About Card Prices

We calculate our card prices by checking multiple card sellers' websites, filtering out the crap, and consolidating the results into easy to understand information.

In order to provide the most accurate and realistic card prices possible, we modify the prices of eBay results that contain things like "3x", "x3", "3 copies of", etc.

o Up to date card database with prices for all available variations and prints of cards.

We here at YugiohPrices are dedicated to providing the highest quality price data and item listings possible.

o See which cards are rising or falling in price over the last 24 to 36 hours.

We divide the total listing price by the number of cards being sold, and use that as the price for the listing.

All card price data is updated every three to twelve hours.

o Accurate and realistic prices based on listings from multiple vendors and eBay listings.

We check all of the following websites for card listings and prices.

- Information on what cards are rising or falling in price.

o View price percentage shift history for all cards.

To that effect we have developed comprehensive data processing algorithms designed to filter out all but the highest quality results.

o Pull up prices for any card just by taking a picture of it.

We do this so that common and very cheap cards that aren't worth very much won't appear to have an inflated cost.

Amazing app

I’ve had CardPrices for a few months now and just recently I decided to check some of the reviews just out of boredom. I found a couple of reviews saying the prices were inaccurate, which freaked me out a lot since I traded away a lot of cards using the prices listed. So I decided to do some research of my own, going to several websites like eBay and tcg player to see if most of the prices matched, and to my relief, they did. I just wanted to clarify that for anyone who may have been in the same boat as me or anyone who might be discouraged at first from downloading it. CardPrices is accurate and super useful, with constant card database updates as well as useful search features, and I highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a huge card database with accurate prices that are easy to quickly check.

Not what you think.

CardPrices, to me at least provides a service that isn’t intended. It’s great at showing a large image of the card, as well as blowing up the description of said card, which really helps because other sites just expects you to pinch and blow up the card. This, sadly is where the good things end. Prices are inaccurate and all over the place, which to an extent can be forgiven. What can’t be forgiven, is the fact that you can only look at two cards max before it freezes and fails. It’s almost impossible to do any research on a large amount of cards because it’ll crash almost instantly! I will still keep it installed and check only a few cards at a time, but in the long run I avoid it because of the frequent crashing.

Great app!

I just recently got back into ygo and CardPrices has everything i need as far as information goes on whatever card i search. I really like that i can save a watchlist and check prices daily for specific cards im interested in but also check trending cards etc. If youre getting into selling/collecting rare cards I definitely recommend CardPrices for all of that, and also do yourself a favor and pay the measly couple of bucks to get rid of the ads and to support the guys behind CardPrices , very well worth it in my opinion!

Severely bugged

CardPrices crashes every time I use it. 100%, not exaggerating, every single time. I believe browsing card sets triggers the crash, but searching single cards has also done the same. I have CardPrices set to high quality, so I’m unsure if lowering this would help. Considering CardPrices is designed to handle high quality, I would like to believe that this is not the case. I use an iPhone X running 13.5.1, so possibly I have a better OS than CardPrices is designed to handle? Either way, I would love to continue using CardPrices (considering I paid for it), so here’s to hoping your address this bug issue!

Needs Improvement. Nice for trends, not prices

CardPrices's best uses are:
1. Ripping people off. The prices shown are often far off from the actual price of the cards, in fact, you cannot use this as a quick price check at all. You have to go through the listings to see the accurate prices. How to rip people? Just show them CardPrices's WAY OFF price on one of your cards, they'll think its 5x the price it actually is.
2. Trends. CardPrices is actually very useful for finding out what is rising or falling. Still terribly inaccurate, but just check what is rising, then use a better app for pricing.

Wish There Were More Apps Like This!

Fantastic app! Great for checking prices on the go and staying up to date with what cards are selling. There are a couple random bugs here and there, but it’s nothing that’s a big deal. Aside from that, CardPrices is great!
I hope the creators work on apps for other card games like Pokémon or Magic, because I would love to see a similar app for each.
Very helpful app.

