Tells me to sign up for free trial, I did, tried to continue to use the smart hide feature and now says that I already have e subscription but doesn’t allow me to continue. Frustrating to say the least.

No photos can’t be added to my more private albums and that smart filter for combing through photos and find the more contentious photos no longer seems to work either.

I have been using Orga for quite a while. I had several hundred encrypted photo vaults, and something happened recently. Every time I opened FindTextInPic , or a photo vault, FindTextInPic shutdown automatically. According to support, I needed to delete FindTextInPic , and start over. That’s a non starter for me. Use FindTextInPic at your own risk, and there is no way to recover encrypted files. Buyer BEWARE.

It would be helpful if you could move an image to a particular album within FindTextInPic .

You can create albums, but not move pics. This would be the ultimate photo organization tool if they add that!

This is a fantastic app for saving photos into its database but I would really like to see the ability to add videos too. Thanks to the dev for keeping it free and private on device, keep up the good work!

I REALLY wish it showed the date the photo is from so I can find it in the Photos app.

The text recognition (OCR) and searching is pretty good.
The nudity detection has a bunch of false flags since I have no such photos and the ones it claims it has found do not contain any nudity.

Scanning is very fast except when it has to wait to download from iCloud.
* I would like an option to enable scanning (“Indexing”) photos while FindTextInPic is open in the background.

For some reason sometimes it doesn’t scan any photos unless I plug in a charger.

So, I’ll be upfront- my use of FindTextInPic is two fold.

1) I take photos of receipts or bills or contact info because I have a terrible memory- FindTextInPic filters them and finds anything down to the letter or general category.

2)I’m a bit of an exhibitionist/voyeur and I enjoy sharing photos of myself/others with my fiancé.

While I do my best to move all the photos to the spot I want them permanently (either the IPhone hidden folder or a different app), it’s very very easy to overlook a few photos or take one and not remember.

FindTextInPic is extremely easy to use and makes me feel extremely at ease running the search- I have tried running the search online and offline (iPhone in airplane mode) after adding a few pictures just to test and it caught them as expected even when offline.

Would it be possible for FindTextInPic to also scan for blurred photos as well a duplicate photos to help users free up phone storage?

FindTextInPic works exactly like the description says. Even the sensitivity slider, it really changes what it does and doesn’t pick up. So easy to use. 🖤

It’s so much easier to keep all of my private pictures to myself in a secure folder. It’s also a lot more convenient when the time comes to send them out.

This is a great photo search app, type in the subject (dog, cityscape or any other subject) after running the scan and it will find it!

So being able to search them so easily and accurately is awesome. App scans the images absurdly fast. But rough identifying objects, but it errors on the side of false positives which is save. Excellent for text. I’m impressed.

I’ve used other apps for photo protection and storing but FindTextInPic looks way better and is easier to use than the other photo apps. Also, A+ for not having ads blow up FindTextInPic!

Really like the OCR function among everything else FindTextInPic has. Subscribed to the monthly fee just to support.

Q: Is it possible to hide photos from the camera roll feed within Orga if the photos have been put into folders ? Would love that options !

I like it. I gave it a test run and it works, no password problems either. It’s a shame this wasn’t around a year ago for Jennifer Lawrence or those other actors and actresses. Still, I don’t need to hide or move around photos when I hand it to someone to view.

Tagging works pretty well. I have a lot of photos and it didn’t take long to classify them all. Would love to be able to see all the tags attached to each photo.

The character recognition is great! The only thing it’s missing is the information about the photos it finds (i.e. the date taken). I use it to find old pictures in my camera roll but unfortunately it doesn’t show the date they were taken so I can’t locate the original. I usually just end up taking a screenshot of the photo in Orga and cropping it, which obviously isn’t ideal and leaves me with duplicate photos.
