Basic Sounds - for toddlers Reviews

My daughter is 20 months and can’t get enough of BasicSounds. The controls and button sizes were easy for her to grasp and after watching me navigate a few times, she was independent. She has learned new sounds from playing and really gets a kick out of some of them! I bought the full version pretty quickly when I saw how much she liked it, and am pleased with the variety of sounds.

My 4-year-old son, Justin, loves BasicSounds! It is easy for him to use without assistance which saves me time when I’m trying to get things done and he wants to play a game on my phone. This has allowed him to recognize many different sounds (ex: animals, nature, etc). BasicSounds is great for his development and he thinks he’s just playing a game! The best thing about BasicSounds is how easy it is to use for younger children!

I bought BasicSounds based on the excellent sound quality that I heard when visiting BasicSounds in BasicSounds Store. When I uploaded BasicSounds after purchasing it, the volume of sound was very soft!

I went to BasicSounds developers FAQ page, where they answered a question about low volume. I followed all the suggestions, but the sound volume is still very low, even though my device volume is full on!

I now feel like I wasted my money. No response from BasicSounds developer when I emailed them. 😖

My grandson loves BasicSounds. However, the sound keeps going out or really low. I know there is an option to record your own sounds, but I don’t think that is the problem. We don’t use that option. Please fix and/or make another version that doesn’t have the sound recording option. BasicSounds has been so good in helping him learn early sounds. He is begging in speech and BasicSounds was helping him before the sound troubles started.

My five year old son love to make sounds and play pretend with BasicSounds was very fun. If he want to pretend to be an animal such as a bird or an elephant he was able too. The buttons and the game itself was super easy for him to navigate. Overall he just gets a kick out of making the sounds and being silly.

BasicSounds is perfect for my 2 year old daughter to start learning with. My favorite part about this is where you can record your own voice. My girl loves BasicSounds. It’s great for learning what animals say. It has helped her identify animals. It also invites her to learn new noises. We love it! 😍

My two year old son loves BasicSounds! It has helped me distract him or calm him down during his temper tantrums, and it has helped him learn more animal sounds. Despite being technology based, BasicSounds is worth it and very helpful. I have seen a great improvement in my child!

Nice pictures and easy to use for little kids

Purchased the full app and now cannot even open BasicSounds . Get a message to purchase 15 of their apps for $9.99 which I did and only got one app and now keep getting a message to purchase the full app for the Basic Sounds and another offer to purchase 15 of their apps for $9.99 and I already purchased both but can’t access them.

My kids love it. It’s helped both of my little ones identify the sounds and spark an interest in learning more of what BasicSounds offers.

My 16 month old loves BasicSounds, he has learned to use BasicSounds himself, and can choose sounds himself. Very user friendly, and it entertains him over and over again.

I have tried every recommended thing. My iPad plays other sound fine but nothing here. I can’t seem to figure out how to get a refund.

Granddaughter loves BasicSounds.

My granddaughter loves BasicSounds. She had been playing with it for about 3 months before I decided to get the full version. BasicSounds is one of her favorites. She is 22 months old now and can maneuver in and out of the pictures very well without assistance. If she was to get stuck she would give me the iPod to help her. I have enjoyed teaching her how to play it and making sounds and telling her what makes the sound. When we hit a picture that she knows the animal she would yell GOAT! Or DOG! It has been such a hoot playing BasicSounds

My 27 month old has a speech delay. BasicSounds has been great! I record my voice followed by his voice and then he repeats the words. He loves it! A great tool for him to hear how a word should sound followed by his attempt to make the same sound. I was surprised at how much better his language was using BasicSounds.

My grandson so enjoys BasicSounds. It's his favorite of all his apps on my iPad & iPhone. When the little red balloon pops he laughs & laughs and then taps it again. He's learned so many new sounds and can identify the images as well. The pictures, animations and sounds are wonderful and entertaining.

My 14 month old as been loving BasicSounds since he was 11 months. I tried BasicSounds for a month as a free trial before I bought the full version. Best investment and convenient. I love that I can download it to all my phones & iPads with one single purchase.

My 2.5yr old daughter loves BasicSounds. We have fun going through all the animals and objects and recording our voices. It's great entertainment for her! Highly recommend to all parents.

My 2 yr. old grandson is considered legally blind. He can see something but we don't how well. He is going to have to rely on his hearing a lot & these sounds are right on! He loves it!! Thank you.

My early intervention kids love it. When I put my iPad down, the little ones always find BasicSounds and get a kick out of it.
