Fax from iPhone Send & Receive Reviews

I needed to fax some records to my doctor to schedule surgery and I tried some of the free fax websites but I was limited in the number of pages that I could fax or I had to sign up for a 30-day free trial and give my credit card info (and I always forget to cancel before 30 days is up).

I decided to look in FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive Store to see if there was an app that I could use and all of them had “purchase in app” or cost to purchase FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive and I just wanted was something free and I found it - if you are reading this review, you’ve found it too! I sent a 7’page fax and I kept waiting for something to pop up telling me how much I had to pay but nothing ever did!!! FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive IS TOTALLY FREE - and very easy to use!

I decided to try this fax app for a number of reasons, but the deciding factor was because it’s described as free. There is also a written review by aa user about this being totally free to use. The user explains that to begin with, one is provided with 50 free credits. It further explains once one is out of credits, all one needs to do is message the developer and the developer automatically provides additional free credits. Below the user review, there is a reply from the developer confirming that FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive and credits are totally free.

Well,..... not so much! To begin with, I received 2 free credits ~ NOT 50.... And within FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive the only way in which I can receive any additional credits, is if I pay for them.
If something has changed since that reviewer’s comment & the developer’s reply, I think the developer should add an addendum to their reply. Especially since that review and reply from the developer is at the top and the first review seen.
Additionally, in the developer’s description of FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive it states credits can be purchased for .10c per credit. However, that is not the case either. Unless you decide to purchase 500 credits for $50 at .10c per credit, you’ll pay .15c to .50c per credit.
It may be relatively economical, I am just very disappointed that the information provided is deceiving

Feeling Misled.

Just used this for the first time. It works as described. Nicely designed. Slick and easy interface, and the documents appear to have been delivered. Awesome, for being free, right?...
However, should you have to leave the fax app for any purpose (answer a call, the phone turns itself off due to inactivity...), everything you’ve worked to complete (cover page, documents) disappears.
Given all the monkey business going on, I do not leave access to Photos open to any app for any longer than necessary. So, as soon as my pics of the documents were added, I went to settings to turn off FaxGun’s access to photos. The entire fax was cleared as a result, and had to start over. Luckily, the documents were still available, so I used the Camera feature in FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive instead.

I don’t have a fax and every time I need to fax something it’s a hassle. I bought the monthly plan which is very very reasonable. For those who complain it’s not free get real. It’s a service and great one at that. Go to FedEx store and one 3 page fax is like $4.00. It is a bit slow but not terribly slow 6 pages were sent in about 5 min. I don’t fax very often but just to have the option is great. 2.99 a month or whatever it is (around there) is stellar. Also you get confirmation with detailed information and copies of what you sent. I will be telling people about FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive.

I only Fax a few times a year, and our Fax machine broke. After taking too much time trying to find a Fax app in which I did not HAVE to pay a weekly, monthly yearly fee, I was elated to find I could actually buy credits on FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive! I wish that would be the first thing mentioned when looking for an app like this! But most typically make you take the pics, then upload, only to then find out the fees. I cannot tell you how many times I uploaded the documents, only to minimize and delete FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive . I’m not paying a huge fee when I only fax once in a blue moon!

Finally, I have been trying to find an honest app to send out my super important fax for a few days but they all say free and then have either hidden fees, charge you anyway or are too expensive.

FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive is, as I mentioned, honest and although it is not “free”, it is very well priced. It’s perfect for people like me who have occasional faxes to send, or for a business to send out faxes all day long. I emailed the devs and within hours they emailed me right back, super duper nice and polite. You don’t see that anymore.

FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive itself is very very simple to navigate and is very self explanatory. And even within its simplicity it offers tutorials for those who may need that extra hand.

Anyways, before I end up writing a book, I really want to say that if you’re looking to fax and need it done fast and cheap, give these guys a chance! You won’t be disappointed 😊

I was looking for a faxing by iPhone app and I read through about 4-5 before I came across this one. The other apps want you to pay a yearly subscription for like $99, with FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive I paid for a week of unlimited faxing for $3. I got to send out my paperwork and I was done. It will show you the progress of your fax. I am super happy with FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive. I would recommend it to everyone, it’s super easy and it delivers!!

