Why would would apple allow the developer to take away features? Will the editing function become an "in app purchase" that I'll have to pay for again?

I looked at a number of gnatt apps before spending 9.99 on this one... Bummer. Can't access any resources which is the point of any PM tool... My bad. Wasted my money here. iPhone 6....

I just built a 3 month production campaign gantt chart on the iPad xPlan App. I have a good understanding of what this is capable of.
Glitchy Things:
- Bottom most tasks is not able to be moved up into another process.
- With larger Gantt charts tasks, milestones, and links start disappearing. They are still there. They just aren't viewable without a project reload.
- Really needs the ability to add an item anywhere in the chart. Currently I have to add a task and press then drag it all the way up the list to where I need it. Total time waster.
- Seems to hang when moving and resizing a task.
Things Missing:
- Needs a syncing feature. Really really badly needs sync. iCloud and Dropbox
would be amazing.
- Needs iOS 7 makeover. Some of the glitchy aspects are due to the lack of and update. Example: When the on screen menu comes up a blurry transparent iOS style accidentally appears behind it. I say accidentally because it doesn't look like it should be there. It looks like a block.
- A feature that translates tasks and milestones to a specified calendar on the device or google calendar. So much easier to share the dates with a group.
- A much better, more thought out, projects start page (landing page). Better UI

xPlanPocket works better on the iMac than the Touch 4G. The problem is the iPhone app doesn't allow managing projects which sync with the iMac app version. (Probably Apple's fault to be fair. Tech support has explained why after my first post.) Fixing the task dates inside the project is a bit frustrating. The radio box language doesn't make much sense to me. Each Task requires me to I readjust the dates to make them stick in a project. Could be user error or something to fix in the future. Tech support has been helpful and prompt.

Overly bright task editing screen. The calendar's days are way too small, while the time selection is double the size of the entire calendar. Other than that it works great and seems quicker.
