It’s great existing disruptive tech. Great network opportunity.

There is a feature that gives you words to freestyle too. They use marijuana themes and BARS says 12 years old. After many attempts to get their attention, I have been ignored.

They believe I’m a troll because I ask tough question, I don’t seek validation from them and the crew they have planted to “guard the gate.”

I have responded strongly but never with the things they talk about. People talk guns and I tell them they don’t live that life. Theres a weirdo that tries to bully everyone if you don’t keep quiet. I don’t keep quiet. He has done a great job at slandering.

BARS supports drug use, gun culture and homophobia. This is what the crew they support talk about for the moat part.

There is good too. I am grateful, but INTEGRITY is not a thing or they are purposely negatively influencing +12 year olds and devastating the art form and culture we love; HIP HOP <3

BARS is dope but it keeps crashing
Every time I go to upload it keep stating something is wrong at first I thought it was something with my phone but then I logged in using my second phone and it was the same problem, then I thought it was my WiFi so
I used my 5G data and I was still having the same problem. Over all BARS is dope great way to network with talented artist as well as get your skills up!

My biggest issue is that I can’t see who I’ve followed to find their posts again. Sometimes you just wanna go back and listen to a cool post you remember and see what they’re up to. You have to actually remember their name to search them. 😬 also can’t unfollow someone unless they pop up in the feed or notifications again.

And I’m not sure why you can tap the fire button as much as you want. That seems like a big issue for the future.

I’m also weirded out that I can’t find anything about submitting beats to this as a producer. Producers should have a lot of stake here too and help give people a wide variety of beats to rap over. There doesn’t seem to be any public approval process yet. I’d love to see that later. When all this stuff is address I’d gladly change my review.

Guys you should add an option allow us to access camera roll to upload a video you’ve downloaded, but have not published. I recently made a video, but never published, thankfully it was downloaded, but there needs to be an area where you can store previously made videos in case of accidental loss.

Happy to see such a great community of talented people! It keeps me inspired to continue writing and producing that fire lyrical content I’m oh so familiar with.. Only thing I suggest is building with some different artists instrumental wise so we can send you guys some of our beats to be featured on BARS cause some of the beats you guys rocking on there a bit cheesy. Just keeping it 💯Other then that, super dope app!

This is a great app for those who songwrite, make gingles or want to grow your skills with writing and rapping because there are seasoned users that teach classes as well and post daily challenges to keep your creative juices flowing. Yeah you are thinking BARS can’t be all that. Well it is new and needs some work which will come in due time but overall it’s fun and addicting and will only get better as users like you and use BARS . You’ll want to jump on many cyphers and even create your own snippets of songs with the beats provided. There are beats for every type of artist or songwriter along with a very talented community users that will keep you engaged and inspired.

BARS is so fun and easy to make raps and post them and interact with a community of likeminded creative rappers. The only downside is that i just got my first follower as i had no clue BARS EVEN had a follow feature until now, the follow button is tucked away in a 3 dot dropdown. Please fix this and make a proper follow button above the bio!! There is so many more great things i can say about BARS tho, download BARS and see what im talking about. I will update my rating to five star as soon as the follow button is added since everything else with BARS is perfect, i love the constant new beats that get added, very entertaining and easy. 5 out of 5.

I don’t know if this is for everyone but I can’t collab with someone I get a black screen and this error message that says something about a bad pixel buffer request? I don’t know I was frustrated I couldn’t save a freestyle I really liked.. I hope this gets resolved soon!

Also do you guys work with Beat makers? I make beats and think it’d be awesome to have some beats on your platform!