An app that was almost good

CardPrices would be an amazing tool if it differed from the other yu-gi-oh price tools and actually allowed you to post things. Unfortunately CardPrices does allow you to login or connect your paypal, as it appears to. I’ve been trying for the past 2 months, and unfortunately there’s also no way of getting ahold of tech support or any developers for CardPrices to get this feature truly up and running. Seems like CardPrices wanted all the appearance without taking the time to do what truly creates success. Sad to see

Add grading plzzzzz

The past few months I’ve been using CardPrices to list cards on eBay but since they updated their policy on cards requiring if it’s graded or not I can’t use the sell mine feature of CardPrices but other than tht it’s been really useful to me in the past

Good App

I don’t know why ppl are saying CardPrices is a way to “Rip Ppl Off.” I’ve been using CardPrices now for over a year to help sell my cards and I’ve had no problems. I love CardPrices very much. It has tons of information and is so helpful. I’d be lost without it! Keep up the good work developers! Don’t get rid of CardPrices lol, I extremely rely on it for help!! 👍👌👏

Cool but tedious

I’ve used CardPrices for a few years now. It’s always had weird issues like random crashes and images not loading but it’s been functional for the most part. Lately though, it’s been randomly wiping the database of cards, meaning I have to re-download the database every time I want to see listings or search for anything. Not unusable but it is a hassle.

A must have app for fans of the TCG And Anime

I love CardPrices have had it installed for years! It’s like the one app that does exactly what I want it do do! Look up cards I want! Show me listings and links me to the site or seller to purchase quickly and effectively. Why can’t buying a car or home be this easy?!?!

Good app

I began using this to sell my cards. I don't have anyone to actually play against any longer. So selling them is the best option. When I started I was typing in all the information by hand. CardPrices makes it easy and simple and it just takes a few clicks. Highly recommend.

Can be the best app but they don’t want

Very good app but crash every single time I open it and I had to update the data base manually every time I want to use CardPrices .
This happen because last update was 3 years ago , if they put some work and love in CardPrices can be the best for YuGiOh market , in that case definitely worth the ad free price

Very Helpful Utility App

Two suggestions that I have, both would help further separate this from TCGplayer in terms of usability:

1. Histogram/density plot of current card listing prices! Let's me visualize pricing dynamics in more detail than mean/median card price

2. Ability to filter out LP, MP and Damaged cards. With older cards like BE Toon Dragon, damaged cards are sold frequently but many collectors prefer only well-kept cards. Damaged card prices can skew the price point and cause one to undervalue their NM old cards

Keep it up, I have CardPrices out whenever I'm at the game shop!!

Accurate prices & quick eBay listings

CardPrices is top notch. Card prices are both accurate and detailed showing rising/falling value. Also allows posting cards directly to eBay, and manages to be surprisingly painless. Well worth getting.

Neat layout, inaccurate prices.

Rarity of cards and what not often get mixed up so cards like ghost rare stardust will be shown as a $5 card, which is super untrue. Everything else about CardPrices is pretty nice which is why it gets a 4 star

USED to be great

I have been using CardPrices for a few years almost on a daily basis. I stopped about a year ago because it would get rid of all cards from the database every time I used it, so I would constantly have to update the database. It gets really annoying, plus cards won’t update at times even when you just updated database. Please update this, I would love to use CardPrices again it was very convenient. For now I have to use the website.

Very buggy when trying to sell cards

rror 403: disallowed_useragent
You can’t sign in from this screen because CardPrices doesn’t comply with Google’s embedded webview policy. If CardPrices has a website, you can open a web browser and try signing in from there.

You can let CardPrices developer know that CardPrices doesn’t comply with Google’s embedded webview policy.

Amazing Application how ever...

This Application is by far amazing. Quick reference guide to pricing and Also get to see to trends decreasing and Increasing.

How ever for Build Version 2.8.1 there is a
Bug that still hasn’t been fixed. I have to keep rebuilding and downloading 8000+
Card pricing and text every time I use the application. The card information and pricing will disappear after every use.
This is highly annoying to any Vendor, Trader, and or Collection pricing.
This is something that needs to be taken into consideration by all players and hope that the awesome people developing this application and build it up and fix.

Very accurate

CardPrices is very accurate. It pulls prices directly from eBay to tell the prices. The only issue is that it doesn't update as often as Cards sell. My friends and I all use it for pricing trades.
