FAKE! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!

This app is utterly pointless. I thought I’d be able to put in ingredients I HAD, not choose Ingredients from a pretentious list. Some of the options are foods I’ve never even heard of! Hericot vert..? Really. What the crap is a hericot vert?! I wanted help with dinner, not a witches brew. And who just has Adzuki beans (???), bee pollen, nettles, pomegranate molasses and a freaking sunflower hanging out in the pantry?? A sunflower. You really expect me to make dinner with a sunflower. There aren’t any meat options or any normal options for that matter. Then after you’ve sifted through the imaginary ingredients list, the recipe options just tell you how many items you’re missing to make that recipe! I’m sorry but if I’m MISSING 28 INGREDIENTS, I’m just going to get out a box of kraft Mac and cheese. I’m not making a Christmas dinner. I wanted a recipe idea for a Wednesday night. Besides, the grocery store was all out of HERICOT VERT Oh, like others have mentioned, the 5 star reviews on here are fake as sh*t. They aren’t even talking about this crap app, they mention weight loss and logging foods they’ve eaten to track calories... so if you’re going to post fake reviews at least make sure it’s for YOUR app ya dingus. Please for the love of HERICOT VERT, don’t spend 25$ on this crap.

Scam!

UPDATE: THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. After spending time doing research on the app and its developers, I have filed a fraud report to the FTC. I have looked at other reviews and see that the 5 star reviews are fake, and the real reviews fell victim to this scam as well. The developers website has no contact information, and all links listed to contact them are broken. This app is misleading and scammed me into buying the yearly subscription instead of the free trial. When you open the app, you can’t use it unless you sign up for the free trial or purchase a subscription. When I selected free trial, I was automatically charged for a full year. No options were given and it didn’t state how long the trial was for. I will be calling my bank and filing a dispute since there is NO way to contact the developers.

Not As Advertised, and a Scam

1) Have to sign up for/authorize payment for a ‘free trial/then yearly billing’ ($30) to even open the app. 2) Surprise! No free trial, you’re immediately charged the $30 and now have the app for a year whether or not you like it/would’ve decided to actually subscribe. 3) Once you’re in the app (and are now an “Upgraded” user)....you still get full screen ads periodically. Like whenever you want to favorite a random, low-carb recipe....because once you add all your “Fridge Foods” it doesn’t allow you to select any filters beyond having/not having items....you just get random stuff. That’s ok though. Next time you open the app: all your “Fridge Food” you’ve added is gone anyways. 4) If you want any sort of specific diet type meals (ie: keto/low-carb): there’s a whole separate selection window on the left....that spits out random “XYZ” recipes...which take zero account of any of your “Fridge Foods”. (At all....nevermind the fact that it’s already dumped that info 10 times today) 5) Forget about any nutritional info. Just guess! That works, right? 6) Neat idea....HORRIBLE execution, and bait/switch billing.
