Shame that Funny Times hooked up with this app developer

2024-11-17

FunnyTimes is hot garbage—skip it and just order the print edition. Scrolling through the pages is finicky, and requires using pinch to zoom for every single pages. No integration with Apple News, doesn’t work with iPad in landscape mode.

Horrible customer service

2024-11-17

Will never order another mag or any media handled by these people. I will snail mail, which will be more reliable and quicker than FunnyTimes. provides.

Don’t

2024-11-17

As others have said, FunnyTimes is finicky, customer service is awful and the print is too small. App is a big mistake. Don’t do it

Finally!

The content remains as fun as ever, but lately the only way I have been able to get the latest issue is to delete FunnyTimes , download it again, and log in. Also seems to log me out a lot recently.

Not "all the content" of the hard copy

2024-11-17

I've enjoyed Funny Times for many years and was happy to see it had an iPad edition. Not happy that it is separate from the magazine subscription. However, I decided the IPad version was more convenient since I travel a lot and the magazine is more like a newspaper. Since the summary stated it had "the same great content", I ordered it. The quality was so-so, not as crisp as other iPad publications I get. The page starts out blurry and then focuses. As for the content, it was good, except it didn't include the Harper's Index, which is one of my favorite features in the publication. When I wrote to a Funny Times, they acknowledged this. However, they couldn't cancel my subscription. I had to go through Apple and their "all sales are final" policy. Need to change the description to "most of the great content".

Great Job Funny Times

2024-11-17

Love it Love it Love it! Very usable and well laid out issue that reads just like the paper version of Funny Times and with all of the usual suspects (Dave Barry, Matt Wuerker, Andy Singer, etc). I got this in addition to our paper sub so that I would be able to keep all of the back issues virtually (to read on the train to work) in one place and lend the physical paper out to friends! This is a fantastic new way to read my favorite funny paper but it is no replacement for the paper sub for me-- there's nothing quite like feeling that paper issue on nice grayish recycled newsprint between your fingers. For those of you who are not yet familiar with the glory of The Funny Times FunnyTimes is a great chance to buy an issue to see for yourself. :)

Saved My Sanity

2024-11-17

The Funny Times mag/newspaper saves my sanity every month when it arrives, and now there is a Digital edition! I can change pages with a simple swipe of my Digit!
The second-best thing about this is that it reassures you that you are not the only one who thinks that a lot of the world is insane, but there are a few people that have the gift of Common Non-sense like you do. The best thing about this are the LOL moments in every edition. The Best Medicine indeed. Thank You Funny Times!

Big Up

2024-11-17

Soooo stoked Funny Times is here in FunnyTimes Store! Funny Times is the awesomest thing ever (for a liberal) and ill subscribe forever without hesitation. Funny Times, the Onion and the Daily Show are the only news you need. This subscription is worth every cent, just commit and show the love already. But hey FT, where is the Harper's Index?? It didn't make it in this publication? Oh well, no biggie you rock my world anyway. Big up!

We are living in Funny Times!

Glad to see this publication make it to my iPad! The cartoons make me LOL.

Now I can share my printed version and still have my own copy.

I was just in Washington D.C. and visited the Newseum. They should have this on display in their section about the campaign! Right next to John Stewart and the other National Treasures of humor.

Great cartoon discovery

I need something to keep my spirits up on the long commute and who cares if people think I'm crazy laughing to myself on the train. App is easy to navigate and the cartoons look great. It even gets my teenage daugher to laugh.

Funny Times for Modern Times

2024-11-17

A friend recommended The Funny Times to me a while ago, and I was happy to see they've developed an app for that. The articles are hilarious and the cartoons are crisply rendered by clean, simple, and intuitive navigation. Well done, FT!

I'm so excited that Funny Times is finally available on my iPad! Way to go, FT. This paper has helped me laugh my way through a mangled political landscape for years and years. I love the cartoons most of all!

Hallelujah!

I've been waiting for the e-version forever.. Love it! Can enlarge to see detail, flows smoothly, who knew they could improve a perfect product? THANK YOU, FUNNY TIMES!

Congratulations!

Finally. I've been waiting for FunnyTimes. I love the funny times newspaper but I'm so glad I can now read it on my iPad.
