I quickly go through apps, but I’ve had Word Alert since I got this IPad. I love this, because I can quickly here what God’s saying, this has helped me become stronger in my walk with god, WordAlert has inspired me and the verses comfort me when I’m said I’m still young, but lots of things happen and the verses in WordAlert remind me of Gods everlasting love and that there is no such thing as him leaving me, WordAlert helped me deal with bullies. Thanks so much to the creator. May God bless you very much!you don’t even know the lives you impact! I’d like to see more apps like. These. You shined light into this very dark and cruel world that needed Gods light, thanks. (I just got an iphone and downloaded it on there too:))

I’ve been on a hunt for awhile now looking for the best daily Bible verse/word apps. It took quite a few different downloads of different kinds but I ended up uninstalling them after a day because of all the crazy ads and purchases.

This one by far is the best and I do plan on sticking with this one. No ads, nothing extra, no purchases required, all just very straight forward and to the point. The daily reminders are really nice, you set a time and it sends you a notification at that specific time everyday of a Bible verse.

It’s a great way to get your daily god of word in. If you’re looking for an app like this without all the extra stuff, this is the one.

I have been using Word Alert for about two years. I love to start my day reading the Word of God. Word Alert and some other similar apps make it possible for me to have a 5-10 minute wake up time with Jesus before fixing breakfast for my husband. After he goes to work, I get into the Bible and study the Word. However, Word Alert makes it possible to have a quick moment with the Lord any time throughout the day. Are you in a hallelujah mood, in a slump or bored? Read the verse for the day again and talk to Jesus. It's a great pick me up and enhances the hallelujah moment. WordAlert is exactly what I was looking for a simple app that gives you 1 verse a day to strengthen your faith in god and Jesus and get you through the day. I love the fact that I can pick the exact time I want the verse to pop up which really helps me when I’m in a stressful situation at a certain time each day. I also love how you can star and archive your favorite verses you received to look back on them in times of need. WordAlert has truly helped me through many struggles and for anyone seeking to grow in faith this is the perfect app. Some verses come to me at the perfect time and say just the right thing as I feel stressed.

I try each day to wake up early and read my Bible then meditate on God's word. But what I want doesn't always work out. I am a devout Christian, a writer, an artist and my husband and I are in the middle of remodeling our entire house. HUGE JOB!! On the days that don't go as I planned, I set my Word Alert to give me my daily scripture early in the morning so that at least I will have that spiritual food for the day. I refer back to it off and on all day and the funny thing is that the scripture nearly always goes right along with what I am experiencing that day! But I know it's not a coincidence, it's God at work in my life!!!

I’ve had WordAlert for couple of years now and it’s been such a BLESSING that even when I’ve tried changing it to a different app, I will always come back to this one.
The verses are extremely on point. They seem to be exactly what you need to read at that precise moment.
Won’t change it again. This one is here to stay. The only thing I would’ve love, is that it would give you the option to pick the version you like. I’m more of a KJV fan. But WordAlert is here to stay.

I will like to start saying that WordAlert is just very easy to use I just like that remind me every day to be connect with the word of God :). I been using WordAlert about more than 5 years and I haven’t found any problem with it, so that is why I haven’t erased I found use for it every day :).God bless people to think on creating apps like this one because to me means people who loves God want to share the same love ❤️ to others ...

WordAlert is great! You just set the time of day you want to receive your alert and it sends you an encouraging Bible verse. Took me forever to find an app that did this! :) It's easy to use and it's exactly what I wanted. The way it works is similar to Sprinkle of Jesus, if you've ever used that, only instead of sending an encouraging message it sends an encouraging Bible verse. Sprinkle of Jesus is good too, though, if you're looking for something more along the lines of food for thought. WordAlert is for you if you're looking for something directly from the Bible.

I enjoy my coffee and the Word Alert first thing every morning. I think about what it means to me that day. The word has survived for thousands of years and has given comfort to millions of believers. I take comfort from it daily.
I value this wonderful tool that helps me to focus my day in this right direction. And I highly recommend it.

During a difficult time in my life I decided to download WordAlert. Every morning I was greeted with a new bible verse that really spoke to me, filled me with a sense of purpose, lifted me up and made me feel deeply loved by the Holy Spirit. These daily bible verses gave me the courage to face the new day knowing God was with me and there was no need to be anxious or afraid because there was nothing too big for God and he was with me always.
It’s amazing how much WordAlert helped me during the hard times and it was a happy reminder of Gods love on the good days too!

