Subscription Problems, Developer non response

I tried HearingAid and even signed up for annual subscription. Then HearingAid kept messaging me while using it that I’d need to get subscription to use the various functions of HearingAid . I was subscribing according to the Apple store. After going back and forth I finally unsubscribed with Apple since I couldn’t use the apps functions. Getting no responce from the seller was a definite negative! I’ll give HearingAid 3 stars as it seemed to work for awhile. I was still learning the features when the suscrption issues arose.

Great app!

I have a severe hearing loss, HearingAid is a great affordable solution fo me. I use iphone and connect either headphones or bluetooth airbuds. When the call comes in the phone switches from HearingAid to the call. I love HearingAid . I also wrote the developer with my suggestion to modify HearingAid to turn off the phone mike when using bluetooth airbuds mike. I hope the next version will implement that feature. Very happy with HearingAid otherwise.

I am happy with this app.

HearingAid works for me. For example, it is great for watching TV or at the cinema. It also is useful while riding in the car if I am not able to see my companion’s face while driving or riding.
There is a delay in audio if in close proximity to a companion in conversational speech, so it is not good in this case; however it is good for environmental advantages as mentioned above.
I am happy that I purchased it and have recommended it to my hearing impaired friends.

I have used several different apps like Hearing Aid app but not near as effective it fits all my daily needs it breaks down those social barriers were not being able to hear people would stop me from going I left the hearing aid app can’t say that I’ve ever run across one that would even come Pete with the quality of the Hearing Aid app! It was working great for me better then not hearing at all since I’m server profound deaf.

I have been using HearingAid for a few months & works great! I had an issue today when I renewed my subscription it worked then all of the sudden it stopped and said subscription expired even tho I paid for 3 months of use but I think I resolved it.. We shall see if it stays great! 🙏🏼

Demands fee and fails to recognize payment after 1 use.

It does not tell you there is a fee on initial screen in App Store. When you download and start HearingAid the first sceeen announces that there is a fee. I paid the fee and opened HearingAid . It worked and I closed HearingAid . When I reopened it later the same day, and on every subsequent reopening, HearingAid went back to the payment screen. Attempts to get it to recognize the payment have failed with the message that the fee payment period has expired even though the subscription shows as active for the payment period on my App Store account.

Hearing aid

I had purchased a hearing aid as my hearing is degraded so much over the years. They were not as useful as expected.
Then I came across HearingAid, downloaded and started using it. I must say I was greatly impressed with it. It took me a couple of days of experimenting and finally found my hearing aid. I use it with Bose Bluetooth over the ear headphones. I also use earbuds but find a delay when using them.

Too Bad

I downloaded HearingAid and tried the 7 day trial. I love the feature and usability that HearingAid offers. However, I was charged $4.99 twice within 3 days and unable to use the subscription features. I deleted HearingAid and downloaded again, this time paying for an annual subscription and every time I come back to HearingAid it says I am not a paid subscription user. Getting irritated. Would absolutely give 10 star rating if it would function correctly.

Will not work!

I used HearingAid for a year and was very happy with it. Then I renewed it for another year. My subscription is not over till May 24, 2021 but it will not work and tells me my subscription is expired. I even bought another month thinking that would work but it still will not come on. Wasted money. When it worked it was great. But no longer working. Why will this not restore my purchase? I paid for a whole year and it never worked.

Scenario Settings

Everyone has different hearing conditions , under each scenario, user may want to modify the scenario’s settings for better fit his own hearing, I suggest allowing user to save the modification for each scenario so that it can later be reused in that particular scenario.

Shows as expired still

shows that it is expired even though it was first charged 2 days ago and fixed on Saturday.

Would be very happy with it if we can get it to work, what I saw so far it seems like it is just what I need. Developers need to have a more direct way to talk to them so minor problems could be fixed and not turn into Major problems where customer finally just gives up and deletes HearingAid .

