First time trying dating apps or social networking April 2019. Tried Tinder, Bumble and this app. this app just blows the other two out of the water. Far better especially without the creepy exposed distance location on Tinder, the commenting to entice conversation is great plus showing real last names of matches are all great. Even the option of filtering marijuana users and allowing users to set the preference and hide it publicly is there which can prove useful in avoiding potentially uncomfortable topics.

In my opinion after a week of subscription to all three it’s obvious this app is best for those looking for long term relationships.

Not sure what some of these reviews are talking about... I’ve met several great people on this app & I love how women make the first move! ChristianSlide itself is great & I really appreciate how this app does its best to keep it a “harassment-free” site, it’s absolutely one of the better ones out there! There are a lot of features for the free version & for the quality of ChristianSlide there’s more offered than some other apps. Also, I can’t blame human nature or someone else’s poor pickup lines on ChristianSlide itself. People are unpredictable & it’s not this app’s fault what people do or say.

All you do is make a nice profile that would cause browsers to stop and think about you and then you swipe right for yes and left for no. It’s like a video game where you just keep going until a match is made. A match is when both people so happens to say yes to each other’s profile. Women goes first in communication and she has a day to respond. All free unless you want some beefier services to increase your chances in getting a conversation. Ads are few in between.

I honestly don’t understand why there are bad reviews or people saying that there are fake profiles. I think this app is the best dating app and then bumble.

First off all ChristianSlide requires a Facebook account to use.

I have Facebook account but once Facebook data transfers over it is impossible to change. I had an error from Facebook that appears on app making it useless for others to match with me because my age listed in Facebook is beyond the scope of ChristianSlide. I was able to fix on Facebook but no matter what I did it will not fix on ChristianSlide . I cannot use ChristianSlide no matter what I tried to fix. I was forced to delete my account and remove ChristianSlide after wasting my time trying to fix. I would give this zero stars but it forces me to at least assign one star.

Classy dating app and met a heck of a guy on here. Little did we know we’d fall for the folks we said we’d never date... going a few months strong now and I honestly can’t imagine myself with anyone else. Funny how love came out of the “blue clear sky” when it was the last thing I was looking for

I have to say after trying some of the other dating apps, I'm actually kind of impressed with this one. The design might be somewhat stale, but the important things - like people to match with and people to chat with are here. I'm hopeful to find a promising relationship here. Thank you

Easy to use effective app. So happy I finally found an app to find people with similar values.

So I've used other Christian dating apps and I want to give people a good review of them so people understand why I am giving Slide 5 stars.

When you download other apps like Mingle or Christian dating for free, there is a very commercial feel to the apps. The second thing that I think is most important is quality of people I have talked to - and on Slide, the people are real. Now this may seem funny but on mingle especially, I know that I am talking to a robot half the time.

As for the commercial nature of the apps. Basically, when you are on Christian dating for free there is a ton of stuff that the company is trying to sell you in the form of advertisements and half of them are for mingle! And I respect that. However, Slide free for use and I know that I'm talking to real people because I met two of them on the last version. That's why I would give ChristianSlide 5 stars

I downloaded ChristianSlide. & unfortunately it wants me to log in using Facebook & unfortunately I don’t have one at this time. If there’s another way please let me know somehow.

No photos show up at all. I submitted ones that have been accepted on every other Christian sure, but nothing is approved. No one else’s photos show up, either!

They don’t allow you to create a profile with your email or phone number is has to connect to a Facebook profile and if you don’t have Facebook you’re screwed.

I’d love to use ChristianSlide, but the only way is to link through your Facebook. I no longer use Facebook or any social media of any kind anymore.

I only gave it 5 stars because they won't post reviews without 5 stars... My first question is: what is the point of setting an age parameter if there is a "+" behind the max age???? (i.e. If I want to set the age range to 24-32, it says 24-32+ and I end up having to sort through people who 45, etc.). There aren't very many options for filters, so be prepared to do a considerable amount of swiping left. It also doesn't let you fill in much info about yourself. The hands down worse feature about ChristianSlide is that it will send you notifications or display a badge saying you have messages. But when you open your inbox, nothing... ChristianSlide is so buggy. If you're looking for a solid Christian dating app, skip this one and try Crosspaths instead. So much better!

I just updated this to the newest version I wanted to give you an update to my rating. Before I had said that using ChristianSlide is so great! I didn't think it was possible to download an app and see people around you. I think it's good to connect with others and to me this was easy to use.

Now that I'm on the new version I want to make note of a few things that I saw that are different than before. The first thing that comes to mind is that ChristianSlide is definitely faster than it was before. The second thing that I noticed is that there are a lot more people in my area which is really nice to see. I'll keep posting as I'm using it

I'm very supportive of the idea behind ChristianSlide because it provides a Christian alternative to Tinder. However, the execution of ChristianSlide is what caused me to give it one star and delete it.

First off, ChristianSlide lacks a significant user base to pull from. I searched for up to 300 miles from my city (which is a major city) and I got an error message stating turn distance off to get matches. Then when profiles finally did come despite being on WIFI the pictures in profiles never loaded or partially loaded and the network timed out constantly.

Christians need a counter app to Tinder, Zoosk, Match, Ok Cupid, etc. Nonetheless, it seems like when worldly people create apps built for a secular base it is well built and well known. I see no reason that Christians should not have something of equal if not better quality. Please improve this apps functionality and user friendliness. Better marketing and features would also help as well.

I'm surprised that I would write my first review on a dating app but this one, let alone for Christians, is different. First of all, there were actual people in my area that I saw right away. Secondly, I like the bright colors and ChristianSlide also suggests people that have similarities and some values. And also I emailed them asking about the number on ChristianSlide and they let me know that it the number represents when someone slides right or likes you so that you go in and like them back. Pretty cool in my opinion, but what do I know. Only a few dates for this chick!
