KWWL seems to deteriorate rather than improve. The most recent notification said it names the Gold Star teachers, but in KWWL they are not listed, & the link for tickets is broken or never actually linked to the web site. Too many ads now & now not a quick & easy way to get weather or recent news

KWWL doesn't work. Every time I see an interesting push notification and click it, I get an error that the article doesn't exist. There are a LOT of push notifications that are not interesting or what I'd consider "breaking news", but that is an issue with this app and not KWWL itself.

A true reporter should be able to deliver news to their audience without the people being able to know your opinion. The opinion of your writers and therefore your editor etc is seen in headlines as well as the story. Very disappointing.

Every push notification opens to a blank white page or closes KWWL all together. Sometimes KWWL won't even open. I enjoy the push notifications and would like to read the stories but never can.

KWWL itself works fine for the most part however the alerts/notifications are super annoying. Most of them are not breaking news and several in the morning are advertising for what they’re showing on the news.

The Notifcations should be broken down for ads, informational/sports, and breaking news to allow allow those who don’t care about what’s on Today In Iowa for example at 6:05 AM to turn off select notifications.

I have been all over KWWL and googled for solutions. How do I change what types of alerts I get? I want to turn some off yet leave some on that pertain to my kids and weather. All else I want to go to KWWL and look up when I’m ready.

Keeps crashing when I open it and have to uninstall and reinstall it again to get it to work. Sometimes it’s fine for a week or two but always comes back to the lockup or just won’t open. When it works it’s great! Keeping it working is a nightmare

Recent update has crippled the live video option. Same ad over and over... cuts off in the middle and goes to commercial, no full screen option. Fix it guys, or I’ll find another local news app.

Not a fan at all of the newest version. No longer can we get separate news stories! Even the little blurbs we get are no written in complete sentences! KWWL is basically worthless to me now.

I have had both the news and weather apps for years. No problems. All of a sudden about 3 weeks ago I started getting all the weather push notifications for Cedar Rapids (lightening has been detected in your area) but not really my area. I’m in Waterloo- always have been. I’ve tried everything I could think of to correct that- settings- allow location etc. nothing worked. Now it’s just frustrating. So frustrating I am ready to delete the apps.

The weather forecast font is entirely too small to read and not localized enough. The live feed doesn’t work and good luck trying to figure out how to navigate the entire sight. NOT user friendly at all .

Love KWWL for news and weather! It’s my go to for information. However, I would suggest using black for the lettering on the blue backgrounds. It is difficult to read the white on the light blue background. Needs more contrast. Either darker letters or darker background. Having both light means you have to enlarge the screen to read and some screens don’t enlarge. Please consider changing this minor detail. Thanks for your excellent reporting.

I looked at the sky the other night it was on highway 20 going south when I looked up in the sky and it was kinda a reddish orange it was really cool, I think I still have a picture of it.
