findSisterhood is pretty decent. I wish there were an option in posts where you can see if the original poster replied to you all while keeping it anonymous. Like having an icon.

The flagging system I’m kind of split on. Unfortunately some users use the flagging system as a silencing method. it’s a bit frustrating. It’s nice to be able to immediately remove abuse or bullying but if a user just simply doesn’t like what you’re saying even if it doesn’t go against guidelines, your post can be removed by them until support ultimately deems if it can come back.

Communication is huge to me. Unfortunately at this point in life social media has taken away from meaningful conversations and connections but to be able to have a voice in findSisterhood and to connect with other women on a variety of issues means a ton. As we come from different walks of life, with different or shared beliefs, it’s even more important than ever that we have the most basic sense of connection and sisterhood. Women are powerful in every way and as we support each other in a world full of sexism, male domination, and more (although I know people beg to differ), we change and impact lives making each day better for the future generations to come. findSisterhood is something special and I’m excited to see how it grows and expands over time and I’m looking forward to being apart of that in anyway that I can!

I like the intention of findSisterhood and I spread kindness to almost every post I came across but when I was ready to share things from my life in findSisterhood that I couldn’t talk to anyone about I did not feel love and support which made me feel worse than I already had before findSisterhood.

A little context: after having kids my friends moved on with their lives as normal and I was slowly distancing myself as my priorities and interests were taking a back seat and my circle was left with just family and very few friends.

My relationship with my husband has changed as well and I feel that there are things I can’t share with him without hurting his feelings and making matters worse. So I turned to findSisterhood and looked for outside perspectives and support and did not find this. I felt more alone than ever and some answers were just simply rude and inconsiderate. So I will be deleting findSisterhood as it did not give me a positive experience.

I downloaded findSisterhood because I kept seeing ads for it. I liked the idea of connecting with other women on a sisterhood level. When I first opened findSisterhood I was surprised to see that there is no way to validate that the person is actually a woman. As I scrolled through the main feed all I read was questions from women that ranged from sex to cheating to leaving relationships. I get the sense of security of anonymously asking questions that you need help with, but even the topic options are limiting. It was like reading very personal comments on public pages FB posts, but not a lot of productive conversation. As well, how are you “finding sisterhood” when there is no way to connect with people. I deleted findSisterhood after 20 minutes or so of scrolling because it seemed like drama over actual connection. Not what I was expecting.

A social network where woman can talk about their struggles, experiences and thoughts without feeling judged, guilty or ashamed. You can literally talk about anything and ask anything. I've had good experiences with findSisterhood but what I enjoy the most is replying to posts in a constructive manner. I'm not an expert but if my words can help someone... I'm here for it. The fact that you can post anonymously gives the the sense of freedom to let everything out.

I like the fact that the developer is always listening to it's users and rolling out updates to ensure the best positive experience.

The women in my life are the reason I am who I am, I’ve accomplished what I have, I’ve admitted to the struggles I face and surpassed those struggles. As a woman one of your greatest support systems is other women. this app expanded my pool of sisters from those in my immediate circle to a huge pool of women around the world. My best friend is abroad traveling now and she can’t always answer my texts or call, and thats when this app comes in as my support system! It’s the sister community that’s always there, always listening, always available. Love u sisters!

I don’t have much friends to vent my problems or stuff in general but with findSisterhood it has given me positive feedback on which ever topic I want to talk about. Knowing you won’t be judged, helping each other out on whatever you may be dealing with is amazing. Download it !

Because it was triggering to some people, they hid the mental health tab from the main page. They’ve effectively left these people without any support. Most posts get zero comments or likes. findSisterhood was amazing before they made all the changes and allowed things to be shared. They lost a lot of members. My complaint would be they don’t give out suicide hotline numbers on the mental health page or show a little message for anyone writing a suicidal note. I feel like it wouldn’t be that hard to include the hotline. I really wanted to like findSisterhood and I will continue to use it in the hopes it gets better. But it looks like it has already peaked.

In the world where women still face a lot of barriers they didn’t have to, having an app that is a safe place for you to deal with your day to day troubles with the help of other woman who can not only understand but also give you advice and support is a dream come true. You add to this amazing recipe the fact that everything is completely social media free and also totally anonymous and you have the perfect idea of a healthy and safe environment.

findSisterhood has done so much for my mental health and self confidence. Any time I am feeling down I can turn to findSisterhood for a little boost of kindness. It’s nice to know that women everywhere care and support each other, through good times and bad. I would definitely rank findSisterhood as 10 stars if I could. It never fails to put a smile on my face or give me advice - which I have implemented in my life for huge changes for the better 💕

Anyway, this is the best way to go about creating a support network for women. 100% anon. No names, no accounts, but people are open to share as much or little information as they want. Everyone has been so nice and supportive. People sharing their experiences, knowledge, ideas, and support is great. Thank you for findSisterhood!

Anything you could think of is able to be talked about or advised with advice of some sort. I love it. Seeing everyone’s thoughts and no one judging, just being helpful. I even follow findSisterhood on Instagram ! Trust me, I don’t have female friends much anymore but on findSisterhood I get the answers and replies to questions I WOULD ask my female friends if I had them. Truly thankful I found this.

I love findSisterhood a lot. But one thing that’s frustrating is that when I get notified of comments on a post that I’m following, there’s nothing to indicate exactly which post it is. Then I have to search through all of the posts I’m following and click on every single one. It kind of ruins the experience of communicating with other women. And sometimes it completely gets in the way because I can’t find or don’t want to find the post.

Could they please add a password OPTION to findSisterhood ? doesn’t have to be a requirement but I want one. Just bc if anyone’s ever on my phone i don’t want them to come across it and be able to read my posts. I don’t mean like I make an account just like a password to get into findSisterhood itself before you can see all that i’ve posted. thanks!

findSisterhood is absolutely amazing. There are several categories that one can post anonymously under to get feedback and love from other users. It is great to see that not only do other people have problems but that they have similar ones. You can post about anything from sex, to pride topics, to friendship, to just casual wonderings.
