The shake option should be available even when not in EmergencyWhistle . In an emergency there isn’t enough time to click through. Make it like Siri. “Hey, emergency.”! It goes off, or you shake your phone and it goes off.

Good item to have for any age. Downloaded to test for self & daughter. Only thought, if someone really had to use it as a deterrent and somehow ended up back at desktop it turns off like most iPhone apps. Figure out how to leave it on until tapped to turn off even at desktop, like the music apps.

I wish there was a way to keep this active when my phone is locked. It sleeps unless I keep it active. And I can’t really unlock my phone quickly if I’m being chased. Also, I don’t know why EmergencyWhistle needs access to my camera. Is it because of the flashing light? Looking forward to future updates!

EmergencyWhistle very effective but when you put it on shake mode the flashing doesn’t stop but I guess that’s good if your getting raped?

This is incredibly loud, but that's a good thing! It blares the alarm while the flashlight on your phone flashes frantically. This is great for anyone walking alone at night. Drawing attention will make anyone trying to assault you run off, especially if EmergencyWhistle makes it seem like you took their photo. It only glitched once for me while I was testing it in my room and the alarm turned off on its own even though I didn't touch the screen or have it on shake.

I thought this was named Rape Alarm. What happened to that? Seriously though, this really could be useful in an emergency. Especially on the devices that are able to get much louder sound output.

I can understand if you're in a crowd and you're being threatened, but you still have space between the two of you. But in a situation where you are being moved against your will or getting chased are you really going to have the time to open your phone and find EmergencyWhistle to use is. Besides that I think it does exactly what it was intended to do🤗.
