What does SmoothParking show you that 5 minutes of circling the block will not? Times that parking is allied is clearly marked on the streets already, so SmoothParking doesn't help much by having it on the inter webs. Get back to me when it shows that a parking spot is actually free.
On top of this, SmoothParking says that for my block, parking is open all week, which is not true, and is never true in nyc, because of street cleaning.

I had SmoothParking back in 2016 and loved it. I tried accessing it the last two days and it wasn’t working. I kept getting “try again” notice. Today I just paid for a subscription for a month and SmoothParking is still not working. I am frustrated because there is no way to get help from someone on SmoothParking . I hope that the developer or someone connected with SmoothParking will see this and contact me. I would be happy to change my review.

SmoothParking along with a list of others (Parkwhiz,Spot Angels) is absolutely needed if you have a car in NYC. It is usually spot on with regulations with alternate side parking however the "Save Spot" feature doesn't work, at least for me. With that, I use Spot Angels to remind myself where I parked and set a reminder to move before getting a ticket. Setting the park duration is a bit buggy given if you change the setting you will have to restart SmoothParking for the changes to be updated on the map. I would also like to see the GPS work better in real time if you're driving around looking for parking. Many times you have to refresh SmoothParking using the (🔽) button for SmoothParking to follow your current location. I would also like to see the getting rid of the (north compass function) and see the map move with your direction you're driving.
Other than that SmoothParking is used on the daily and I highly recommend it to those who are driving in the city.

I like SmoothParking. I just don’t understand why, if you pay at 8AM, you can not access all of the features by 1PM on the same day??? If I paid, I should be able to access all of the information within an hour or less.
I have been trying to get parking information for Manhattan for over an hour and it still says I have an internet connection issue?
Impossible! I have great WiFi. I use my MacBook and IPhone all day for work. What’s going on ?
This is disappointing and discouraging especially since the money is paid immediately through SmoothParking .

SmoothParking could use some interface improvements (eg so that it behaved the same as Google Maps in perspective mode) to make it slightly easier to use while driving around looking for a green zone -- but for someone who has to drive around in Brooklyn looking for parking that fits their that alternate side criteria, it's really helpful!

I love SmoothParking! There are spots where there are around 4/5 different signs which can get confusing but I just check SmoothParking and I'm good. Also, when I'm looking for prking, I know which blocks to not even waste my time checking out now.
Saves me a lot of time and effort. Which some features were free but I can't complain.

I urge developers to add option for 9 and 13 hours time window for us who work 8 or 12 hours shifts and need quickly set SmoothParking settings to get the right parking spot. Current version supports only 6 hours or 24 hours. Please

SmoothParking is really good. We’ve recently moved to Manhattan from Queens, and I never thought I would say this, but parking in Queens was quite easy! Even finding spots where there are any viable parking spots is a huge problem here, and even the official DOT website doesn’t have a good map showing where you can or can’t park. Here comes SmoothParking, which judging by its looks is not updated since 2013, but it totally does the job!! It’s not perfect of course, there are minor errors here and there, but it is BY FAR the best application for ASP parking in NYC.

I never review apps, but smooth parking has been so helpful. Before I go someplace, I set the start and end times to check what the parking situation will be for the extent of time I will need it. That way when I get there I can go directly to the street or parking for that length of time I need is possible without a meter. There may or may not be a spot but at least I'm not wasting my time going down streets where it wouldn't be possible at all. I rely on SmoothParking a lot and it's been really helpful.

Used in July 2017 on a weekend trip to NYC. Knew which spots were likely to be open before I arrived and drove straight to that area. Found an "opening soon" spot after about 10 minutes of driving. Car legally parked all weekend and easily saved us $120! Highly recommend.

I use SmoothParking weekly. Some areas the street signs can get confusing so its good to have SmoothParking handy. Also knowing which blocks are available to park in advance allows one to plan their chase for parking better. Highly recommend it.

This is SmoothParking I have waited for all my life! I drive into the city weekly from the suburbs and don’t want to pay for parking. SmoothParking helps me plan my trip without leaving time to drive around and around looking for legal, free street parking. Thank you!!!

The strength of SmoothParking is to learn where you are allowed to park in NYC without having to go there and check street signs. Extremely useful. Would be even better with a better looking ui.

I use SmoothParking daily! Helps me plan my parking for deliveries around NYC, especially Manhattan. It used to show a pin when I would put in an address. But now it just shows the general area, what happened?
