i saw Backgroundia in an ad on snapchat,right? so i swiped up and it took me to Backgroundia store. okay... it’s good so far. i clicked it. i put in my password to get it and it installed. great! i didn’t even think to read the reviews on it, and i regretted it. i opened Backgroundia and u can’t do ANYTHING without starting a free trial first. i’m swiping up and down looking for the “X” so i could get started with my backgrounds. i saw no “X”. so i figured “what’s 20 bucks?” so i did the free trial and guess what? it crashed. it exited me out! so i just shook my head and went back in Backgroundia . guess what happened next. i had to get the freakin trial AGAIN! i payed the freakin money, again, and i was SO disappointed. there were so many less backgrounds than i expected. there weren’t that many options to choose from. Once i saw all the choices, i realized i just spent 40 bucks on an app that was a complete let down. worst money i ever spent on an app. I beg u, don’t get this. you’ll just be wasting ur money on it.

There’s no 3D backgrounds like it says on snapchat!!! There’s some pretty backgrounds there that you can save but other than that, it’s not worth it. You don’t have to pay the $20 it asks for i promise. You can literally open Backgroundia when you first get it, then close out of it and open it again. It will take you right to the backgrounds. None of them are live, none of them move, none of them change when you play music or tilt your phone. Just plain pictures. I don’t recommend Backgroundia and it would get 1 star but it did have some nice pics that you might like. Not what I wanted though.

Yes, I found this on Snapchat. I got it and sure enough like the other reviews said “I paid 40$ what a waste” and yes true. But there is a way around it so you get all the pics and things, they could be better but you get them. I can ASSURE you this will work. Keep the AppStore open, yes this AppStore that you get apps on, and open this app. You get the free trial thing right? Just close this AppStore AND the this app app, then open Backgroundia again and somehow it goes away. Idk how it works but it just does. I’m giving it a 3 star cuz: -1 star for tricking people to pay, and -1 star for partially lying in the ad saying you can get the 3D stuff. Anyway that’s it, imma delete Backgroundia in the next 3 min.

Ok so like everybody else (which was a lot btww) I saw this on snap and thought it was cool, right? So I downloaded it, opened it, and no I didn’t hit the X or anything I just tapped the ‘free trial’ option. So of course it did the thing when like it’ll still have you double tap to get it and all and tELL ME WHY MY BANK GAVE ME A NOTIFICATION THAT SAID “you just spent 54 dollars!” IM LIKE???? I look at my subscriptions box to see that I apparently got the pro for one year subscription??? But I know for a fact that I didn’t??? And here’s the part: even with the pro, you still don’t get the same thing that the Snapchat showed you 😭😭 I expect my money back as I’m already broke as I am hence why I chose “free trial” not “pro for one year for 54 dollars” like ?????

So like many others I also saw the ad on Snapchat and and downloaded Backgroundia . I am currently doing the free trial, but very disappointed. The pictures are good quality and very nice, however I do not see any Live Pictographs - and that was the reason I got Backgroundia . On Snapchat it is advertised to show a background that plays music and has live moving balls going from side to side as you tilt your phone - THIS IS NOT THE CASE- this was miss-marketing- do not download Backgroundia if you are expecting live backgrounds

I saw the add on Snapchat that said “FREE TRIAL” just like everyone else and I even checked the fine print for some kind of catch and all it said was that I could cancel the subscription at anytime as long as it was 24hrs before the renewal date. So I downloaded Backgroundia and did the whole ‘double tap the lock button to start the “FREE TRIAL” Subscription’ and the backgrounds were basic. There were no 3D/ Live backgrounds like advertised on Snapchat. Then I get a bill on my bank for nearly $54?! It never said one thing about paying for a yearly subscription for that amount. Only “FREE TRIAL” was advertised. I emailed the makers of Backgroundia a fire times and no reply yet. I Do Not Recommend Backgroundia!

So I got in Backgroundia Store and found Backgroundia. I read the first review while it was downloading and it really made me feel like I don’t want Backgroundia anymore. But I wanted to see for myself. I opens Backgroundia and I was so confused. The reviews I read made me think I had to pay and that it was a terrible app. But when I looked it didn’t say I had to pay and it has a lot of themes but only three backgrounds a theme. The only thing is none of the backgrounds move like in the adds.😌

So first of all, they technically get wallpapers on the internet that you can get for free, but they cost dang money! Second, after a week you pay 10 bucks.. I would pay like 1 dollar if it was a week like other apps do! 10 bucks is for like a month! It’s not fair! It’s like you give someone 1 big bottle and they give you 1 little bottle. A month is 20 bucks... There isn’t even 3D wallpapers! So who’s willing to pay that for some dumb wallpaper that isn’t even 3D!?
To me this is most likely 3/4 of a scam. Don’t get this.

