Soosee is good but every time I try to go back to look at the different categories it doesn’t work I have to completely exit out Soosee and remove it from my most recent and re open it in order for me to click another category and repeat the process every time

I just downloaded Soosee and I love the idea. Can there be explanations for each category? For example what is an Animal E number and why would some people not want that. Or palm oil and why would people want to know if it’s in their food. I’m new to trying to live my best life 😊 and I’m not sure why I would or would not want some different categories.
Another idea is to add a category for certain vitamins and minerals. If someone is looking, for example, a product that is high in iron your amazing app could point out ingredients that would give said person an idea of what high iron ingredients are.
Make a calorie counter and make it so you can scan the nutritional facts box and it does the work for you. The user would then just put in the amount of something they had.
I cannot wait to see how Soosee evolves. ❤️

OMG - the grocery store takes forever when you have an allergy kiddo or you’re on a special diet. This is the first app that I have seen that helps read the labels and all the ingredients - aka words that avoid just saying it comes from a peanut or an almond.
Example: Arachis Oil or Cacahouette

Great app for those with good allergies or following specific diets. Quick auto focus and a solid amount of filters to choose from. Perfect companion at the grocery store!

Works really well and helps me to quickly identify products with gluten in it. I highly recommend Soosee if you have a food allergy.

The scanning is smooth and fast. It’s really accurate, and I haven’t missed anything with it yet. Super good tool for finding additives, sugars and allergens in foods. Highly recommend

I developed a meat intolerance in the past few years and am now an avid label checker. Any meat can and does make me sick and in a lot of pain. Soosee helps does a quick scan for me. Grocery shopping just got so much easier.

If you are like me and aren’t necessarily allergic to a lot of different foods but preservatives and unnecessary ingredients! Whether for flavor smell or preservatives in food that make you feel sluggish and horrible! Well then, there is an app for you... If you are a parent, or your family or your kin to someone that has food allergies or is on a specialty diet, Soosee will change your/their life and make it a whole lot easier & hopefully healthier! I went through my refrigerator and cabinets and was shocked to find unhealthy things and foods that I thought were healthy and safe to eat. It just goes to show you that you have to do a little extra work and can’t rely on companies to prominently display ingredients preservatives etc., in your food!

I use Soosee everyday- while shopping for myself and family with various allergies- at home as we learn more about the products we use and I tell everyone I know that Soosee is a must have! Easy to set up and Easy to use. I am so thankful!

Thank you both for developing such a powerful app. I have two adult children with special needs and checking food labels for potential allergens is so difficult for them.I would love for you to expand your database to include foods that are high in histamines. Thanks for your great work!

Update : I love Soosee now that I am using it correctly . I paid the 12 dollars made custom word settings for me and it is awesome

I have a severe allergy and was super excited to find this. I tested on something clearly labeled and popular Trader J... item
And Soosee did not find the beef in beef broth and I have my settings set to Vegan

this app is marvelous, and dang, it's about time something like this exists!!! The design and usage of emojis are entertaining as well as fun. The user experience is nearly flawless.

I'm lactose intolerant and have very specific food allergies. Finding an ingredient and letting my camera do the scanning for me instead of scanning it with my eyes is such a timesaver.

I still feel rather new to the allergy world. My daughter was diagnosed with celiac and has multiple food allergies. Soosee is fantastic at finding those ingredients that aren’t always so obvious and it saves time in having to google while I’m shopping. Thank you for creating this and putting in all the time and effort. It is so appreciated!

If you don't have food allergies it's hard to describe the emotions that are tied up with checking food labels. It's not an option. It's something you must do without fail. It can be a hassle, but when you're travelling it can be downright frightening. I remember being in a foreign country trying to translate food labels. It was slow, painful, and many times unsuccessful. I'm so glad I have Soosee now to help with situations like that.

Ive tried a handful of those barcode scanner apps where you scan the barcode and based upon the allergies, Soosee tells you good or bad. The problem with those apps are that there are so many different products that often times there is no match and I end up reading the ingredients myself.

What I LOVE about Soosee is it scans the ingredient list to question the possible inclusion of allergens. I can easily determine if these keyword are a problem. No database to update, no waiting for a label analysis.

I’m thrilled I found Soosee! I literally react to everything! A couple of foods I react to not listed and are in a lot of foods are corn and it’s byproducts (cornstarch, cornmeal, etc) and rice (rice starch, rice flour). I react to high histamine fruit too. My reactions are always anaphylaxis because of a chromosome mutation. Some are worse than others and it’s a game of picking my battles each time I eat and being able to detect these would make my choices much easier. I’m meat, dairy, sugar, rice, corn, tree nuts, wheat, and gluten free as well as on a low histamine diet. Some days I ask myself how I want my water-baked, boiled, steamed, fried, or poached. I also react to the sun and water 🥴…. yeah. Can’t live without it. What a life, right?!

I don’t even have words for how useful this is to me. Many people (including me) with migraines or taking MAOI antidepressants cannot have the amino acid Tyramine, which occurs naturally in certain foods (like nuts) or as foods are aged (like olives, dried fruit, soy sauce, and all aged cheese). It stinks because the list is enormous and complex, and some foods are much worse than others. Between nuts, cheese, soy, anything dried or aged, bacon, nitrates, nitrites, MSG, alcohol, chocolate, all fake sweeteners, beef... my trigger list is enormous and complex. I also can’t have most thickeners because of IBS.

I know this is nice for vegans, vegetarians, and allergies, but this is priceless for migraine sufferers when no one has heard of Tyramine. At least y’all get allergen, GF, and V labels! I have to remember all 93 and a half ingredients and check for each one.

I can NEVER have blue cheese or parmesan, but a little bit of peanut is okay if I’m careful. So. I can even group ingredients into serious ingredients vs “eh, I’ll risk it to eat this!”

Anyways, I just downloaded and very sadly missed the one day a subscription was free but I am so excited to use this more!!! THANK YOU!

Very disappointed I wanted an app that searched for sodium and told me if the product has a high sodium content. Searching for a custom word won’t work because it is the number associated with the word that is important, and high sodium is very unhealthy for people with heart issues.