I absolutely love WordAlert! I look forward to reading my daily prayer as soon as I wake up and will read it again multiple times throughout my day. I can always relate the scriptures to my daily life. I also read them to my children and it gives us a chance to talk about it and incorporate our Lord and Savior into our hectic busy lives. I often find myself looking ahead to the next scriptures because I am excited to see the others....

I’ve been thoroughly pleased with WordAlert. The ‘reminder’ feature is really useful and displays the day’s reading on my lock screen at a time of my choosing, making it easy to start off the day with méditations on scripture. WordAlert ’s design is simple and uncluttered and allows you to simply and effectively mark and store verses that want to hang on to. I think WordAlert would benefit from an option for translation/version selection, but otherwise, I have to call WordAlert perfect.

I start my mornings with word alert’s daily Bible verses. The word of God sustains me during these troubled times when people are pitted against one another. People who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it. Hitler said the Jews were disease spreaders. Today they say the unvaccinated are disease spreaders. It would appear the past us repeating itself. I pray the Lord intervene on our behalf before it is too late and Word Alert reminds me of the prayers needed for all of us!

I wake to God’s word each day. The verses you send each morning speak to me. It is as if you know what I’m going through. I know God is speaking directly to me letting me know he’ll never leave me or forsake me. Thank you for the spoken word. It has helped me get through the lose of my son as well as many other tribulations. There are days when I open up God‘s word and feel his arms around me holding me up Thank you from the bottom of my ❤️

i downloaded this because the other app i was using for daily verses used the Old Testament. WordAlert is so easy to use and you can look back on past verses or look forward, and you can favorite verses and look back on them later. i also like that you can set an alarm too so you don’t forget to read it daily! very good app and i’d recommend it if you’re wanting an easy app to use for daily bible verses!

I was brought up Catholic in the 1950's when Latin was the ways of the Church. Since then it has changed. I enjoy the singular verses as I remember them and the Bible and Mass has much more meaning now. One a day and marking my favorites is perfect and I can go back and reflect on these for encouragement.
Thank-you for such a perfect app especially for someone like myself whom never was taught in this manner and now wants to learn. It's a huge blessing.

I enjoy WordAlert, it’s good for when I first wake in the morning. I like to read the scripture for the day before I do anything else on my phone. Also, when I’m going throughout the day and need a quick reassurance, I know I can always refer to WordAlert . I also like that I can save my fav scriptures so when I need some encouragement, I can re-read my favs and remember ALL IS WELL!

Love the no frills just Bible verse(s)! I’ve set mine to be delivered just before my wake-up alarm goes off so I can start my day with reflection. Then it’s there if I want (or need😊) to revisit it during the day. Would love to know if it covers the entire Bible in a year (or more.) Thanks for helping me add a more dependable way of staying on the right path. Sadly without WordAlert I wouldn’t read God’s word and reflect every morning, so I’m very thankful for it!

Working as a First Responder, it's easy to feel frustrated and let the stress of the profession take over. Some days are better than others.

As a Christian, I know that God is only a prayer away and this Bible verse app is the perfect pick me up. It's very user friendly.

I have yet to find a verse that doesn't end up being the best medicine for the heart and soul. It's like I'm carrying my Bible with me wherever I go.

In a world where we are constantly on our phones, I wanted the word of God to be the first thing I see in the mornings before any news or social media notifications. That's exactly what this does for me. It's scheduled to pop up on my lock screen so when I pick my phone first thing in the morning, I'm reminded of my heritage in Christ.

I love WordAlert very helpful in life . I look forward to the scriptures everyday like a kid on Christmas. This is the most used app I have . I CAN now say if I don’t pick up my bible during the day ,I read @ least one scripture. I’m a true believer so if u don’t have WordAlert you should get it or one like it. I have been using WordAlert for a long time and it has never disappointed me! I love getting the notifications daily and being able to be renewed ! I highly recommend WordAlert for anyone looking for JUST a bible verse reminder app. I absolutely adore how convenient and well-working it is. I always get my notifications on time and I love how God is constantly speaking to me through WordAlert. It’s super simple and easy to use.
