This offline dictionary is a great concept, with different language translation modules, as well as other word modules. However, i have found all modules to be very unreliable. Sometimes they work, sometimes they dont and i need something more reliable. Tech support needs to work on a more responsive dictionary. Due to the unreliability of several modules that i installed with this offline dictionary, i have to uninstall and try another more reliable product.

It gives you a list of many good dictionaries, but you can download only WordNet. Every other dictionary on the list fails to download. The support page is in French, with no options for other languages. It has several complaints of the same kind, with no response.

Deleted OfflineDictionaries - English synonyms - from my phone due to trashy advertisements. Was going to get the paid version but not this company, ads or not. First tried English word net. It wouldn't download to my iPhone 4s. Would have deleted it if it had the trash ads.

Limited number of words, understandable since it is off line. Crashes after downloading one dictionary. The presentation of the definitions could be cleaner, but it is ok. I would assume that the pro version would have more words and be a little more polished. For my purposes this is fine. Please fix the crashes.

It's a great app but it takes a while to download a dictionary and then you have to restart OfflineDictionaries a couple of times to make it work.

OfflineDictionaries is a great app. It works and it is very useful. It works great offline too. But the thing that bugged me is that this randomly crashes. It crashes most of the time when I clear the search bar with that x button. Please fix this random crash.

I love OfflineDictionaries: small memory footprint, doesn't require wifi or data, free . . . but it won't allow us to download wiktionary. I find that a reliable source, yet every time I try to download an error appears. If they fixed this, it gets five stars.

I have bought many apps, and wasted much money. I came across OfflineDictionaries, and was skeptical, but after I tried it excitement coursed through my veins, because this is exactly what any reader could ask for; this is a all in one dictionary. I am studying Russian, and I bought a Russian to English dictionary, but I needed an English to Russian dictionary too, but I did not want to fork over more money. I wish I had found this site sooner, because I would have saved money. However, I am content with having found OfflineDictionaries rather than to not have found it at all. OfflineDictionaries has many languages which may be at your disposal if you download this program.

This is an excellent app! Great selection of dictionaries. I wish it would search multiple dictionaries though. For example when i type in Russian, if would be nice if it automatically would select the Russian - English dictionary and vice versa. Probably harder to implement with the Latin character alphabets but it would be really excellent and take this dictionary to the next level. Maybe if you could choose two or three default dictionaries that would be searched. Anyway, great app, and a steal at only a dollar. Thanks

I love OfflineDictionaries. The best e-dictionary i've ever seen so far.
Apparently I noticed a bug in it. It stops working once a new language is added and shuts down.
Wish more languages were added: Kazakh, Turkish, Malay and others. Believe me, there is a big demand.

Good app. Helps you out a lot when there's no internet connection around. Of course not perfect comparing to internet resources but it id still much better than nothing. I am pleased.

OfflineDictionaries is very useful and easy to use. I've been using it on my iPod Touch for months, since I'm not always by WiFi when I may need a definition.