Doesn’t work with Bluetooth hearing aids

I have hearing aids that Bluetooth to my iPhone. HearingAid just adds a time delay in getting the sound to my ear, so I just hear a lot of echo. Also, the 7-day free trial is really only 6 days (they start with the purchase date as day 1), so If you want to cancel, pay attention to the deadline. I have canceled the subscription (although now I have another month), and have also deleted HearingAid from my phone.

Great for at least temporary use

I had great hearing aids, but had to return them. The new ones are due in one week.

HearingAid does a better job than any other I’ve tried. Use the supplied equalizer to match your hearing exam results.

The sound is delayed by 2 seconds

I loaded HearingAid onto my iPhone 11 to see if it would work for my dad. Does not work. Poor sound quality and a 2 second delay which makes it impossible to talk with someone. Used the trial for 3 minutes to find out HearingAid is junk, then charged a $35 annual reoccurring fee. Don’t download HearingAid if you don’t want to spend your time disputing the charge on HearingAid Store

Only got 2 days instead of 7

I really like HearingAid and was starting to understand how HearingAid really works and then it says I’ve already went through my 7 days free trail. This is one of the top hearing is apps there Is and would change my review if I change get my full weeks worth.. thanks

Keeps saying subscription is expored

HearingAid when it works is great. I use it with water proof headphones around my pool where I can't wear my hearing aids. But now it keeps saying the subscription is expired even though I have 3 months left. I reinstalled it several times. Then it works for a little while and quits again. VERY FRUSTRATING.

It does not work

I use it for a year and it works great, but now it keep saying my subscription is expired even when I just payed. I already download the last version and still not working, also I keep trying to contact HearingAid without success. I’ll appreciate the help to solve this issue.

BUYER BEWARE!!!

HearingAid seemed to work well at first! Now it indicates my subscription has expired although I have a receipt for an annual subscription due to renew in June of 2021!!! It sends me to the page to purchase a subscription but if I try to purchase another subscription it sends me to the page saying my subscription renews in June 2021. No way that I can find to contact the developer!!!!!!! COMPLETELY WORTHLESS!!!

Subscription issues

I had HearingAid for a while and it was working fine. Switched from monthly subscription to annual, and now HearingAid keeps telling me my subscription is expired, even though I’ve paid and it doesn’t expire until 2021. Wrote the developer and got no response. Would not recommend this to anyone.

Horrible Do not buy! After you sign up it will not allow you to use app

Horrible after the free trial I signed up for monthly. $4.99 subscription. As soon as I payed it signed me out and will not let me use HearingAid . I push restore app and it says fail it will not let me. I tried turning my phone off. Deleting app and reinstalling. Everything! Horrible!

Not for amplifying TV

Doesn’t work with corded headphones and IPhone 7. Buch of squealing high pitch sounds and cannot hear dialogue on TV.
Can’t find how to terminate my 7 day trial either. So what, have to wait until i am billed before i can cancel? Email to customer service ( came back undeliverable)and contact “us” here on customer support doesn’t respond.

Crashes in iOS 12.1

As soon as it opens, it closes.

The contact information to request support is inside HearingAid , so when it crashes you can’t ask for help.

Before it started crashing I tried it out and it worked OK.

Not able to cancel

I cannot see where I can cancel. It says you can cancel in Settings when you download HearingAid but there is no way to cancel once inside HearingAid settings. Please explain how to cancel here in the Review section. Thank you!

Not for video, & a no-opt-out trial subscription

There is a lag that’s completely unacceptable for video. Conversations could be okay.

Instead of a civilized opt in trial you can’t try until you subscribe and have to cancel on subscriptions. Screw that.

Not Free

If I have to make a “purchase” then it’s not “free”. If it’s not a “purchase” then why does it say “Purchased Failed” when I decline the terms of your “free trial”? Putting me to task to remember to cancel just to see if your app is what I need is lame. Delete.

Can Damage Your Ears

I was trying these out for my Mom. Turned the amplifier knob and these emitted a squeal through my earbuds that everyone in the room heard. My ears have been ringing for hours. Beware and be careful. I think I damaged my ears.
