English & French? Where??

I downloaded UmizoomiZoomIntoNumbers since it said it was in both English and French. I can’t for the life of me find where to change it to French. I went through the “contact us” process and still no answer... please don’t tell me that I just wasted money on this for no reason. App is not user friendly, freezes, and is misleading.

Does not work

I don’t think NickJr. Is supporting UmizoomiZoomIntoNumbers anymore. I bought it for my kid and it lets me hit play and then put a name in, and then there’s a white screen but no sound. I tried to reboot, and then a skip button comes up but when I hit it UmizoomiZoomIntoNumbers freezes and does nothing. Going to get a refund!

Not all games in app work :(

My kids love oomicar, but that game doesn't work.

Disappointed that there are ads in a pricy app.

In-app purchase has activities that are on show, but very limited for what is charged

Great app, but too large

UmizoomiZoomIntoNumbers is great and my daughter loves it but it's so large and takes up so much space.

Excellent app for kids and grownups

So I admit right away that I'm a huge fan of this show, but I have to say that UmizoomiZoomIntoNumbers really blew me away. I first bought it on the ipad and my kids and I both really enjoyed it (you can probably find my review on the ipad app page). So why did I buy it again for the iphone? Well, in our family we never take the ipad out of the house. But the iphone is always with us, of course. So UmizoomiZoomIntoNumbers became a true lifesaver when stuck in traffic with the kids in the carseat. Parents, you know what I'm talking about!

UmizoomiZoomIntoNumbers is pretty much the same as the ipad, which is great for the kids because they didn't need to learn anything new in order to play. I just love that it's both educational and entertaining. It's guilt-free fun for the kids (and maybe a little break for you too, moms and dads!!)

Not gonna pay!!!!!

My 3-1/2 yr old loved the first games that i purchased for $2.99. So I was excited to see an update, but I became greatly disappointed when I saw I had to pay $3.99 for 3 more games. That's stupid. If you're gonna update your program don't put a price to it. Those that purchased it in the first place should be granted free updates, even if it does enquire more games. I would have given a 4 star (and maybe a 5 if updates were free cuz there wasn't enough games to it to begin with.), but I'm gonna only give a 2 because I'm so disappointed with the price on the update. Take the price tag off, or at least lower it to $.99 for those that already have the game, and then up your price to $3.99 for those that are just purchasing the program. You will have a lot more satisfaction, in my opinion if you do.

Shame on you!

I wrote the following review a while ago. I am shocked these people continue to collect innocent peoples money with out at least fixing the race game it is teaching children incorrect info! Shame on you charging for this ap an not caring enough to make sure it works properly for your hardworking customers! Shame! RE: After completing the seconded game it said out loud that it unlocked the third game but it didn't actually unlock it. Also the racing game would be awesome for number recognition accept it keeps telling my son he got the answer wrong when in fact he got it correct. I Paid $3 for this ap which is by far the most expensive ap I have purchased yet and so far the least functional. I would think an ap of this price and is advertised on nick jr commercials would be worth the money and flawless. Please fix this ap so we the customer can get what we paid for.

It works again!

My son loves UmizoomiZoomIntoNumbers. I've been watching him use it for almost a year. Then I upgraded to ios6 it it crashed. I went back to iTunes account and found my original purchase of $2.99 and clicked on report a problem. I was not going to buy UmizoomiZoomIntoNumbers again and for a dollar more. Sent my complaint that an app should always work even if an OS changes. Didn't think I hear anything but low and behold, my original app had an upgrade to fix and its working again. My son is happy and he's counting better than ever. Now i cant understand why I can't find UmizoomiZoomIntoNumbers in my purchases section on my iPad. its baffles me.

Lock player names

Great game, my son loves playing it. The only thing that bugs me and him is as a 2.5 year old should, he likes to explore in these sort of apps so he taps EVERYTHING. He works very hard to open up the new levels but then mistakenly deletes his name and is confused as to why he has to start over and hands me the phone. I would love a way to lock his player name so that his opened levels aren't deleted mistakenly almost every time he plays it.

Can't believe I had to buy it again for the iPod touch…

I bought it for my MacBook ($10) and he seemed into so I wanted to put it on the iPod touch we handed dow to him, another $3. I would think for 10 bucks it would be on all my devices. Also on the Mac version in the balloon game UmizoomiZoomIntoNumbers messes up often. You can't drag the balloons or do some of the other things they tell you to do. Unless your child is great with a mouse, I would recommend getting it on a device with a touch screen, some of the games require actions that are too fast for a little one and a mouse. The lag is also true in the driving game.

My kids love it!

We've had it for about a week now and both my kids (2.5 and 3.5) are using it consistently. My son likes the "drive" feature in the race game. He also likes that he can view his badges and set goals to fill the board up. My only complaint is that I would have liked to see more pattern and shape recognition.

Overrides mute switch

Why would you provision an app to override the mute switch setting, yet NOT include a provision to defeat the override? Categorically ridiculous! Every app should respect the mute switch or at the very least have an option to respect it.

This is a fun app and my son loves it, I'm really puzzled why this change was implemented in this revision. It seems completely superfluous and unnecessary. What I am sure of however are the times when a situation would come up that has required me to reach over and flip the mute switch. Option gone. Please fix this!

No complaints

Despite all the negative reviews, I ended up buying UmizoomiZoomIntoNumbers for my 2 1/2 year old daughter who just loves the show. I actually thought it is pretty decent, maybe a little overpriced for what you get but they are good games. One game even introduced my daughter to basic addition and subtraction. Ive had it for about a month now, It's never glitched on me, and my daughter loves it. Very happy with my purchase.

My daughter loves this game.

I am not sure why others aren't happy with this game. As a parent and a teacher, I think it is awesome. My daughter is 4 and this game stretches her. She made it through the 1-6 numbers fairly quickly but then it got harder and added dice which she found to be challenging. She got the key to Omi City but then it kept going. Love how it works on conceptual first and then abstract and problem solving.

frustrated

My 4 yr old sone has been unable to unlock anything but the first 3 games despite the fact that he has played, and gotten perfect scores on, each of the 3 many times. Does anyone know how to get in touch with tech support? The link above this which says "If you need support, please visit Team Umizoomi...." only takes me to the nick jr website..there is NOTHING about contacting tech support on that page.

Loves Team Umizoomi

My 2 1/2 year old son LOVES Team Umizoomi and he's totally obsessed with this game!

My only complaint is that I'd like to manage players differently. My son keeps adding and deleting new players so he is always losing his rewards. I wish there was a way to lock the player list after you've added each child. It would make my life just that much easier.

Oh and I'd like to add that UmizoomiZoomIntoNumbers totally does work with iPod 3rd generation. I upgraded to iOS 5 before I downloaded it, maybe that's what's giving people issues...?
