With logging turned on, Scannr can turn recorded data into informative charts.
The scanned data never leaves your mobile phone, unless you configure Scannr to send data to a custom URL.
In settings, you can set Scannr up to send the scand data to a URL of your choosing so you can save the data for later if you have a need to do so.
Scannr uses the iPhone camera for scanning the barcode on the back of a US and Canadian driver’s license.
If the person is above the age limit, the scanned data is shown on the green background.

By using BlinkID, a technology used in banking applications, information from the barcode is deciphered and turned into a human-readable form.

If you find it useful enough, there’s an option of buying an unlimited-scans license for a time period.
If you bought such a license, you can recover it in the settings screen of the app after logging in.

ScannrIDcheck works quickly and accurately, but it neither displays ID/License numbers, nor does it capture thumbnails of the ID photos. Furthermore, there no options that allow for manual text entry (e.g. contact #s, location tagging, reference #s etc.), and practical exporting/printing features do not seem to be available. Add those features and you'll have created a must-have LEO companion app. I'd gladly pay $25 for unlimited scans with these features; until then a quick snapshot of the ID/License with ContextCam will have to suffice.

I work at a bar that has a lot of college students, and sometimes the scanner works well others time s it won’t scan ! And sometimes I am very busy I don’t have time to keep trying

So far I scanned 3 adults that came up Green that meant they where 21 and 1 that was a student that showed up RED and gave the age which was 17. Will test it out tonight.

Like i get it its quick and easy to scan and see if someones 21 but ScannrIDcheck has absolutely NO way to detect fake ID’s.. took 3 last night and all of then passed. Don't waste your money

Paid for year-long subscription and forgot my password now can’t use ScannrIDcheck and password reset doesn’t work and not getting a response from email support

I used ScannrIDcheck on both my state issued ID and my cousin’s fake ID. Both of which stated something along the lines of “ID not scanning. Possible fake.” ScannrIDcheck is not reliable. The BCS app worked to identify the fake and to confirm mine was real.

ScannrIDcheck can not detect fake ids and should not be used to verify if the cardholder is of age but rather if the underage person spent good money to purchase a fake Id that has the appropriate falsified information on it.

ScannrIDcheck cannot be used without creating an online account. Although seemingly free, this is a frustrating roadblock. There is no reason this should require Internet access to work.

I tried five IDs - three from NY, one from PA and one from AR. The one from AR scanned fine but the others crashed ScannrIDcheck . Not sure what the issue is. please fix

we just did an exercise for training purposes and i have confirmation the ID i used was fake. ScannrIDcheck showed it as real.
