… totally made my day!

Good? Bad?

I downloaded this game about a year ago and deleted it for more data on my phone. It was a very good racing game. Then I just downloaded it again and now it doesn't let me play it.

Still active today

This was one of the best racing games back then, and still my personal favorite today. Recommended to anyone.

Think of a cross between Ridge Racer and Rush 2049

For building up a garage of hot custom rides, go for Need For Speed or Fast & Furious; for realistic car control and challenging, mirror-busting racing, go for Firemint's Real Racing.

What this Fastlane demo does well is show off the iPhone's graphics capabilities while giving a genuinely good, fast, arcade-like racing experience. It makes other mobile ports (Asphalt 4, I'm talking about you) look half-baked. Detailed car models, big tracks with lots of features, good car control (although surpassed by the newer Real Racing), and well-done effects like environmental lighting put this squarely in the top 5 of racing games for the iPhone.

If you like this demo well enough, spring for the full version. it's an impressive effort for one of the first racing games ever for the iPhone.

Best game ever in my IPod touch 4th

By far my most favorite game of all time still existing to this day and still have it in my iPod touch 4th generation.

Good/bad

This is a good game but it is impossible to not crash into walls. And when I crash, it makes this annoying sound and it won't let me accelerate for like 5 seconds

Good!

Oh really?

This review is mostly in response to mshawgawa's review. I happen to be a twelve year old, but as you can see, I can spell perfectly well, and I believe that many of those badly spelled reviews are by adults during their mid-life crisis. Also, I believe that a twelve-year-old's thoughts would be important, seeing as many video games and computer games are aimed at our age group. They are certainly not aimed at adults (or older teens) like yourself who are immature enough to still be playing games for kids my age. Ha ha. I'll bet you didn't expect a precocious twelve-year-old prodigy like me to retaliate like this, did you? Concerning the game, I have no idea how this is is a top app, since it has no outstanding graphics or other features, and frankly, it's rather disappointing based on the good reviews. Take it from me, don't waste your time on this, and certainly don't buy the full version for it's exorbidant price (relative to how good of an app it is, and the prices of other apps). Get a couple of good 99 cent games instead, or the free lightbike app, which is quite amazing.

Very good game but...

Yeah guys, as a new Free game I must admit it's worth it to be dowloaded because of the good gfx and the gaming innovation these guys(The Developers), did. We must not forget iPhone isn't developed for and it is not a gaming console and all we can do is just pleasure ourselves with such kill-some-time games. I really wanna see more options to the free version such a more levels, cars and races because as we all know you guys(Developers) people will stop buying your Full version soon or later. What I recommend is, if you really wanna make some money bring us a subscriptions like for example "2$/mo and get your full access" and blah-blah. Why so?
Because what we have right now is both(Free & Full) versions actually compete each other and they both very soon will lose the whole market you guys already gained, since we all know that people like and prefer everything that states..."Free"! Keep in mind and bring us more new stuff in the coming days! Thank you!

Great Game(not perfect)

This is the best racing game i have ever played! I could not believe how much fun it was and how much control of the car you have. The different cars really do drive completely different. It has crashed during a game twice out of hundreds of games, so that is not a very high percentage. My one complaint is after you play a while and go to another app when you go back to the game the main menu controls are dead. A shut down of the phone brings it back, but that is a hassle.

Not the best racer on the iTouch, but close.

This does look like one of the more polished games for the iTouch, but I can tell from the lite version that it has a lot of flaws. I've played other race games, and this one is just harder to control. I don't mean more challenging, I do mean more difficult. The graphics are very good, maybe only Ferrari GT has better, but it's close. The full version is only $2 which might mean the lite isn't worth it, but to give the programmers credit, the lite gives you two tracks, decent opponents, and some enjoyable replay. Definitely worth the download, and after you've played it for 20 minutes or so, can decide if worth playing any more, or should buy the full version.

Calculate the speed

This is incredible. So realisic, streering, braking, exept for the speed. I played 2 races before writing this, and the second time after I got the feel of the steering, I checked out the HUD while driving, which I couldn't do the first time wobbling accross the raid and scraping against the wall >.<. Anyway, when I saw the speed, I was like, no way, that can't be right. This place must be huuuge!! When I past a "civilian" car, it seemed like I was going maybe 3 times their speed, so you should half what the speedometer says.

I didn't expect this

Wow I got just finished playing this lite version and I wanted to share with the world how great I thought it was. Unbelivable. I thought this lite version was amazing. The controls are very very responsive and it doesn't seem to lag at all. Love the graphics too. I wish there was online play or something but it's a lite version and I don't know if that's possible on an iPhone or in the full version? Hopefully they have time attack on there. But anyway this game is great

This Game Rocks!!!

I really enjoyed the lite version of the game! DEFINITLY gonna buy the full version! Compared with other racing games on the store this one really gives the feel of speed! The graphics are veeery well polished and the controls seemed hard at the begining but after 3 minutes it became easy to handle! The A.I presents a good challenge at the Hard Playing mode and I like that. Their not impossible to beat but you still have try a little harder to do so.
I totally recommend this game!
