SalesVu POS for iPhone Reviews

SalesVuPOS looks horrible. It looks like old iOS 6. This needs to be fixed.

SalesVuPOS worked great until recently when they introduced a monthly fee to be able to use it

I tested multiple solutions and this one came on top. I needed credit card processing app that come with free reader and I use anywhere I want, for my mobile business.

Important features were cloud based point of sales system and encryption that was based on credit card reader an not only on the phone (so no hacker can steal credit card numbers from my phone). This was the only app that satisfied those requirements. I can log into the web site and create list of services and prices and if I need to customize on site - I can always do it in the iPhone app - but don't have to type everything on the spot - brilliant! Makes the whole servicing experience much quicker and more enjoyable for the customers. I think I cut check-out time at least 50% in comparison with Square (that I also tested), which cuts the line and helps me process more customers and faster.

Great addition were - absolutely the lowest flat rate I could find (for key in and swipe) and integration with Facebook, that helps me spread the word about the business. Hope this helps other folks looking to resolve similar problems and are in doubt between this and other apps.

SalesVu has made my life so much better. I'm a professional who is always on the road. I don't have time to sit in the office and manage my business finances. SalesVuPOS has been the perfect tool for me. Their features are the most comprehensive of all the other mobile payment solutions out there. From online ordering, barcode scanning and invoicing to the multiple open orders and Facebook integration, SalesVuPOS seems to have everything I need.

The rates offered by this company are very competitive and, from my research, beats the competition. SalesVu has everything the other companies offer including the free swiper. This is an awesome thing to have when I meet clients. My iPhone is my life and to have this tool available is absolutely fantastic.

Not only am I able to manage my credit card sales, I'm also able to track my cash and check transactions as well. This is more than just a mobile payment device, it's a bookkeepers dream. My accountant loves the way everything works together. It saves her time and me money. I would recommend this to anyone who does business on the go.

This is usefulness in a fantastic package. If you are looking for a point-of-sale and mobile payment app for iPad and iPhone then you need look no further. You also get a free credit card reader to swipe credit cards directly from your device. Syncing is via the cloud with a fantastic interface where you can view and track reports, inventory and more. It syncs with your device every few minutes so everything is perfectly up-to-date. I've used square but found this so much better. What I like with SalesVu is the absolute transparency in their dealings. Their rates are fixed and there are no surprises. I like the sturdiness of the reader provided and SalesVuPOS interface is functional and easy to use. 5 stars from a very happy customer.

I own a small business and pursued SalesVu for my mobile payment company due to their rates and ratings. However, I found them to be a very difficult and inflexible company to deal with. The application process was tedious and the amount of personal and private information that SalesVu wanted was unreasonable. I wasted more than an entire day of my time filling out applications, attaching additional statements and requirements, and in the end, the sales rep was in a hurry to get off of the phone.

The next morning my business partner and I went online and took less than a half hour to be completely set up and ready to go with Square Up. If your time is worth something, and you want to retain your personal finance and IRS information for your own protection, you should avoid the brain damage of spending hours and hours trying to put together a deal with SalesVu.

Our business is actually happy that SalesVu was so difficult, because we went with Square Up and are very satisfied.

Wow, what a waste of time. I have to wonder how many of the positive reviews are real.

I recently hit the Square $2100/wk in keyed in transactions ceiling and turned to salesvu. They strung me along for days, asked for two years of tax returns, then told me my vacation rental business is "not supported as a line of business with our company". Would have been nice if they had mentioned that before wasting hours of my time! I'm a licensed Realtor Broker working for a company that has been in business 15 years. I have online listings of my rentals with 5 star reviews. I've never had a problem with a rental.

Maybe SalesVuPOS is great if you can get though the lengthly application and review process and are lucky enough to get accepted. But for vacation rental business don't waste your time - pick square. They raised my ceiling by $1000 within two days so I'm back with them.

They say 2.7 % what is not true. After you receive the first statement you will notice extra small fees , when you add all the fees you will be paying around 3.1% and I have all my statements to prove this. They say they will return my money etc , after 1 month nothing happen yet. If you want to accept Amex,Amex will be charging around 3.1% per transaction, and on top of that they will charge $7.50 monthly. This guys have no business with the actual credit card processor ,they have an agreement with Mercury payments which is the real credit card processor here within SalesVuPOS. SalesVuPOS is nice, very limited but nice. If you own a real business like a restaurant invest your money on a real POS. if you have a small farmers market business this will help.

