Nice but....

This magazine was nice, but there are a few problems. I started downloading this on a good wifi connection at 9 am and was able to read it at 5 pm! (While it downloaded I barely used my iPad and it only seemed to make progress when I was in the 17 app.) Also I don't like it when I'm reading in portrait mode and accidentally go to landscape then back to portrait that I'm off the page I originally was on. Now the latest issue of the magazine won't even work -- It's a black screen! This happened after the last update, which you had to download in order to continue purchasing mags.

Oh, and for the people who complain, "This mag isn't free!" think of it this way: would you rather pay for the app AND magazine or just the magazine? This company has to make money --- have you ever seen it on the stand in the stores? Their sales would plummet if they gave free copies away in the app.

But on the good side I like the video integration and exclusive iPad user deals. Fix those problems and I'd rate it 5 stars.

This is getting so annoying!!!

It really PISSES me off that the developers of this app haven't fix this issue with the black screen. I really was happy when I had this app and paid for the year subscription and it work perfectly fine....until after 2 or 3 magazines that it was freezing on a page, and I was okay with that issue. What gets me furious is the fact I can't even access it cause there's just a black screen that just stays there....so thanks for making me pay for something that doesn't even work, Seventeen! If the developers of this apps makes an update that fixes the issues what other people have said it would of been 5 stars...

Subscribers can't access their issues.

I bought this thinking that, like the "wired" app, I would be able to access the issues of seventeen that I own, as I am a subscriber. I have been subscribed to seventeen for several years. However, you are only able to read the issue by buying the virtual one. So if you download this thinking that you can read your subscription on your iPad, you are wasting your time. Disappointing.
