I’ve been using this for years and gave it 5 stars and love it. A few days ago it failed. Each section ( bugs, diseases etc ) opened but NO content appeared. Nothing. I went to app store to get it again but it showed I still have it. It went from priceless to useless!

Useful and well organized app. I would like to see some updates such as ICD 10… long promised in the body of InfectiousDiseaseCompendium , but have yet to arrive. Makes me wonder if the information inside InfectiousDiseaseCompendium is up-to-date as well. Still completely worth the paltry little money being charged for it.

Has what you need, updated. I do wish InfectiousDiseaseCompendium icon was updated to reflect new iOS so it would look nice on my home page, but I guess you can only hope for so much. Best antibiotic guide app otherwise.

Finally, the infectious disease guide that I have been waiting for. Great organization, up to date information and best of all, context, not just lists. This is a great guide and allows me to educate myself appropriately before getting an ID consult! Thank you, Mark, for doing the heavy lifting. Where do you find the time?

I’ve been listening to Mark Crislip’s ID podcasts for years and years. I’m an ED doc and have learned a ton of ID from Mark, including an overall philosophical approach to ID patients. I refer to InfectiousDiseaseCompendium often. It’s an absolute steal at $5.99. And I love that Mark’s irreverence comes through in InfectiousDiseaseCompendium, just like it does in his podcasts.

Reading the rants section paid off the 6 dollars I spent on InfectiousDiseaseCompendium! I know that part is not what I am primarily meant to review but it is so good that I could not resist. InfectiousDiseaseCompendium otherwise appears helpful so far. I love author's puscast podcast. I'm not an ID doctor but both these resources are pretty helpful and InfectiousDiseaseCompendium is easy to navigate.

I really enjoy InfectiousDiseaseCompendium . I find the information helpful and practical. I am a family doctor and educator. I share the bits of wisdom with my residents all the time. For instance, just this morning on rounds, I reminded them that all that glitters is not gold, and all legs that are red, hot and swollen are not cellulitis.
Thanks for providing such a great resource!

Great resource, accurate, funny and easy to search. I use InfectiousDiseaseCompendium on a weekly basis to either study from or for a clinical reference. I also encourage Med students I work with to get InfectiousDiseaseCompendium. Source: ED doctor and wannabe ID doctor.

Longtime fan of M. crislip podcasts, both Puscast and Quackcast. The format of this compendium maximizes usefulness and minimizes superfluous info. Extremely useful for residents and would recommend to any intern. I was pleasantly surprised that he inserts his personality and humor into it as well.

I'm an FNP in internal medicine. Love InfectiousDiseaseCompendium. Not the "textbook" answers that aren't really helpful but the "real life practice" answers I need! Like having a mentor in ID I can call up for advice. Thank you for InfectiousDiseaseCompendium.

I'm an ID doc and also a Hospitalist; InfectiousDiseaseCompendium is good enough that I rarely have to whip out my Sanford Guide. Crislip is the best; check his podcasts too!

Works like a gem. Easy to find what I'm looking for and has links to pubmed references.

5 stars because InfectiousDiseaseCompendium is an amazing ID app, unparalleled, but I did a file update this morning and it deleted EVERYTHING. HELP.

Especially like the rants and raves, they play to the art of medicine in a way that others don't.
