VinConnect has great ideas, but failed miserably at executing. It looks like ideas were put together, then given to a 15yr old to make VinConnect and website. It's slow, buggy, won't load very very often, and renders itself useless very often. When your using this to make a living, this is absolutely unacceptable. They rushed to put it together most likely due to lack of capital, and now it rarely works. And it needs to work at every point to be in this business. Zero stars, build it back from scratch. Until then it is a sham.

VinConnect is absolutely terrible. Constantly crashes, logs me out, gives me errors, etc. my favorite part of it all is when you go to send an email to customer support through VinConnect (when it works), they didn’t put a “SEND” button! It’s like VinSolutions doesn’t want to fix their problems as long as they’re collecting dollars from your dealership.
If I had a say I’d dump this joke of a system.

VinConnect is almost completely pointless. The full site is functional on almost every browser. I had hoped to use this for notifications, at the very least, since I’m a BDC manager and not always sitting at my desk when a lead arrives. Forget it. Even if you leave VinConnect open at all times, the notifications reset and get cleared out.

A big advantage of VinConnect is knowing when you’re being skated or your customers are being changed. The new update turns off notifications after a short time, so unless you check every day that the notifications are turned on, you don’t receive anything.

If you take photos on your phone to upload into vin. Do not update to newest iPhone software. Once you do. The phone will not allow vin app to access the photos. It will go from take new or access screen and completely close VinConnect . Trying to get tech support.

I guess VinConnect if going away so this doesn’t matter, sadly it’s replacement, which is already live is actually worse if you are a manager.
You can’t see appts for the next day so that you can prepare yourself and your team. You can’t see sold-pending deals.
Sometimes you can’t reply to people or see comments.

Title say it all. Works only about 20% of the time. For the amount of money Cox Automotive charges dealers, capital is obviously not a problem. For people like me that can’t always be at a desk to use the website, this is completely unacceptable. Needs a complete rebuild!

This CRM was presented as a simple system that is easy to use but It is the complete opposite! They have updates everyday with unnecessary features which adds tasks that have to be completed. This system is NOT for a high volume dealer.

When using click to call. It won’t let me disconnect call. I deleted app and downloading again. I wish there was a simpler way to have all your customers on one page from day one to day 30. Simpler would be better. VinConnect for management works great. But for employee there is way too many filters that don’t help sell cars, just restrictions.

VinConnect is really helpful with scanning vin # and pushing to Vauto and scanning driver licenses, but why is it that the notifications turn themselves off? I would like to know when another salesperson takes my customers and my money! Plz fix

I gave 3 stars because it works as I need it but it’s very outdated looks like it belongs on a tablet, I want to be a clean cut look and up to date like the one on the computer

The only complaint I have is the inability to add more then one vehicle to a customer. If I've got a customer interested in two or more units. I can't add them from the mobile app which is very inconvenient. Also can't scan a customers VIN on their trade in to get quick info on their vehicle... which would really be a nice addition. Only works on owned inventory.

Easy add of customer with ID Scan and manager' scan see added customers from Dashboard in CRM & takes a lot of busy work away. Access all inventory and even add trades and notes on the fly. Love it.
