Illini Bus for CUMTD Reviews

This was the first bus app that I used and I thought it was great! But you’ll soon find that there are other similar apps that offer more features like probably real-time bus locations, which is a game changer.

IlliniBus is alright but when I enter a destination into trip planner IlliniBus crashes.

Ever since the last update, the “favorite” tab became totally unusable. Users cannot access information of pre stored stations

The trip planner function doesn’t work. I put in my starting point and destination and nothing happens when I hit the route button.

It would be the perfect app if it weren’t constantly not working. It only loads 50% of the time.

Bus times are not always accurate. Missed a presentation because of it.

IlliniBus seems I use the same information that other bus apps in the area do, but it is much faster in stop queries and just overall. UI is also much cleaner and clearer than other like apps. I have 4 apps for busses in the C-U area and this is by far my favorite.

Latest version added indicator of where the bus is on the route. Just click the bus item in the listing for a stop. Now I can figure out if bus A will arrive in time to get me on bus B, or I need to hurry to the stop for bus B. Great Feature!!

IlliniBus saved my life!!!! Almost missed my final if I didn't use IlliniBus. Thought there are some server errors once in a while, but once those are fixed, this would be a really good app for uiuc students.

I have yet to see how accurate the buses are on IlliniBus, but this new update has erased one of the best functionalities. The ability to locate different buildings. I.e. If you need to find a building for a test or something it'll tell you where to go rather than make you look up where you need to go elsewhere. Please bring back that feature.

The last month or so, many routes have simply not shown. Last week, my two most commonly routes did not show at their locations. As of this week, IlliniBus crashes every tome after opening when attempting to load a page. I guess it’s past its prime and time to delete IlliniBus...

I completely recommend IlliniBus. I love how you can put in your destination and it'll tell you what bus to take!

Great when it works, but it works 20% of the time. There's always some connection error whether you're on wifi or cellular data. I've had IlliniBus on multiple phone with same issue. It's frustrating.

This is perfect for routing yourself around campus, especially if you aren't familiar with the area or bus schedule. I love using it, it's super helpful. Go Illini!!! 🔶🔷

When it actually is in sync with the real bus schedule IlliniBus is really nice, but there are times when it says a bus will come and it never shows up

It will be great to have the waiting time showing on Apple watch

The nearby stops tool usually works well as does the bus schedule. However, The trip planner regularly fails, consistently giving me errors.

Great app for clueless freshman.
