SelfieID itself is “ok” from a user experience point of view. Registering and logging in wasn’t too bad.
Best practices: don’t take pictures through SelfieID . Use the native capabilities of your phone instead: use the portrait mode and then edit the photo on the phone to create the best pictures first. The photos will be easily accessible and findable from your phone and easier to review. Then use SelfieID ’s ability to upload photos and select the 1 photo you want to use instead of uploading 6 for preview, which is slow and tedious and you can be logged out in the middle of it all.
Just use the crop feature for the photo you select and upload it, then select it for the Yearbook (YB). Then repeat for the ID. And then you’re done!

SelfieID is ridden with bugs, I found myself having to reload it multiple times, and got no confirmation that any photos were submitted. Pressing a button will just take you back to the page you were previously on. It doesn’t even tell you if you submitted a photo. Also, why do you need to submit up to 6 previews, no more. SelfieID is all around terrible, and take my advice before you do what my school did.

this was infuriating to use ( I’m using this for my school ) my high-school suggested this to us and it’s horrible it was great at first nothing was wrong but when I got off SelfieID for a couple of hours and came back to do my id photo it wouldn’t let me back in even tho I had my password copied and paste onto my notes before making the account official.

SelfieID is so annoying, we had to use this for yearbook photos for my school and i once i submitted mine which i made sure, it followed the guidelines, it took 3 days for them to get to approving it but they declined it because “ my picture had a filter or emojis” I WAS NOT USING A FILTER OR EMOJIS and now the due date is gone so i can’t resubmit anything 😑
