With DrumKick installed on two iOS devices, such as an iPad and an iPhone, you can use the iPhone as a Bluetooth remote to play the kick drum with your foot! It also works with two iPhones or iPod touches.
Playing the virtual kick drum pedal is achieved by inserting the iPhone (upside down) into a snug fitness band that's wrapped around your ankle, or the front tube of your relatively clean crew sock.
Tap your toes with your heel down, and the iPhone's accelerometer will trigger the kick drum sound on the iPad via Bluetooth.
• Play the kick drum sound with your foot, using a second iOS device via standard Bluetooth connection.
Requires the Audiobus app, iOS 8.3 +, and a Bluetooth LE-enabled iOS device, such as an iPad 3, iPhone 4S & higher.

This is an awesome app to use when you're traveling or chilling and decide, "I want to make some killer beats and grooves." I love the 3D cymbal option on it and also how you can change the pitch, volume, and pan. The one thing I would personally enjoy in future updates, is if you give us the ability to switch the kit around and possibly add more drums or different percussive instruments to the mix! But as for now, great job and great app!

I have played most all drum simulators, and this one not only rite now , but guaranteed in the near future is hands down, lightyears advanced in many ways, if you are a drummer or an avid player of these simulators than you will know what I mean. Love the intuitiveness of playing the drums on this. Sounds great (put it through an external speaker; you’ll see what I mean!) and the look and feel are great too.
Also, it’s way easier than dragging a full kit with me wherever I go.

I love that there's a tunable cowbell. My kids love it, too. this app is a lot of fun. No more worrying about my neighbors when we play the drums at night. :)

If you're a drummer or a tapping musician, you owe it to yourself to get this app. It sounds great, is a joy to play, and has MIDI and Audiobus support to suit your needs. I highly recommend DrumKick!

I like a lot DrumKick, Im a drummer, the sounds are great but need more options, like add more kits, an option to change each sound and build your own kits and save it, an option to play background tracks like drumless, a record option and maybe an option to add your own kits sounds, there is an drum app call igog in the appstore, DrumKick have some of the option I mention here, is very old but have a lot of potencial, if you update DrumKick with some of this features maybe will become the best drum app ever. Sorry for my bad English.

It drains battery in background.
iPhone kick doesn’t sync, you cannot play at all.

DrumKick is decent. I think it deserves 3.5-4 stars. The samples should have more variation and should change with velocity like vDrums if possible. Also, when using another device for the kick, it is too unresponsive and too much latency is present. Very cool idea but not very reliable. If it were possible to fix these then I'd give 5 stars easy. Good job and I look forward to future updates.

Drums sound great, but what's up with the kick ??? Been messing with this thing till I'm ready to make a frisbee out of my iPad, everybody thinks I'm nuts. It just don't work,shows the arrow screen but nothing's happens,oh well on to something else.

Pretty good sounds. Great layout for high hat (since you play with right hand). Haven't tried remote kick trigger, but having fun goofing on main app.
This is for live performance. No recording or building up beats. I wouldn't mind some way to use this as MIDI triggering for different sounds one day (audiobus?) but it does what it says now and does it well.

The attention to detail in this is terrific. The ability to use your iPhone as the kick drum is cool, but even without that feature, this is the drum app you want. Cool sounds, very responsive and lots of customization. Great work.

You could play this in a live setting, and it would sound good. If you want to make real music, check out DrumKick. It could use a couple more acoustic drum kits though.
