TheWalkingDead is great but a month ago some guy in the reviews gave me an account and password saying that i will get free comics and when i signed on and got all the comics i was excited. but then i thought what if it was put on to my account. so i was quite worry'd but did nothing. so i thought im signed in into itunes and yet im buying things on TheWalkingDead so i could get charged. a couple of days later i get a call from my mom. she was angry with me and she wanted to know why there was a 200 doller fine on her bill. i was shocked and i thought i shouldn't have done that. so listen u guys. do not think that since you got a free account to get comics will not fine you. believe me it will. trust me. do not listen to any one that says to sign in into this account. just buy them with your own money.

----- I got a response from your support saying there is an update. I just got this yesterday and the last update was in July!!!! Please refund my money on both comics if you can not tell me or get this fixed-----I found it doesn't work for any comics (I have the darkness too). Suitably upset fix ASAP. try to start volume 1 and get two pages then I had to quit. Well now I can't open or read it. It freezes on the startup pane this is not good I just dropped my $ on this like a few other people I see. Please fix ASAP or refund my money please. Rather have this work but I can use my money for other things. P.S.it doesn't work using the image app either they are both broken and need fixed

I have been unable to download the comic since April of this year, and yet they continue to charge me $2.99. I've contacted Apple support and they directed me to the developer website. I've tried multiple times to complete the Contact Us form on the developer website, only to have it fail every time. I waited months for it to get fixed, figuring there would eventually be an update, yet that has never come. I've uninstalled and reinstalled TheWalkingDead multiple times today and am now in an infinite error loop. Right after I submit this I will be canceling my subscription. I'd love to get my money back, but I doubt that will happen.

I want to preface this by saying how great the Walking Dead comics are. I also appreciate the experience that can only be found by reading the comic in TheWalkingDead . What I don't like, is being forced to scroll down the page of comics that you can purchase, to hunt for the comics you have already purchased. There should be a tab at the bottom of the page with "Comics" and "Settings" called "Library" or something similar, so that you don't have to hunt for them. That would make things much easier, and if the developer can fix this, i'll change my rating to 5 stars.

I love TheWalkingDead. The walking dead comic is my first digital comic and it has been a great read so far. However a few weeks ago I downloaded TheWalkingDead for my iPhone. I normally have read it on my computer. But somehow TheWalkingDead charged me twice for a comic I Already owned. To play it safe, I went to the website And purchased a collection and then went to TheWalkingDead to download on my phone. The issue was available to download on my phone through my purchased list. However, TheWalkingDead still asked me to buy the comic for $9.99. I clicked on the price and then canceled the prompt to pay for the comic again! Only after that was TheWalkingDead available to download without paying for it again.

I got TheWalkingDead and purchased the first volume. Everything works well. I like TheWalkingDead opposed to the ibook format because you can go from page to frame mode easily; however, the app vs. ibook price is pretty much the same. That said, I think I would rather invest my money into the hard copy formats. They are pretty much the same price per volume (sometimes cheaper if you shop around). With the hard copy you retain some value once you are done reading. You can share it with a friend, re-sell it or keep it as a collector's item. Granted, convenience comes with an ipad, but it is hefty price to pay in my opinion.

Some background on me; I'm 30 years old and this is the first comic book I've ever read. It's not because it's a newly aquired skill or because I dislike reading, on average I read approximately 15-20 books a year. Other than "Zombieland" and "Shaun of the Dead" I never really cared much for the "zombie" genre. In a nutshell, I'm not a big fan of comics or zombies. I enjoyed the "Walking Dead" television series and kept hearing about how good the comic is, so I finally decided to check it out via: iphone app.
With that said, this is one of the most interesting, best written, in-depth storlines I've ever read and/or watched. I'm absolutely hooked, I've read issues 1-30 (volumes 1-5) in 2 days. For those that can relate: remember how hooked you were on "Lost", this comic is like that. Never in a million years would I have thought that one of the best things I've ever read was a comic.
Anyways, I recomend it to anyone. And as far as TheWalkingDead itself, it works perfectly fine on my iphone 4.

I don't know how TheWalkingDead has anything less than 4 stars. More convenient than driving to the store to buy the newest comic, the next comic is available to buy the morning of its release. Prices are fair given the popularity of the show and the amazing artwork that goes into each comic. I don't know where complaints come from as far as app crashes. I've been using TheWalkingDead for 9 months and it hasn't crashed once. If you're a huge fan of the show and looking to casually read the comic, this is the perfect app for you. My only pet peeve is that they don't have the Rise of The Governor book available.

This is a great app, and all of us tight wads who used Fguzman97 were really grateful, but guys, come on! All of you idiots who kept giving out his info and thanking him ruined it for everyone! It was written on here once, so not everyone needs to type it back out. We can all see it. And OBVIOUSLY if you keep talking about it, TheWalkingDead makers are going to catch on. DON'T keep talking about it. You ruined it for us all. That was stupid. Thanks, tards. If anyone replaces what we have lost, don't talk about it! You'll just get that account deleted. Get the info, read, and NEVER post about it. No thank you's or anything. Don't help us get caught. Be smart.

This is perfect for fans who don't live near a comic book store and want each issue the day it's released. 2-3 dollars an issue is a fair price. Even the volumes are fair prices.

What a great way to read the walking dead comics on my iPad. What's also great is if I'm on the go I can also read the comics on my iPhone 4. The interactive display is great any makes it like a movie with the transitions from frame to frame. I've read the entire series now and am waiting for the next issue to be available through TheWalkingDead... I've never had a single problem with TheWalkingDead

Sad to see Fguzmans account ended but so very thankful to him for sharing access. I read all 94 available issues in three days and absolutely loved them. Was hoping to find a way to contribute to Fguzmans collection, only to see his account closed, but please don't let it mean he lost all his comics!
