This used to be a good app. Now, every time I try to open it, it just freezes on the main page and never opens to the weather. I have to quit and reopen EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I’ve deleted and downloaded again, no change. So I’ll delete permanently.

I do not like CBSBostonWeather because in order for it to work, my location has to be set to “always” and I don’t feel safe having my location followed

Lots of message alerts - OUT LOUD - “A severe thunderstorm alert has been issued for your area.” But when you look in CBSBostonWeather , no alerts in any of the places listed in CBSBostonWeather to monitor. PITA. Uninstalling and I’ll wait till maybe the next version. Maybe. I have other wether apps...

CBSBostonWeather is constantly freezing with audio and video when trying to watch the weather report videos! I don't have this problem with wcvb weather app....

I like the design of it better than some of the other weather apps I have on my phone, but it’s simply the least reliable app I have ever used. It’s not uncommon for their map to show absolutely no precipitation when there’s a lot of activity in the area. It is also not uncommon for CBSBostonWeather to freeze up or have no data.

CBSBostonWeather is a hidden jewel! Very functional! Map function is the best! Has everything I need as a meteorologist working for the FAA. It’s all the info you need! Instant temps & dew-points. Best part it’s free!!!

App worked well up until about month ago. Works for a few uses and then freezes on the opening screen. Work around is to delete and then reinstall from cloud. OK for a few uses and then the “groundhog” makes an appearance. Like WBZ in Boston for weather but the price is becoming too steep!
