CustomKit: Icons & Backgrounds Reviews

I downloaded most apps from the store trying to find some nice custom icons for my IPhone. ALL of them either forced you to pay, had very few choices (most of which weren’t good) or didn’t work great. The thing I LOVE about CustomKit is it just gives you the photos of the icons. That way you can go into shortcuts and do that process, thus making the icons work flawlessly. This process takes longer than other apps but it’s hands down the best way to do it. When you open apps you don’t get a notification (if you set it up right) you don’t get put into safari first or anything, just straight to your app like if it were a regular IPhone Icon. CustomKit also has a really good range of icons available, ESPECIALLY considering it’s completely FREE. Another great thing is I was able to find ALMOST every single app on my phone apart from my banking app and PlayStation app, other than those 2 I was able to find every single app. I have absolutely Zero complaints, however I will say in the future, having a custom icon maker would be great! I would definitely pay for that. (If the devs are able to make it properly and easy to use)

I think CustomKit is great but there’s something that I would like to fix. I think that there should be a search bar and more themes such as TV show themed things like more anime and like All American and etc.. The last thing I would like to fix is that you guys should have funny things instead of like your modern ones because some of them are pretty boring I would definitely recommend this to other people if these things were fixed. Keep up the work

So I just got CustomKit and I love that it’s free cause it’s so hard to find some that are free but I have some app recommendations you could do
You should do your own logo like come on really (unless you did already) and also pls do Dino, like a Dino, littlemrsfortune, all the five nights at Freddy’s games, gacha club, ibs paint, CapCut, subway surfers, higher lower, geometry lite, dangaronpa 2, video star, alight motion, FlipaClip, it’s me, roblox,
All the Fran bow games, akinator, google classroom, ixl, funimation, peacock, feud live, tap on time, cyber surfer, lily diary, monster girl, Mathway, health, wallet, lobby, and anime maker if you do any of these I’ll be very appreciative<3

I have been searching for a while for an app like this where I don’t have to pay an abused amount of money for it, and this worked pretty nicely. But ofc, my only complaint is that I want more free icons and backgrounds because a lot of people can’t afford to throw away money for something this small, but they still deserver that lil nit of fun to get to customize their phone! So even though I know you’re just a company which needs money, please make more free icons and such.

I don’t really know what to say it WORKS! just click click confirm and it’s there in a few seconds. It has everything that I wanted but just be aware that in order to have access to ALL of the widgets and themes and stuff, you DO have to pay. I am currently upswing the limited version lol. I hate paying for stuff and even though I don’t have to pay it still works!!! Over all, I LOVE CustomKit and I definitely recommend 😊😊😊

So listen up people CustomKit only has like 5 templates and they do have like every app but allot does is give you pictures off the icons and takes you to settings to add them one by one there are a lot off apps that let you create them and the manually put them on but if you are like me and don’t like searching up one by one pictures what I did is I got next icon and CustomKit I downloaded all the pictures of the icons from CustomKit then downloaded them off CustomKit of next icon

Ok I downloaded CustomKit thinking “even though you have to pay for some stuff maybe they’ll have enough free themes” but um even tho I did find one I liked I still didn’t like it as much y’all don’t have enough free themes for me to give you a 5 star review fix this and your app will be even better besides that CustomKit is amazing I love all the creative themes CustomKit has 🤩

Hi I am 12 so I can’t get the subscription so please help all the kids like me that just won’t to have fun by having more free ones maybe you could have us watch a Aston download a new background I gave CustomKit 5 stars because the ones I saw looked great but sadly they are not free hoping for a change thank you.

CustomKit is good with a lot of apps that normal to people use. Of course you download CustomKit thinking that it is free but if you want anything but white or a black theme you need to pay a monthly fee. This is a deal bracket for many people. It would be nice if the company would make icons for their other apps. For me I Use Alarmify daily but CustomKit doesn’t support app icon for it.

