About Fitbit Finder

Fitbit Finder listens for the Bluetooth radio signals that your Fitbit sends to your iPhone or iPad and then displays the relative strength of those signals as you move around, so you can zero in on where you lost your Fitbit.

Fitbit Finder provides audio feedback in addition to a visual display of signal strength.

Fitbit Finder helps you quickly reunite with your lost Fitbit, before the battery runs out.

You need to be within 75-150 feet of the lost Fitbit for the app to pick up the bluetooth signal.

Simplify pair it with Fitbit Finder before you lose it, using the Pin command.

Fitbit is a registered trademark and service mark of Fitbit, Inc., which is not affiliated with the maker of this app and does not endorse, service or warrant the functionality of this product.

And now, Fitbit Finder is the only finder that can be trained to track your specific Fitbit devices.

*If a competitor's app finds your Fitbit and Fitbit Finder doesn't.

Save money by finding your lost Fitbit rather than replacing it.

If you are hundreds of feet away, unfortunately, no app can help you find your Fitbit.

Found it

My wife is constantly losing her Fitbit along with everything else that she holds in her hand. Had used the free Light Blue successfully several times, but this last time it got us to the room (a ceiling wall away on the second floor) but not to the device. Bought this finder and within about 10 minutes it moved us close enough to make us stay and look. There it was, under the dryer! Works well. The beeping is a good idea, since it gives information on ongoing basis. FitbitFinder will certainly come in handy again because of first sentence I wrote.
Update! Wouldn't track, but that was because the Fitbit itself needed to be rebooted...wouldn't sync. After I rebooted it, it worked again.
Re first sentence again: this time, she went swimming in the ocean and while the rice trick worked, it ended up getting fried.
Then I lost Fitbit. Finder kept beeping in/ near closet. Looked everywhere until finally thought to look in rear pockets of pants I'd worn on the day I lost it. Voila. For some reason the Finder showed different levels of signal strength on different devices.

Best App on my phone!

I have used FitbitFinder for two years and it is reduces my stress greatly! I have a clip on fitbit with a dark cover and I manage to lose it regularly. FitbitFinder has NEVER let me down and finds it in the most unusual places. One time it caused a whole store to get excited -Sams Club. I got home one night to realize the Fitbit was no longer clipped on my pocket. I checked my fitbit dashboard and it pinpointed that I had lost it at Sam’s Club the day before by seeing activity tracker had stopped. It’s a HUGE store. I checked at the front desk of Sam’s. They knew I was going around looking at for it and I narrowed it down to a small portion of this warehouse type store. To everybody’s amazement was able to find my little fitbit. Everyone was shocked—and I was thrilled!!

Every time

Several years ago, I lost my Fitbit in the backyard while mowing. I never thought I’d find it, but I did! After some time went my, I stopped using it daily. About a year ago, I started wearing it again. However, I had moved somewhere with a MUCH larger yard. When the clip fell off of my pocket (I can’t wear the watch version), I thought for sure it was a goner. I remembered I had FitbitFinder tho and thought it was worth a try. It’s so great at detecting a signal! I’ve since had a couple of other incidents where I misplaced it in changing clothes or whatnot. 5 times with 100% success rate!

I was skeptical, but Proven wrong

I bought this and was very skeptical. Where I thought I lost my Fitbit was not where I found it. I live in a two story house and where I thought it was and where found it was directly on top of each other. So my signal was strong in the first place. I went upstairs and found my Fitbit charge within a few minutes. I did have to remove some remote devices that I thought might be influencing my signal but maybe I didn’t have to do that. Sure enough I found it in a pair of work pants. Note, when you are within less than a foot, it does a very super fast beeping sound.

0 stars

I lost my Fitbit and bought FitbitFinder. FitbitFinder could not find it at all despite following the instructions. I downloaded an app called “lightblue” which found it and even told me the strength as I was getting closer/further away from the device. The lightblue also found other non-Fitbit related devices. After finding my Fitbit I have tried figuring out how to contact the creators of Fitbit Finder so that I can get my money back “as guaranteed” but have found no way to contact them. Also during my search I saw the little hidden words at the bottom that states that the “money back guarantee” is only if a competing app successfully finds your Fitbit (not that you’ll find a way to contact anybody to get your money back anyways). Well a competing (bluelight) did. And it was free. So you might as well try that first.

