I have been very excited with Airstrip Ob on my phone and being able to access it at any time. As an Ob/Gyn we are by nature multi-taskers, seeing patients in the office, while delivering patients and surgeries all likely in the same day. Previously while performing on of my other duties such as seeing patients in the office i would have relied on the nurse to contact me if the there were any issues with a strip or intermittently, between tasks, check on my office computer. However the continuous accessability has enabled me to more times than not notice any issues on a strip before the nurse even has a chance to page me. This easy accessabilty has made my practice more efficient, often times with the feature of checking the latest exam i can be on L&D ready to deliver a patient before the nurse has had the opportunity to notify me of their latest exam.

I have been using Airstrip OB on a Windows Mobile Smartphone since it came out. I like (and need) it so much that I carry 2 phones, my iPhone for everything and a Samsung i760 solely for using Airstrip OB. The Phone version surpasses the Windows version by a mile. There is a more organized interface, the graphics are much clearer, and the utility is increased. In my opinion, this is an absolute must for obstetricians. If you can spend your day in labor in delivery, you may not need this program, but if you are like the rest of us, you cannot defend not having the ability to monitor fetal strips anywhere, anytime. The potential for academics is obvious. Thank you Airstrip for bringing your ingenuity to the iPhone.

Hallelujah! This is like a dream come true! The ability for me to monitor my patients remotely is an absolute God Send! I can see the fetal strip (I would say in almost more detail than in L&D) with the ability to use finger swipe gestures to move the strip back & forth. Being able to see a list of cervical exams and times and easily review vitals is so great -- I can't even get that easily when I am on the unit in the hospital! The patient list even shows me which patients are mine and who the nurse is. This is just like being in L&D and then some. Thanks AirStrip!!!!
