On 4 October 2016, the Museum closed its doors for major renovation works.
It offers plenty of opportunities to discover the works in the places that inspired them, along with the story of Paris and the Parisians behind them.
The Musée Carnavalet is the biggest history museum in the City of Paris.
It is scheduled to re-open in early 2020.
