nunci: Pronunciation checker Reviews

I’ve used nunci off and on for a few weeks, and since I’m unable to find contact information to let the developer know directly, I’ll put the information here: in using the French language part of nunci , I have discovered that even a native French speaker can pronounce a word perfectly and nunci will recognize it as only 20% accurate. This is useless for anyone trying to learn to pronounce French because when they do it correctly they get the wrong feedback. Until this is fixed. nunci is useless and unreliable when it comes to pronunciation.

I’ve used several language learning apps. This is the first one that lets me create my own personalized lessons. Real time results let me know the areas that need additional practice; reading, writing, speaking or listening. I’m a native English speaker learning Spanish.

Simple and very easy to use. Excellent learning tool. I may have to learn another language just for fun! Thanks for the great app!!!

After installing nunci , I went to the first subject and was asked to say a phrase in a new language that I want to study. There was no example or demonstration, so you can try. Usually when you learn a new language, you start with pronunciation of new words. The “undressed” version of nunci give no insight in what it can do for you. Worthless software.

I never leave reviews but nunci is great.From Spaced Repetition to writing to speaking it is all in one application. I also like the fact that you can create tags to organize which words you want to review and which ones you don’t. Amazing app and I would recommend to anyone looking to take a step further in their language learning.
