Downloaded the new and improved app. The old one stopped working after the download. CBSPhiladelphia is not new and improved. I can’t even read or watch anything. As soon as I tap on it CBSPhiladelphia crashes and goes back to my home screen. Very disappointed. Wish I never downloaded it and left the old one that worked perfectly. Every time I get an alert I tap on it. It takes me to the article but as soon as I move it to read it CBSPhiladelphia crashes yet again. Should’ve just updated the old app that worked.

Was using the old version for some months and it was great. If a article showed up on my notifications I was able to access that article easily by clicking it and it directly took me to that article. With this new upgrade I click on that article that popped up and it just takes me to the main page????? In search of the article. Which most of the times I give up. So now I have to look for some other app for my local news or just wait till this gets fixed.

Why is it for ‘Highlights’ (the news) you still have to keep hitting the ‘Load More’ button??? The other topics don’t require that.

I’ll just use another local news source. Your advertisers won’t be happy when people stop using your app because of a poor design.

I really like CBS and those last local app was functional.

This new app is abysmal. It crashes constantly, to the extant that I haven’t been able to read a single story!

Please fix, or at least do not replace function apps until the new one works!

A "new and improved" app in 2020 without dark mode? I'll continue using their website with reader mode on to make it dark, so I'm not blinded from going from a dark mode of hone to a bright white app. CBS must have had their friend's high school kid make CBSPhiladelphia.

Good effort folks! However you have 30 something reviews on CBSPhiladelphia Store, 2.1 rating it’s like 40%. Please contact APPLE DIRECTLY. They will help out. That would be a helofva story. I would watch something like that. I might invest in AAPL again who knows. RLBX: more stories on RLBX guaranteed $$$.

Read a little and it crashes, fix this so we can be informed quickly. This is not better than the old one.

App crashes every time I try to use. Freezes the whole phone. Old app worked perfectly but it said to download new and improved app...

Much of the news is just holdovers from prior weeks / months. And WAY too many ads

Lame, won’t load most news stories ...why bother when I can just watch the local news on tv

Went to cbs/kyw for breaking stories in the past. Now I get very slow downloading and a pile of memory and battery eaten up by app.

Awful neither new or improved shuts down crashes don’t waste your time

Crashes as soon as it opens. Know CBS Corporate is downsizing their news operations across the country, but driving their audiences to ABC or NBC is nuts.

I have several Philly news aps on my ipad and this one is among the worst.

Absolutely horrible app. You should go back to the drawing board.

This is a “crash and burn” app. What was wrong with the old one? I guess I’ll stick with the NBC 10 app for now along with NJ.com.
