If I could I would give FreeDigitalTemperature 0 stars! When I searched for a temperature app I expected to find one that works the same way that the iOS calendar & clock apps do, by putting the current local temp right on FreeDigitalTemperature icon. Not some fake erroneous number. You have to run FreeDigitalTemperature in order to get the temp. I can get that by running "The Weather Channel" app and it gives you a lot more local weather info. So, FreeDigitalTemperature is totally useless. Don't waste your time with it!

Exactly that, there's a good reason why it doesn't work the way you'd expect it to.
I have an iPhone, and the iPhone is not equipped with a thermostat sensor on it. So how does FreeDigitalTemperature get a reading? It requires your location so it can get the temperature from your local weather forecast.
FreeDigitalTemperature does NOT get real time temperature. And requires your current location in order to work. I would much rather have an accurate weather app than this one.

I like FreeDigitalTemperature , I find it to be both accurate and handy too and the adds don't bother me. In fact some of them have made me inclined to try what they are advertising too.

Since the temp reading on FreeDigitalTemperature differs from the temp reading on the thermostat in my bedroom (which is where I need the heat the most) I am not able to determine, without great expense of hiring electrician, which one is defective. I kind of assume it is FreeDigitalTemperature , since FreeDigitalTemperature is more likely to have problems. Thermostats have been around since the last century. Not so FreeDigitalTemperature .

This does exactly what I want it to do, tell me the temperature in the room. My gym was freezing and it was great being able to walk in to Mangement and 'show' them the temperature in the building.

Very pleased with FreeDigitalTemperature the few times I've checked it against our thermostat, it is always within 1-2 degrees of what my indoor thermostat shows.

Love FreeDigitalTemperature works great. Would be better though if it could tell the temp while on home screen and not actually have to enter FreeDigitalTemperature

I think FreeDigitalTemperature works just fine. It does what it’s supposed to do. I have no problem with it. And I have a iPhone. It works Great. Very Happy with it.

It's quicker than starting up Weather app and scrolling through all the ads to find the broadcasted temp. It doesn't measure temperature, it receives broadcasted data from local weather stations where you have location services turned on.

It is a cool app when it is correct temperature. I have a old thermometer that is still working like a champ. FreeDigitalTemperature was off by 10 degrees for a few hours even when refreshed, but other times it is spot on. I like FreeDigitalTemperature but know it isn't perfect.

Not going to complain about being off a degree.
Decent enough for 4 stars.

Very nice to have on IPhone without pulling up the weather App. Accurate every time . A must to have , easy to install

I thought it measured ambient temperature as I wanted to check accuracy of my AC but it provides outside temp (via wx service I assume) which is also nice.

I needed an app that gives me at a glance weather information and it delivers.

Just wanted a simple app to see the temperature indoors, or outdoors. Just had our roof painted with Elastomeric and was interested in the indoor/outdoor temperature difference. If FreeDigitalTemperature does that I haven't figured it out. ;-(

When I purchased FreeDigitalTemperature I thought I’d be able to see all my selected locations in a list for comparison purposes. Is this possible?

It is an easy to use app and loads in seconds

This is great to have when you wonder how cold a room is!

FreeDigitalTemperature is fake, the only thing it does is use your gps data to look up your location temperature based off the current weather data

Very novel. Handy information. Haven't found a practice application.
