I was looking for an app to give me ideas for activities to do with my four children. First off... I have CHILDREN as in plural and this app does not take into account having more then one child, different age groups or genders (though I'm not sure gender matters as much as age here anyway). Secondly the "activities" are seriously JACKED! Really? You actually expect me to lecture my 10 & 9 year boys on the geopolitical climate of foreign nations and how it effects their peoples. Leaving them hungry? Prepare a meal of ground wheat and goats milk that's only enough to cover the bottom of a small bowl so they go to bed... feeling... hunger??? I mean, I GET it! But my 10 & 9 year certainly would not! Nor would they get spending an evening without electricity?! Camping out? SURE! That's FUN! It's an actual activity... I really think this needs to be looked at and some of these reassigned for a perhaps more age appropriate "activities". (Though I'm not sure what teenager is going to consider that a "good time" but it'd probably be an excellent lesson in empathy).
I also get the feeling these are geared for a strictly urban type of environment. Which is fine it doesn't fit my family. We see cows from our front porch! So maybe you should have that in the description somewhere before another Milk Maid Mother like myself drops the dough for tips on hanging elevator art (which by the way was by FAR my favorite, but alas the cows just won't hold still!)
