Some of us only have social security to live month to month from. No pensions, no IRAs We even have to buy our own insurance. I believe that once you retire your insurance and dental, eyes, perscriptions, hearing aides SHOULD BE FREE. We paid into retirement all our lives. And because of that, it should all be free , even TAXES of all kinds. My husband and I hat $1,748 per month. Out of that we have lot rent, his and my two health policies both, gas for the car, food ( because they tell us we make to much) lol. Then you have birthday and Christmas. I liked the old app much better. A month ago or so, anytime I would view articles for more than a moment, This Day In History would open up and run. I never click on it…it just opens up and runs. It covers the screen and prohibits viewers from seeing anything else. I emailed support and received no response. I have deleted CBSPittsburgh and reinstalled to no avail.

I suggest viewing KDKA news on a web browser instead.

I’ve always preferred kdka news and weather for my local newscast. Now I can be alerted about top stories and weather. Easy to view and the new version is what you wanted. Try it and see for yourself.

I like being able to get the alert on screen telling you there was a crash here Road closed here etc. but when you go to CBSPittsburgh it starts the news.
it does not go straight to that story.
So they tease you into going to CBSPittsburgh but you have to watch the whole news feed before you can see the actual breaking news you want to see!

The new updated app is very cumbersome to use.
Hate having to keep hitting More News instead of scrolling down through the stories. Will use far less than the old format.

CBS (Pgh). Was very acceptable up to this last ‘update’ of site (news, presentation of subject and tec design). With respect to personhood, who put this presentation together? At the present, I barely even consider opening to this contact and yes, I spend too much time trying to make this work, trying to ‘ get the info’ that CBS was ‘supposed’ to present. Sorry!

It lags my phone if I have CBSPittsburgh open it lags if I leave CBSPittsburgh it still lags I have to close CBSPittsburgh . Drains battery. Phone gets hotter than if I use a different app like a game and I am just reading the news.

Hangs when loading, doesn’t scroll easily, jumps into articles that were not touched, real time video hangs, way too many ads, and has crashed my phone twice. Deleted. I normally don’t post reviews this negative but I do so in the hope that I may save others from wasting their time.

Can’t watch live CBSN news even though this is where the station says to watch it. Won’t load.

Fix CBSPittsburgh .

I was expecting to be able to find the tv scheduled- if is in on CBSPittsburgh it is not obvious where it is
It would be nice to set my cbs local to a specific city
I’m a big steeler fan and would like to watch it on CBSPittsburgh when I don’t have access to tv

It gives you up a minute notifications on things happening but once clicked it does not bring up the story. Useless if you want more than a headline.

Both KDKA and WPXI are behind on presenting up to date items.
I do however enjoy reading your coverage.

I put this new app in my phone a few days ago like the format however today it did not work a blank screen had to delete and put back in my phone is this going to happen again . If it does I can always download either wtae or wpix news app in my phone. The old app never had this problem. Kevin

Good app for the latest news, info and weather.

I used to be able to click on a notification and it would take me to the news story. Now it just takes me to CBSPittsburgh and I can’t find the story.

Need to be able to filter out notifications you receive. Just get way too many. 12-15 in the span of a few hours. Ridiculous.

Normally I don’t write reviews but seriously... I have to speak up here!! It crashes constantly and as others have noted it’s cumbersome to use and maneuver to find stories. Go back to the drawing board guys! 😩

CBSPittsburgh is useless because it is so slow and typically ends up freezing my phone. Not worth the trouble in my opinion. I will get my Pittsburgh news elsewhere.

First an ad then crashes after 30 seconds of loading more news. Go back to the old app. This one is not even usable.

CBSPittsburgh constantly freezes. Also, the “More” button is annoying. I finally deleted CBSPittsburgh .