I like how they give some free options if you don’t want to pay but there are not a lot of selection. If you don’t want to pay you only have four or three free and it is not worth it. Other than that they have super cute themes and I do recommend it if you are willing to pay

This is the most amazing app I got this year I am so excited because there are you can change your background and but there’s also another thing I don’t like just one thing I don’t like not all of them are free

I don’t really like how limited CustomKit is on what you can have, like I was looking to find a cute anime wallpaper but was only given a small selection of Certain things and I couldn’t find anything I wanted. So I just wanted to say that I want CustomKit to be less limited on what you can have but other than that nothing bad to say about CustomKit. 😋

I really like all the wallpapers I just wish their were more free ones. As a person who doesn’t have a job or earn enough money to spend it all on apps, I just with their was more.
Other than that CustomKit has tons of cute things and was exactly what I was looking for!

So… on the plus side this is the first customizing app that has themes that don’t cost money. That part I love about CustomKit and most other apps cost money. However, there are only 6 themes you can get that are free, and I definitely think that there should be more. Overall great app but needs more free themes.

This is a good and easy app to use. I like the themes but I wish that there were more… I was looking for a Five nights at Freddy’s one but that’s ok. I also suggest that you make an option that you could customize your own strewn kit! But overall a good app

So first of I thought everything in this cost money but no they give u some cute wallpapers for free and they mite not be as good but still pretty cute and yea it’s nice to use if u are looking for ideas for icons I can say a food one (must be cute) anyways but if u are looking for a free one then don’t download it cause it cost money

It was great but if your on a budget there are limited options they are cute but their better than all others that I’ve seen that are free and honestly do recommend but would really love more free features 👌🏾

I like icons with more detail, also themes for the season or holiday. CustomKit is a lot easier as far as the installation process goes, some others you have to go into your phone settings and it is not worth messing with. Keep the icons coming!

So I want to say I don’t mind paying for icons and wallpapers as someone had to work hard on them but the idea of a subscription instead of being able to buy them individually is weird. Otherwise the options are cute. I just don’t want to subscribe for something I could buy one time somewhere else and have it forever.

I give it five stars because it’s really cool and really can be used when you want to make your wallpaper look cool andAesthetic and it’s really amazing how you can use these things to make your wallpaper cute

I think CustomKit is useless for me and hundreds or thousands of other people if we can only use it well if we spend money which would be fine if the description of CustomKit said custom themes and widgets which would be fine if we could actually use them if we paid I mean please just make premium for special stuff not every theme except for 6 of them this is like every other app I use for themes they claim you can make themes use themes use widgets and icons but when u actually get CustomKit it says in order to continue or to use themes and widgets and icons you should get premium

At first when you open CustomKit it asked if you would want to purchase premium but if not all you did was hit the x in the corner and continue it was great I wanted a miles Morales theme which they didn’t have but they had the colors of him so I picked that it’s a good app I would like Spider-Man themes tho

CustomKit is good if you’re willing to spend money on it. I was looking at the free options, and there aren’t many. I think this could be easily improved if the company weren’t looking for any way to make more money. All in all the free ones work, I just wish there were more of them.

I love CustomKit I just want there to be more free icons because I don’t have any money to buy things or spend I got this phone from my aunt for my birthday but my parents don’t know if they figure it out I will have to sell it

I am young and can not afford to buy the subscription but I LOVE LOVE LOVE how I can choose what my own app theme looks like and the wallpaper is amazing,but one thing I think will make CustomKit thrive is if they put 1 or 2 more free ones because people underage like me cannot make the purchase to buy more themes.❤️❤️❤️thank you

Personally, on all the other apps I’ve seen like this you only have paid themes, but what I’m looking for is a free My Melody theme. I’ve searched every app and so far this has been the closest. I just downloaded black icons and added a My Melody background on my own. But I would really appreciate getting a free, cute My Melody theme. <3

Honestly I feel like they should put more free stuff and icons because there is only like 4 and that is what I see in many of these types of apps I understand how u need to make a profit but there are some people who can’t afford a monthly subscription developers if u respond please take my notes to heart 🩷

I wish we could get more free but they didn’t answer so I guess it’s good but I really loved it even though I didn’t get a lot for free but even though you can actually change it just click on once they say free you can actually change it when you’re done but it’s not gonna be really changing it’s gonna show the background but you can’t actually do what you can. You can actually buy some more and it was very good but I wish I love you more. I love you guys thank you