It’s easy to learn, use, and understand. It seems new and I hope many features will come but jump in if you love to rap. It’s a good place to practice or show off your skill. We need everyone to get on here.

this app has taken over my life, in a good way. It’s been up for less than two weeks and I’m on it constantly connecting to others and learning a ton. The this app team made a platform that’s easy to look at, fun to use, and I even got a few phone numbers out of it. this app is my new Tinder...plus Tinder banned me. Oh yeah, I rap on it too. Flex on em! :p

Music has always been an escape for me, especially lyrics, and even more so, rhymes. I have tons of notes that came from emotions that needed a plane to go and I have never really had anywhere to put them, until now. On top of being a super sophisticated platform with great service and attention to any issues or bugs (which they immediately fix and/or reply to messages- better then any brand new app I’ve ever downloaded!), this app has low key become a sort of home for me, or at least my creative outlets. It’s amazing and inspiring to be in the midst of so many legit creators and also be able to share your own this app/thoughts with a community that is genuinely as passionate as you are. In one word: healing! And so necessary!!! Thank you, this app!!!

BARS is awesome, dope features, cool community, and bunch of dope talented lyricists and singers!

It allows you to create instantly, gives you the beats, integrated notes, and a few video and audio FX (including autotune, alien voice octaves, and Radio voice! (*for now until they update it) but it works really good. There is a cypher button to collab with other artists with prerecorded spaces. They even feature you on the page and socials if you kill it and gain a little exposure....they have competitions for distribution, word generator, challenges .. No big glitches- the community is awesome- everybody shows love- no negativity (some people try to do follow for follow but that’s not bad) but it’s really all positive for me!! As a musician, a beat maker, a vocalist, I was delightfully surprised with BARS. It’s tons of fun, it’s all music and our shared love for it. With the this app app, you get a unique insight to different individual’s interpretation of music, from all across the world. It has some pretty neat features, and a whole lot of potential! 5 stars!

Not a true review yet. I am a musician transplant from the Collab app. I’m specifically a drummer. Is there any opportunity for a drummer like myself to add beats to your platform? Is musicians from the collab app, are at a bit at a loss. We have no where to fulfill our passion, but was referred to your app. There are many musicians, specifically from the collab app that feel displaced. Was hoping this could be an app for us. Thank you

BARS is everything I’ve ever wanted and until I save up to spend thousands on great studio equipment BARS can do most of what that equipment would do for me. I’d be lost without this app! This is what I’ve been missing for years. The craziest and my favorite part is the vocal effects that are instantly applied and once you figure them out they are amazing!

I really like BARS but the reason I give it 3 stars is because I can’t share my this app. Every time I share BARS crashes. I’ve tried 10+ times to share but no luck. I wish this issue could be fixed but maybe I’m the only one who has this problem. 🤷🏾‍♂️
Update: they fixed it shortly after I made this review. I give BARS 5 stars because it has consumed so much of my time in a good way. I highly recommend it. I will suggest BARS to anyone who loves the art of hip hop. Seasoned rhyme slinger or novice will love BARS. I guarantee.

If you are hip-hop rap MC or overall music fan any genre truely and you love the art of music. BARS will begin a new life for you. Music more recently just hasn’t been the same, just for the sake of sstyle, Genre, energy is not there, everything seems similar and or the same. BARS is not only open ti so many talented individuals but has open my eyes to a full understanding of how many people still love the art of this app. If you are about that bar you’ll be blown away. I’ve never written a review before and probably will not, because nothing is going to beat it. Cheers

I was apart of the “VIP” program basically just people that asked to got on BARS early. I kinda just sat in the back ground afraid to post always using the beats provided to freestyle and meticulously write this one rap. Wether you want to be anonymous or show your face BARS will help you GROW as an artist. If you’re here for fun or seriously chasing a passion BARS is the fertilizer to your soil. Give this community a chance you will not be let down. One of these guys Comicbook_cam is so helpful and skilled. Plenty of other great people with even greater skill all over BARS. I was hype about the new app, the only issue I have is I hear a delay in my headphones when I record. When I finish recording it sounds hella off beat. I’m by no means a pro but it definitely needs to be fixed.

With pre-loaded beats, quick recording and a few basic filters - I can pretty much go from concept to published video in like 20 minutes without overthinking. The user community is supportive and cool enough to where I don’t second guess publishing.

Overall a lot of fun, I’m sure they’ll build in some new features soon, but I really enjoy the simplicity of it. I’ve published more in the last couple months than I had in years