Does Not Work At All

I would give FitbitFinder zero stars if I could, I spent 1
one hour looking for my Fitbit ionic with FitbitFinder and FitbitFinder never registered the signal. I wasted six dollars on this pointless app, even though I had purchased it a few years ago and it didn’t work then either. I was hoping at this point it would have improved as it was recommended by many sources online. I followed the instructions FitbitFinder provided me with and it still would not register the signal. In the end I turned off my phone and started looking without any app to help me, my Fitbit was found behind my bed In my room. I was perplexed because I had checked my room with FitbitFinder at least four times. Do yourself a favor by not wasting money on FitbitFinder that doesn’t work.

Saved me so much money!

I lost my Fitbit with black band doing yard work over a 3 acre area. I was sure it long gone and I was already searching for a replacement when I found FitbitFinder. I bought and once I was in the general area of the Fitbit it guided me right to it. I told my husband the tones sounded like we were right on top of it and we were, literally standing on it with my right foot. The black band blended in the grass and leaves and I know I wouldn’t have found it without FitbitFinder. Look how much money I saved not buying a new Fitbit!

Unbelievable

I would not have believed this possible. I rarely rate apps but this... short story: FitbitFinder found my fitbit Zip within about 15 minutes of me walking up and down stairs a few times. Longer story: the Zip was *inside* a hot and rotating tumble dryer!!!! I would not have thought a Bluetooth signal would have made it through the walls of the dryer...

On a related point, I’m pretty impressed the Zip made it through the wash cycle unharmed. :-)

Wow, it really works!

I lost my Fitbit, and knew it was somewhere in my house because I could still connect to it. After much searching, I got FitbitFinder and tried it out. It took us a while, but we were able to pinpoint the location of my Fitbit in a drawer full of stuff. We pulled out that drawer looked through it, and voila, there was my Fitbit!

Simple and very functional

I really like that FitbitFinder does nothing more than what it is meant to do- track down and misplaced Fitbit. It actually mak a finding one a little fun. Equally good, it is devoid of advertisements or unneeded bells and whistles. It’s a great little app, a must have for Fitbit owners. I’ve never failed to find my Fitbit One, even in a big house with three little kids who occasionally run off with it.

Found Fitbit!

I lost my Fitbit while doing some landscape work on a Saturday and didn’t notice it was missing until the end of the day. On Sunday, after walking all over the yard and flower bard, rummaging through all the trash and yard waste bags to no avail I downloaded FitbitFinder. To my surprise I found my Fitbit within 5 minutes buried under 3”s of mulch. Great app!

Didn’t work for me. In fact, it made it worse

FitbitFinder advertised that it works for Charge 2, but it didn’t for me. In fact, it asked me to unpair the device with my Fitbit app, which then lost me the ability to use a silent alarm and listen for the vibration. Now I can’t repair my Fitbit with my phone unless I have the Fitbit in my hand. And I don’t of course. Ie, I am now worse off than before downloading FitbitFinder which advertised that it would make my Fitbit beep, but it doesn’t even detect my Fitbit in the first place even though I have battery and everything.

The Audio Feedback Is A Great Feature!

I tried 7 other paid and free apps and FitbitFinder with the audio feedback, like a submarine sonar, worked the best. It took a while to figure out If the Fitbit was inside or outside my house and then I had to figure out if it was inside or outside my car before finally finding on the ground by the passenger side of my car.

At First I thought it was a waste of money

I had not unpaired my Fitbit from my phone and the tracking was wonkey, but once I did that, the tracking signal was very accurate and helped me find it quickly, hidden in the grass! I’m so happy!

FitbitFinder has now helped me find my flex 2 four times now - I am so thankful!!!!

Works as expected!

Been trying to find my fitbit flex on my own with no luck. I thought the strap might have broke and lost it. I used FitbitFinder and was able to find my fitbit in my car, tucked underneath the trunk! The signal grew weaker as I moved away from the garage, and grew stronger as I entered the garage. I opened the trunk of my car and there it was! Need to replace the broken fitbit strap.