I was looking for a better mobile payment option after a bad experience with Square. I found it with SalesVu! I love being able to look at real time reports!! Also, being able to change prices and manage the inventory through the website right through SalesVuPOS are amazing features! I can also track cash, checks, and credit cards! Let alone the fact that transactions go through within a day (square is 30 days) and the transaction fee is lower than square too!! Get SaleVu now!!

I find SalesVuPOS much better than Square (which I've had many problems with). SalesVu has really helped me manage my business, it's made it very easy for me to keep track of training sessions and various payments. Salesvu has a nice, clean interface and is very easy to use. The most useful thing about SalesVuPOS is the credit card reader which really helped to streamline my business transactions. Overall, I highly recommend SalesVuPOS to help streamline and improve your business.

I had used Square before taking SalesVuPOS for a spin, but now I'm hooked! This is the perfect tool to manage point of sale transactions for your business. You can organize your transactions, view reports, and once an item is purchased, SalesVu will remove it from my inventory automatically. The modifiers help a lot. I love being able to add optional services to each item. I run SalesVuPOS on one iPhone and one iPad between three employees and online reports help me track sales

I have been using Salesvu for a year. I chose to pay extra in fees so I could have a pos system as well as credit all in one. But with the 2.4 version when clients leave a tip under the $$ side it has been turning it into a percent. Example: if someone leaves me 20 dollars it gives me 20 percent or if they give me 5 dollars it gives me 5 percent. Salesvu has been costing me money for over a month, which in turn is costing them money. I refuse to stay with a company that does nothing when I call and email repeatedly with pictures that its doing this and they do nothing. You will lose my business as soon as I find a new app to replace you. Thank you for showing me what kind of business you really are. And FYI I never write reviews, this is how " over this" issue I am.

This entire system is so well thought out, this is the best POS system available for mobile devices. You can manage all inventory, prices, coupons etc from one website and all your mobile devices sync and act as one terminal. Aggregated reports make multiple locations or cashiers easy to manage with fully consolidated reporting, not just a one station shop like the competitors. Thought I would have to pay more for the features, but rates are better then the rest with more functionality!

This is the easiest to use sales solution on market! Trust me I would know because I've tried them all. The best things about SalesVuPOS: lowest rates, you can email customers a receipt, track inventory and everything else online, very secure card reader that encrypts the CC number, the card reader itself is very sturdy, intuitive interface, and its free! Salesvu has made my life a lot easier, especially dealing with Square and others, makes my business run much smoother and customers are happy. Thank you so much!

By far the best. I have a small computer shop and we tried Square but we had way more transactions each month than Square would allow and with multiple workers checking people out, we needed this program and it works perfectly. I mean Square is a good program but SalesVu is so much better for all of the work I do, I am so happy someone finally came out with a better version of square.

I own a small business selling pet toys and supplies and salesvu has changed the way I interact with my customers. They just swipe their credit card and I can receive the payment instantly. Plus, the rate they charge is lower than square's!! Overall, SalesVuPOS is very easy to use and things couldn't be simpler. Definitely recommend this over square. The new update fixed the slowness issues I was experiencing, great!

If you're looking to get this for individual use, don't waste your time. I signed up to use this to sell merch for my band (Face The Throne) and they called me and knew that I only needed it to sell shirts and other merch when - every once in a while - the fan doesn't have cash. I needed a business account and business checks which I obviously don't have. It seems great for small businesses, but for individual use, trust me. Don't waste your time and just go with Square. I got my Square card reader in one business day, didn't have to get a business account set up with them or have any business checks.

TL;DR Great for small businesses. Terrible for individual use. Go with Square for individual use.

I had square but after i looked through this i decided to try it owning a small buisness is hard and this is helpful and lives up to its word. I personally couldn't ask for anything better especially because its FREE! It is by far the best point of mobile pay and sale app out there. They also give you a free card reader. Never try anything else it just doesn't get better than salesvu!

SalesVu's new v2.4 release includes nice improvements to the software. Like the new payment screen and larger tip screen. Our business also benefits from using the Recurring Billing and Invoicing features. We don't use gift cards, but I'm sure other businesses will appreciate tracking them along with their cash and checks. Accounting is happy about the connection to Quickbooks.

I have used SalesVu to run my meetups and PR workshops for 2 years now and love what it's allowed me to do. I can swipe credit cards with its stable swipe attachment (unlike other brands) and send out receipts on the spot. I have also started using SalesVu to handle my monthly billing for my PR consulting business. It's been a huge asset for me in convenience, functionality and ease of use. I highly recommend it!
