I'm an amateur photographer and I picked up my first copy of Street Photography at the newsstand and loved it. The images and bios inspired me. My photography has always been geared towards wildlife, landscapes, and sports, but now I'm finding myself drawn to street photography and older and abandoned buildings. I learn something new with every issue.

Street photography is it really the biggest mainstream thing you hear about but it is the biggest thing that we do every day. StreetPhotographyMagazine is a very welcome surprise and I think the ideal format. Street photography is a quick process most people don't spend a lot of time working on photos and having this as an app sort of applauds that idea. There are two things that I carry with me when I go shooting for street photography: one is my camera (duh) and two, my iPad. That means I have the magazine with me everywhere I go.

Great articles useful for beginning street shooters and the more experienced alike. Helpful tips on technique, gear selection and the psychological aspects of shooting candids of strangers. Also, the interviews help you understand how an experienced street shooter thinks when faced with various situations. Highly recommended!

StreetPhotographyMagazine reads like a great coffee table book of photographs I love just scrolling through the articles looking at images while enjoying a cup of coffee. There are some really talented photographers and beautiful photographs in here.

Despite a lot of help which I was grateful for, I was never able to get the annual subscription to work on my iPad. It works with my iPhone but not the iPad. Not at all what I intended and despite good content I won't renew.
