Emoji Free Reviews

Other reviewer is exactly right, this "lite" version is NOT even a working app, the instructions say to "press button below" to enable the keyboard, but it's a trick, there is no button, so most people will start pressing anything on the page (looking for said button) which will re-direct them to the paid app!
This type of trick should be ILLEGAL, and is why i have my settings set to NO purchases allowed directly from iPad.

There IS another app (by another company) which DOES enable the keyboard for free, look for the one made by "Awesomest Inc" that one worked for me for free.
This one is a non-working trick bag (NOT an app) just designed to get your $$$.

EmojiFree didn't work at first, so I deleted it. I then reinstalled, followed the recommended steps to enable it, and it still didn't come up on my text keyboard. I then turned the phone off, and let it sit for a short 30 sec to a min (reboot). When I turned the phone back on, I had the international symbol on the text keyboard. IE. FINALLY, IT'S WORKING!!!

EmojiFree is awesome though only if you enable emojoi keyboard. what u do is open EmojiFree then hold the power button to restard your devise then open settings the general the keyboards add new keyboard labled emojoi :) then when u type u use that keyboard by clicking the internation keyboard symbol(looks like globe) at the bottom of ur normal keyboard after that there is about 10x as many icons then on EmojiFree and u dont hav to copy and paste so get EmojiFree then do this:) !!!!!!!!!!! those instructions r also in the discription if you press more...

Hey on some apple products the directions don't work, ur wasting ur time this is how u so its settings/general/keyboard/add new keyboard/ tap on Emoji! Keyboard then click home go to search iPod and click globe. There are tons of different ones just slide screens over to get more.

I really enjoy EmojiFree but I just wish there was an option to have more icons. Maybe a search bar where we can type in a certain icon and get it! Kinda like clipart!!! Great stuff!!! 

Ok, I love EmojiFree, but why are people complaining? You guys are just too stupid to read the instructions. When you enable it, you have to go to the keyboard settings and choose the emoji keyboard. THEN it's enabled. I'm sorry, but that's really sad.

EmojiFree used to work perfectly for me, but I had to restore my phone (completely, not from back up) and ever since I can't get the emoji keyboard back. As I said, I used to have it working and followed the correct directions as I did originally, but it won't work. As others have said, the "enable emoji" button just links to the paid version in EmojiFree store, and it won't work-they aren't making it up, there is a legitimate issue

Dont buy any others because they are exactly the same as this free one...i looked at 50 or more and the paid are the same so get this free one,

I play restaurant story and I wanted to turn emoji into my keyboard it says go to settings > general > keyboard > languages. Then I go there it says on languages you click emoji as a language to type on your keyboard then it tricked me. No where on settings did it say anything about emoji. So now I hate EmojiFree I have to keep copying and pasting I wouldn't pay money for this ever.

Scam app. Doesn't do anything, except forward you to a paid version.

I was confused because a friend told me to download Emoji Free, and this wasn't what I expected. I think these guys are scamming users by pretending to be the other Emoji Free app.

Instead I downloaded Emoji Free by Awesomest Software, and it works without problems.

I think I am not alone in saying that it is a hit or miss with this application.. Tried countless times to load it into my phone and still the " globe" doesn't appear on my what'sapp application...

People it enables your emoji keyboard, learn to use your device or don't touch it, no problem here.

I was disappointed. I expected actual figures of items, and not lame pictures made by lining up various emoji in a row. Personally, I think the creators could put a lot more effort into EmojiFree for what they charge... I don't recommend it.

It is good but u might as well just get the full version because, when u click enable it leads u to the full version on EmojiFree store. At least that's what happened to me. So I ended up getting the full version

It's free no memory at all go to settings on iPod touch/iPad/iPhone etc. then go to general scroll down till you see keyboard then click add and it's there then click Emoji and free no space taken up just read this!!!!! Thanks

"Emoji" is a keyboard available by default on all iOS devices. You just go to General / International / Keyboards / choose to add a keyboard, and select Emoji. No one needs to download EmojiFree.

I was told by a friend to download Emoji Free, and I downloaded this one thinking it was it. Guess what? This one only works if I pay money for a paid version. I look around a bit more, and find out this is a SCAM app released with the same name as the excellent Emoji Free by Awesomest Inc.

How did Apple let these guys do this???

They come out all huge and partially cut off when you copy and paste them into texts, which is the only way to use it. Deleted this after not too long.
