Care19 Diary is the official COVID-19 app for the states of Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota.
Places you visit can be added manually and, if you enable location services, the app will attempt to auto-detect locations in the background.
Care19 is a digital diary that can help you remember where you have been over the last 14 days.
Our goal would be to automatically capture about half of the places you visit, thus reducing the amount of work needed to maintain the list.
Identifying contacts is key to slowing the spread of coronavirus.
This is done by sharing a code number displayed on the “About” section of the app.
You will not be asked to provide any personally identifiable information within the app.

I think this is a great way to get a more accurate model!
I wish that you could edit the location in the case of an inaccurate point. It seems to recognize when I’m in one spot for longer than 10 minutes. I have a couple in the first 24 hours that actually show a couple blocks away from where I actually was.

My mom and I with different phones were in the same places at the same time the same day but Care19Diary does not show the same stops and times. We were driving from Carrington to Jamestown straight through, and it showed two stops. Didn’t happen!!! We stopped for gas, mine didn’t show it but hers did.

Seems to do what it says it will. The animated participant counter and location are distracting and seem to be superfluous, especially as they restart every time the map is moved. A static user counter/location could serve the same purpose. Also, a key would be handy in identifying the different symbols (blue cross with circle in middle).

I love the idea of Care19Diary . I wish I could contact support, because I just wanted to let them know that their locations are a bit off. I was at the Post Office, but it said I was at the bar that is kitty corner from the post office. I have a coworker who also noted the location is not correct for her, either.

Please the location is not working and whenever I have to change the map preview, why the number of participant is re-incremented over again and it doesn’t provide any additional information. It’s just the same number every time. If I want to know my current location I can’t know that!
It’s a good idea but you should do it right.

It would be nice to be able to add a location you have been to previous of downloading Care19Diary . I have been to a couple grocery stores but it wouldn’t know because I didn’t have Care19Diary yet.

The visibility into where Care19Diary is being run is a fun addition. Perhaps add a tab containing the latest news (or links to that) and a tab for the latest test results for the current county...

I like Care19Diary . I work for a trucking company, and have my employees using Care19Diary as well. Easy setup. We don’t understand what to do if someone tests positive. There doesn’t seem to be any process in Care19Diary if someone catches the virus to alert Care19Diary and others they have contracted it. Any help would be fantastic on how to do so.

I just downloaded Care19Diary and there was no option to “Always Allow” tracking. I had to go to my settings to modify this after the fact.

Having trouble with it allowing me to enter places visited. Appears to not be working correctly in my phone. Have been at work for over an hour and it hasn’t asked where I am at etc.

Rather than taking evidence-based steps at the state level to curb the spread of the virus, the State of ND found a way to track citizens, absolve elected leaders of responsibility, and line the pockets of the governor’s cronies in tech. When Covid-19 numbers skyrocket in late April, and they will, you can bet the governor will blame the people for not taking advantage of this silly app.

Picks random places along your route as places you stopped. Not accurate, which makes it of little use.