I was searching for a place to send a fax here in Mexico, but every single place I went to said they don’t use one anymore. When looking for ways to send one on Google, I came across FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive and am super happy because I was able to send my document and it only costed 4 dollars. I also have credits on my account, which means I can send more if I need to. Great app and def. recommend it.

I was looking around at the different Efax apps and I chose this one. It worked . I sent over 11 faxes and it was delivered successfully. They will email you and notify you on and from FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive to let you know it was delivered and what time. I then got a confirmation phone call from the receiver saying that they got my fax! No more of trying to run to a staples or fax service place.

App Store description misleading, no free “credits” for trial, only one credit (one page) provided on download. Their own description states “You can try FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive with some free credits to try FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive for free”. That’s credits plural. Their top listed review (misleading) implies 50 credits/pages for trial. Apparently 50 credits is old policy. FaxGun needs to comply with Apple transparency policy and update their description. Obviously it’s their choice if only going to provide one page trial but if so, then so list that. Customers will then download (or not) accordingly based on accurate information.

I have used FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive to send fax to my pharmacy.
And it did. It was easy to use. You have 3 days free trial and after three days pay the amount monthly.
If you have no fax machine and or busy to go to some place where they offer sending fax, FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive is so much better at the comfort of your home by just using your phone.

FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive is very easy to use. They start you off with 50 free credits/pages. The price for additional pages is very reasonable. Moreover when I got low on my credits they were having a sale on additional credits which made the price 5 cents/page. I don’t know how often they have these sales—perhaps all the time when you use it and are low.

So FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive itself is free, however you have to buy credits to fax papers. I paid 2.99 for unlimited faxing for a week, which it would have been about the same UPS would have charged me for my documents. So if I need to send anything else this week I’m already winning, plus I do it from the comfort of my home.

I’m not much of a app review writer but when you find something that actually does exactly what you expect it to do with no hassles or confusion it deserves to be acknowledged. FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive has truly worked for me. You get free credits initially and I was faxing court documents so I was a little nervous but was nowhere near fax machine and had to get these documents out. It was smooth clean and fast and I’m truly impressed. Kudos !!

I needed to send over some papers to my insurance company. I was impressed with the HIPA compliance as I work in HR. I liked the easiness/convenience of using FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive from home and pay as you go. I haven’t heard back from them yet, so I hopefully can assume they received since I got my confirmation.

Only 3 negative comments:
1. Cover page should be free and allow for more verbiage.
2. It would be nice to receive more than 2 credits, like any product, you like to try it out before you buy anything. While I understand that it costs to send and I didn’t have to search for a faxing office or wait until I returned to work.
3. It doesn’t fax in color (or I didn’t find an option to fax in color). It added in color, but when I had to edit a document, it showed B&W.

If it were not for those 4 concerns, I would have rated a 5.

Rarely need to fax but a merchant required copy of a document for a $100 credit and listed only a fax number in Southern California. The Cover Sheet, document and Request Form all sent quickly and I received confirmation of transmission from FaxGun. Appreciate an easy to use service and the free page credits provided.

I just tried FaxGun for the first time and from the moment I opened Ed FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive I loved it! Each step was self explanatory, making it simple to get a fax out, whether you’ve sent a fax out before, or not! Once complete, FaxGun notifies you via your Cel phone notifications. I’ll always fax with confidence, now, knowing I have my trustee FaxGun!

I had to pay 2.99 to send a fax. At first I was frustrated but I had been waiting for content from unemployment for 8 weeks.
24 hours after faxing through FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive, I was finally called back and was able to receive all the money owed to me. Thanks!

I needed to send a fax and loved that I could only buy for a week, I do not need it often because most places prefer email now but if you do need to fax something quick- FaxfromiPhoneSendReceive did it so easily, juts take a pic and they faxed it for me and sent me an email saying it was delivered.

Very easy to set up and use. I followed the directions for canceling my subscription and will be checking to make sure it happens. I liked the fact that there were multiple options for buying credits.
