I got this app for free and still feel like I paid too much.
Essentially, it gives pictures and descriptions of espresso-based drinks. The same information is readily available over the Internet.
Other reviewers have described this app as “lazy,” and I agree. There is so much more information that could have been included. For instance, the attributes of different types of coffee beans (e.g. Arabica vs. Robusta). Or how about the characteristics of different coffees (Kenya vs. Sumatra) in terms of flavor, acidity, earthiness, etc.?
Also, I could think of a number of coffee brewing techniques not included here. I know the focus of the app is plainly on the “elite” brewing methods. But lots of people who haven’t “graduated” to Keurig still use drip machines. Some of us might still have a percolator that gets pulled out for camping trips. And then there’s a concoction known as “cowboy coffee.” Moreover, you discuss Turkish coffee. What about Greek and Arab coffees?
Lots of work is needed here.

It didn’t even mention in the flat white that it needs ristretto. There is no mention on milliliters or amounts. I like to b exact. It’s a good app but not good enough. Needs more precise amounts mentioned when it says how to make drinks. Ratio is key to getting flavor right. Sad but want my money back. :/

The demo for the Aero Press is upside down but I'm happy about it because I didn't understand how to do it that way.
Other than the espresso section this is very basic since it shows the steps of brewing but nothing about the science of different techniques, types of beans, temperature or grind. It's nice to see a simple cup brew for emergencies but it failed to address the same reason people have resorted to instant crystal types- emergency coffee needs. The demo includes powdered milk product- if anyone uses that in anything they're fouling the beverage unless it's a comfort food for them. Yes, that happens.
This is pretty much a one time use app unless you get a new brewing system. There's better ways to learn about coffee
