Battery Widget & Color Widgets Reviews

I paid less than half for an app that was very similar. $20 is way too much... Especially with a $4 weekly tag sitting next to it... What's the point of that? Nobody in their right mind would pay $4 a week for a battery widget. I'd imagine anyone with half a brain cell would pay, realize they got scammed, and drop the subscription within the week. There's not even enough content to justify half the price, there's no community support or customization I can see or anything. Just a few pre determined themes, only like four stand out to me.

I would actually use BatteryWidgetColorWidgets and go through a few ads if just the dark theme was included, but ALL the free themes are disgusting... Obviously on purpose to coerce you to pay up... So nah. Uninstalled.

Do I have to pay for the brightness percentage to be adjusted in the widget?

Edit: I pay 10 dollars for the lifetime of BatteryWidgetColorWidgets because I know developers need supports to make BatteryWidgetColorWidgets better. I hope developers fix the problem about the brightness percentage that doesn’t change in the widget and only change when I enter in BatteryWidgetColorWidgets . I give you 5 star. Take care.

It’s a fine app but really $30 for a lifetime use is too steep

Functionally it’s missing basic battery monitoring functions provided by the Apple OS14 battery widget. It doesn’t monitor battery status of connected Bluetooth devices like AirPods and the Apple battery case. That’s a huge miss. The free Apple App can do that!

Also the brightness function doesn’t update automatically. You have to open BatteryWidgetColorWidgets to get it to refresh

UPDATE: reducing my rating after 1 week of use. After paying for lifetime access (yes I’m an idiot) BatteryWidgetColorWidgets won’t restore my purchase and insists that I pay again to unlock premium features and turn off the ads. Ironically it also asks AGAIN to give a rating, which I am more than happy to do so I can warn you good people to stay away from this buggy app. Customer Service is their term for radio silence so don’t expect any support from the company.

BatteryWidgetColorWidgets is great for my phone, and it works well. I bought the lifetime version but every time I go into the widget I set it keeps on wanting me to buy the lifetime version and it doesn’t recognize my account. This may be a bug but it is very annoying. PLEASE FIX or let me know how to have the widget app recognize that I have the lifetime version.

Love BatteryWidgetColorWidgets but the one problem it does have is that you have to open BatteryWidgetColorWidgets to get the widget to update what it’s showing you, it’s a real pain and I notice it especially with the brightness indicator. Please fix!!
Edit- Used to be able to choose light/dark theme with free version, now you are stuck with the light and have to pay for the dark theme. What a joke. I get you need to make money, but that’s ridiculous price for a stupid widget.

A unique and good app, but does there really have to be only one color pallet that free users can use. That’s just ignorant, I completely understand you need to make money somehow, but why does every other pallet have to be paid for. I find it unfair as a child who can’t pay for it. Maybe add a couple more free colors and i’ll download BatteryWidgetColorWidgets again, but for now i’m deleting it. I’m keeping the 1 star until any changes, if none, then the 1 star review will stay.

We want at least to amke the dark theme option which is I think the second to be available for free, please! And stop showing the "get premium" on the widget screen most of the time. -_-

Could be useful and pleasant to look at but the free version has so few options that it’s hard to make up my mind. With their weekly/monthly subscription rates it is obvious that they want you to shell out the $13 for the lifetime subscription. So far I am unable to find the value BatteryWidgetColorWidgets provides for the price they are wanting us to pay.

I see the get premium add more than I see the actual widget and they only let you choose one color. I understand you need to make money but to not even be allowed to change it from light to dark is kinda annoying especially after it used to be free. Tbh wouldn’t recommend and a similar one is date today widget that pretty much does the same thing without the adds:/

Very nice looking widget that gives me all of the system info that’s important to me in a very easy to see way. Stats since last boot, battery info, disk use, etc..

I downloaded it because it looked nice but the ad pops up every time I unlock the phone. I had to open BatteryWidgetColorWidgets and close it to make it go away. It’s the most annoying thing and I deleted it after 1 day. The screen brightness is always showing 66% no matter if you make it brighter or low. I didn’t bother to check the accuracy of the other ones.

Colorful battery & system info widgets make my home screen more beautiful and informative. BatteryWidgetColorWidgets offers many great color palettes that fit my wallpaper. Must try it!!!

Simple to use. Looks gorgeous as a new widget on my phone. Helpful information for managing battery. I wish it included earphone battery, but oh well.

Why is it every five minutes I have to go back and restore my purchase? I spent the extra money for the unlimited forever plan, which was $30, to only be a waste because I have to keep restoring it and keep fixing it. The free isn’t even worth it. There are a lot better widgets out there than this one. Unless they fix it .... it’s not worth it

This is a fun little app if you like to make your own personal phone themes. I’d recommend this if you want to play with the themes on your phone.

Well BatteryWidgetColorWidgets is ok but I’m t there is one problem I’m sure you’ve seen in many other comments. The Brightness present does not go up or down unless you open BatteryWidgetColorWidgets first. If this is not fixed in a new update then I suggest not getting BatteryWidgetColorWidgets and finding something better. Please fix this bug Developers.

I got this to use on my new iPhone 12. It was fine for a couple of weeks. Today, instead of seeing my battery percentage, I see an ad on my homescreen asking me to “Upgrade to Premium “. I can’t believe this is something that Apple allows. Deleted.

Totally disappointed. There is nothing more facilities other than the changeable color widget. The worse thing is trapping in auto subscription of money. I’ve got that and regret it. Now, that App has been removed once and for all after wasting of 9.99 usd for nothing. Such a cheating of apps should not be in listed in store.

Wanted to get a text version of battery that works like the original battery on iOS 13. I have iPhone 8 Plus and a Apple Watch. The new one is very difficult for someone with bad vision like myself do you even tell what the heck it’s doing.

New app update took away the black background and replaced it with a grey one. Please bring pure black theme with colorful rings. Also the percentages are not live and have to open BatteryWidgetColorWidgets to get an update of percentages. Please fix

It’s cool and all but when I change my brightness or charge my iPad on the widgets screen nothing changes, Do I have to pay?

I love the widgets, better looking than the original batteries widget that comes on the phone. But why did you take away the darkmode theme? Solid black was great, please bring it back.

So I got BatteryWidgetColorWidgets because I wanted to display my battery percentage prominently on my home screen. The aesthetics of the information that is surfaced is exactly what I was looking for however the information is inaccurate. I don’t want to have to guess whether the battery percentage is correct or have to launch BatteryWidgetColorWidgets to get it to refresh. The point of this is to have that information available to me at a glance however in more occasions than I can count the percentage that’s being displayed is not correct.For example free percentage shows 38%, however my actual battery percentage is 64%. Hopefully something they can fix but I would not recommend it right now.
