I don’t know if you guys over at Sodexo just flat out don’t care, or legitimately don’t know how to develop an app. What is the point of making an app designed for college students as a way of helping them order food easily, when it does not work, and instead just gives us more headaches. Out of the now 10 attempts of me trying to order food on campus, it’s only worked once! I constantly get the message that my “payment could not be processed, try again later.” Ok, I try again later and get the same message. It’s an endless cycle. How about you, Sodexo, give a care about your product? Or at least stop hiding behind the lie of “trying to help college students” and instead own up to the fact that you made a horrendously broken app.

I ordered a cup of coffee from my uni’s coffee shop and the “ASAP” ended up being an hour and a half after I ordered—something it doesn’t tell you until the very end. I still ordered hoping the cafe would just give it to me immediately and they refused. I then tried to cancel the order and there was no option to do so! If I wanted to wait an hour and a half for coffee, I wouldn’t have bothered to order. I deleted Bite and didn’t bother with the order. Thankfully, I hadn’t paid yet. Waste of time and resources. Get an option to cancel orders. Busy college students and employees don’t always have that kind of time to waste waiting for food. Next time, I’ll just drive to my local coffee shop instead.

My school promoting Bite to be able to order food to to be picked up at the door to prevent COVID..... But I can't add my campus card and there is no way I am paying money for a this app card when I all ready have to pay for a meal plan....

Things are missing from the menus. I have a problem with payment every other time I use Bite and there is no fix. It’s a useless app if it isn’t reliable, and it is never reliable.

I’m not sure why Sodexo offers an app that doesn’t work. My payment is not accepted even though there is money in my account. I’ve worked with the local staff and they don’t understand why it doesn’t work.

Inactivity fees, account closure fees. If you don’t use Bite they will charge you for inactivity. If you close the account they charge you 25 dollars. The fact that universities use Bite as the only way to online order blows my mind. Wish I could give zero stars.

Every time I try order at night (8 or later) it doesn’t go through, saying there is an error with my payment. It doesn’t matter how many times I try or what I do, the error is still there. It is very frustrating.

I have not been able to use this app for about a week because every time I order there is a payment error. I have deleted and re downloaded Bite but not even that works. Extremely frustrating experience

Sent my iPhone into black-screen-with-spinning-wheel-frozen. I had to download something on my computer to fix it. Please fix!!! Bite has been great up to now and I would love to keep using it, but whenever I go to place a pickup order, it breaks things again!!!

Why use the university’s own app that worked perfectly fine and was reliable. Sodexo comes along makes us download a completely different app that as the reviews say glitches and usually has the wrong menu items anyways. Would give zero stars

I only have this because my university forced me to, but everytime I download Bite it asks to turn on geolocation (which I do) and then says Get Started, but when I click on it it doesn’t do anything. I’ve downloaded it three times and I’m really hungry, but I guess eating is not an option with Bite :/

Can’t even open your app to order some of your food. Unfortunately my school has sold itself out to Sodexo so I have no other options for eating at night. Not like I’m even that disappointed cause your food is borderline not suitable for human consumption. Screw you Sodexo I hope your company goes under

My school implemented Bite after the pandemic, and it has only led me to have less options to eat on campus. You either have to sign up for a this app card or use your campus card, but if you live off campus, like me, chances are you don’t have money on the card. There’s no reason for them to not allow students to add a debit card.

Minimal effort given to fix the issues that customers have been having for years, often takes 20 minutes to order what you want due to crashes at my university. I’m surprised universities have not developed their own better versions of this lazily coded app. Good for a prototype of an app, but this is inappropriate for actual widespread use.

The only reason I downloaded Bite is because I had to, and I assume because my school was reaching for an option during COVID and Bite capitalizes off it. It needs a lot of UX work. So many times you are forced to totally back up off the flow in order to add something. Orders have a tendency to just “not come in.” Bite screams shoddy production work by money-hungry persons trying to get something out as quickly as possible to bank off COVID. It’s gross. Either get in the game or get out of it.

my university has only pickup options for food and I ordered a quesadilla with no pico de gallo (allergies) and they gave it to me anyway so now I wasted money on food I can't even eat. need a instruction box when ordering food to specify stuff like this

I would love to use Bite. The idea of it sounds so nice!! I would love to know what they are serving before I make the long hike to the caf. But anytime I go to scan the qrcode it crashes. And my university (umkc) doesn’t have a location code available to us. I really hope this is fixed in the next update!!