The ad showed backgrounds responding to the music you play. I thought I’d give it a try, but when I opened Backgroundia the first thing I saw was “free trial.” I decided to use the free trial in order to check Backgroundia out and then cancel it quickly after. Not only was Backgroundia just a bunch of low quality backgrounds that you can probably find on google search, but when I went to cancel the trial, it said I payed 53 dollars. I’m calling Apple to take care of this, this is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I warn everyone, don’t click the trial button.

Saw this on snapchat featured as a music player interactive background, nothing what like I saw. Backgroundia is literally a handful of qaulity background pics but not worth the money. $21 after tax for a few unanimated still background images... not only that but i tried to cancel the “free trial” but still charged me the money days later. Waste of money and falsely advertised to promote a useless app..

Many people are unsatisfied because they think they have to do a free trial but you don’t if you just close out Backgroundia Store in Backgroundia when you hit open and reopen it again the free trial screen goes away and then you have many free pictures to choose from. But there is no 3-D music playing things like it says on Snapchat.

Let me just start off with this: If I could give Backgroundia zero stars, I would. Now to the story. So I found Backgroundia on Snapchat like a lot of us. I came too Backgroundia , cool, downloaded it. Then, I got to the page. It said to start a free trial. I was like “the hell with that”. I saw my friend had Backgroundia so I checked it out. It was a scam from the moment I looked at a background. There are hardly any and it cuts off half the page. If you wanna buy this, I suggest you save your time and wallet.

I saw it only had three stars so read the reviews and I’m thankful because most people were concerned about how much they paid and there was no way around it but one person said if you open on Backgroundia Store then close both of them then open Backgroundia you don’t pay

First of all, I’m in Snapchat and see this really cool ad so then I go to Backgroundia on Backgroundia Store and open it up there isn’t a menu, or a collection of background to choose from but a free trial screen that only goes away once you get it so I reload it to see if it would it did but the backgrounds were simple and kind of bland so I searched the general topic of the one I saw on Snapchat but I came across these that shouldn’t of been used for backgrounds
So please developer make some free things without the free trial

When I got into Backgroundia , it instantly said free trial, so I clicked it, and got the “free trial”. Seconds later I go to my Apple ID funds and it is zero dollars, when it specifically said free trial, and I had $30 in my account. I want to get refunded, but I don’t know if this scammy company would do it.

I should have read the reviews first off when you download it it’s free but when you open Backgroundia it says start free trial but has no x to look at anything or exit out when you start the free trial it automatically charges you 29 bucks what happen to the free trial it says you get!! Do not download Backgroundia and I will be getting my money back from this rip off! Even if I have to go to the better Business bureau for this scam! 😡😡🤬

When I downloaded it I was like oh this is pretty cool but then it said start your free trial i didn’t get Backgroundia to pay and it literally gives u no other choice, but if ur willing to pay for a live background Backgroundia is for u

so i saw Backgroundia on snapchat and i thought this might be cool. so i clicked to Backgroundia store and found this app, i downloaded Backgroundia . i looked at the reviews when it was downloading and i thought maybe i shouldn’t get Backgroundia, but some reviews are fake so i’ll try it out. Backgroundia doesn’t have any live backgrounds at all, they only have live 5 categories to choose from, and only 15 selections of those categories to choose from. Backgroundia IS HORRIBLE, DONT GET Backgroundia!!!

THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM. I clicked start free trial and then found out that I was being charged 20$. On top of that, they don’t have any cool wallpapers. This developer has absolutely no intent to provide content but rather just to cheat people out of their money. It is disgraceful that Apple allows Backgroundia on Backgroundia Store. Also notice that there are only 5 star reviews and 1 star reviews. That’s because everybody who gets it gives it one star and the rest are fake reviews. I demand a refund!!!!

Ok so like everyone else I saw this add on Snapchat and thought cool I’ll download Backgroundia then I hit free trial and I got a message “ thanks for allowing us to have a free trial of your laptop” next thing I knew a big dude came into my living room and took my laptop.
In all seriousness don’t fall for Backgroundia it doesn’t even have the background with emojis in 3D that you want and they will steal from you in some way!

So as some other people here, I saw an ad on snapchat and it looked so cool so I decided to get it. When I got it I opened it and I thought it was going to have an x at the corner to just get the original plain app without every single background but it didn’t so I was looking forward to getting Backgroundia for my iPad to look cool but i have to do a free trial.

To the makers of Backgroundia I was looking forward but can you please try to make some of the backgrounds free without trying to get a free trial. I know that these are really nice quality but some people for example me do not want to pay after the trial just for a background and please do not let the really crappy ones for free also try to have nice ones too.

Backgroundia asked me if I wanted to do a trial and then immediately charged me for their most expensive subscription. The most irritating part is that their images are pretty much garbage. When you run your app like an internet scam, it’s probably because you do t have anything good to offer.

Enjoy your $55, maybe you can spend it on hiring a teenager to download random hi-res backgrounds from the internet so that you at least seem somewhat legit.
