I was excited about Deadline - great idea. Unfortunately, it crashed constantly. They've fixed the crashing now, but man... I have to ask why they bothered.

The concept is dicey enough, but the questions are so yes-and-no broad and the distinctions so loose as to make it silly. Maybe that's the purpose; after all, there is a dead crow on Deadline .

this app boils down to, "Wanna live longer? Exercise some, don't smoke, drink moderately, check out your family history and chill."

While the stress of using it may have taken an hour or two off of my life, at least I saved you a little space on your iPhone.

Surely Deadline is a fail. Plugged in my stats and I’m going to live to 130! That’s statistically impossible.
For an algorithm that uses numbers. Go figure.

A bird on its back sticking the feet up in the air is a cute way of showing death, and that's what Deadline is: a reminder of certain death, our limited time on earth, our mortality which makes relative all the mundane things we fuss about.

Now we're going Disney: a dead bird is seemingly too much of a reminder for some people to handle without giving themselves a bullet or harassing the developers about how un-PC the icon is.

Whatever the reason, now we have a happy bird, not sure what he's got to do with certain death. Might as well choose Donald Duck or Mickey Mouse as a logo for Deadline, would be equally meaningless.

And what happened to the countdown? That's what I bought Deadline for!

Is it a bit macabre? Yes, but that's the whole point. There no nice way of making it clear to people that life is a sexually transmitted disease that starts at conception and always is terminal.

I bought Deadline because it was a countdown clock. Now they are just telling me the age I will live to. I can do basic math I've got that figured out. I want the years months days hours and minutes left displayed. Please fix your app and I will update my rating to 5 stars. It gets 1 star just telling me when I'll die. Thanks but there are A Ton of websites that do that!

It crashes after inputing age, can't wait to use it when it's fixed though!

It imports Health data but then crashes every time it gets to the weight question. When you restart it, it'll suggest a 'this app', but based on incomplete information.

I was trying to get Deadline to work and thought for sure it was broken. It wasn't prompting me to sync with HealthKit. I sent a message to the developer and he responded asking if I had hit the yellow button? I had not. In my defense it doesn't exactly look like a button.

The questions that Deadline asks can't be terribly insightful as the drop down of answers didn't fit me for a couple of them.

But after configured, Deadline does do what it says it does. However because of the lack of intuitiveness and poor answers on the questions it asks... 4 stars.

Nice app to make you see how your health affects your future. Definitely recommend.

However...

The new version dropped the countdown page. Any chance we could get that back?

Useful information and notifications, but an apple watch app to go with it seems like a no brainer. Then every time you look at your watch you'll see how much time you have left.

I love Deadline- we all talk about being healthier, but seeing your time tick down by the second really makes you want to do something about it!

It really makes me think about how to live a better quality life.
To the guy complaining about data erasure - Deadline has no way of doing that. Besides, such a thing would not pass apps preview.

Guess I should stop drinking so much booze it adds years on. Deadline is fun and a reminder that the choices you make now while you're young will greatly effect you when you're older.

Very interesting app and surprised me with a year earlier than I thought.

It just fails to get more details about you. The questions are very simple.

Would be better if you go more in depth with each of your question in next update.
