I originally downloaded Singbotlearntosing thinking it would be great at helping me improve my singing, but I was of course wrong. I never really write reviews unless it’s positive but I just cannot let this go. As a female I have an interesting range for my age, I’m pretty young and below 16yrs old. Forcefully, I can sing REALLY LOW and REALLY HIGH, but Naturally, I can sing around as low as “Fly Me to The Moon” and as high as..well...let’s say....a tiny bit below the average woman. When I first opened Singbotlearntosing I didn’t know what to choose, instead of just “Low” and “High” there should also be a “Medium”. I chose “Low” as I though it would be closer to my range. But nope. I tried “mmm”-ing the notes but could only get near the top ( higher note ) and the more I tried to lower my voice the harder it gets and honestly hurt my throat more then anything. but I mean, I was on “Low” so I should just be able to change it to “High” and then it would be all good....right?...nOPE, same problem, like nothing changed. I feel like Singbotlearntosing could have way more potential but there need to be major changes. I really hope I can change my rating soon enough. It would be great if I got a response as I haven’t seen any reviews with responses. Thanks for reading this! (And killing my throat [Im fine it’s just sore] )

I have been singing (lessons, choirs, soloist) for years and have high hopes for Singbotlearntosing. I wanted something to practice with during my busy schedule but sadly Singbotlearntosing just fell short. The pitches were weirdly places and the tempo/timing of the notes made runs/scales almost impossible. I would barely be able to get out one pitch then it would immediately switch to another and mark me wrong for being a split second behind and when I would switch quickly it would mark me wrong for not carrying the first note long enough. I am a soprano and therefore I feel more comfortable and tend to sing in a higher register but unfortunately Singbotlearntosing is unable to register and change according to octaves.
As a singer/musician who reads music I would love to be able to have an option to have the exercises played out on a staff line instead of just floating in empty space.

Singbotlearntosing is the pushiest I’ve ever encountered for subscriptions. Launching it popped up the system subscription box instantly without any action on my part. It then took me to a subscription information screen which made it look like you couldn’t do anything without subscribing. Pressing the X took me to a very limited selection of things to do, bouncing repeatedly back to the same subscription page.
And those things were bad. The pitch recognition is awful.
No thank you.

Singbotlearntosing expects you know how to hit notes and if you don’t know how to hit them it instantly fails you. The song choices are horrible I don’t know any of them. i’ve been trying to learn how to sing but Singbotlearntosing is just tearing me down and it’s not working out in fact it’s making me worse than how i am. that is very frustrating and it’s not helpful at all I am now deleting it when it goes better I may re-download it but I don’t think it’s gonna happen don’t download Singbotlearntosing if you don’t know how to hit notes

I am bad at singing and wanted it to be a free, or at least somewhat of it free, and a lot of the reviews said “don’t get it” and I didn’t listen to those because I thought it were a good app and they were just hating bc it had more 5 star and after getting Singbotlearntosing I really have no idea why it has more 5 star reviews then 1 star because when I opened Singbotlearntosing , it ask me to pick some things like things for singing, after doing that It brought me to this screen: pay 12$ or 80$ for a subscription” at this point y’all are just money hungry like at that point just make it where you have to pay before you even get Singbotlearntosing itself🙄 I just don’t recommend it unless you wanna pay about 12 or 80$usually I would not complain about stuff like that, sometimes I would, for the devs of “vacation hotel” or something like that, they make half of it cost money but at this point just make it where you have to pay for it before you get Singbotlearntosing 🙄. If you read it all the way here, thank you for reading it, kids don’t waste time on getting Singbotlearntosing PLEASE unless you wanna waste your parents 12$ or 80$ thank you for the time you have taken to read this to the devs: fix it 🤦🏾♀️🙄

As a teacher of singing, Singbotlearntosing is quite offensive. Not only does it completely sap any kind of musicality from singing, its verbiage and pedagogy is problematic and sometimes just incorrect. I was curious and downloaded this and knew right away what it was worth. If you want to learn how to sing but can’t afford voice lessons - listen to good singers, join a community choir or other kind of ensemble, and most importantly, just sing! Don’t worry about sounding perfect - first find the joy in singing, then we can worry about the technical things later.

I am not able to find the monthly subscription cost advertised in Singbotlearntosing Store. Singbotlearntosing just keeps asking me to pay the yearly subscription cost of $80 every time I try to open something past the third level. I tried to email the support email given in the settings of Singbotlearntosing , but wasn’t able to send an email to it. I would like any help or any suggestions as to what I should do? Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I’m not a good singer by any stretch of the imagination, but the way they grade notes seems skewed too extremely by VOLUME vs PITCH.
I was able to quite regularly hit the intro notes and keep the note accurate, however EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. peaks at the top before...like I’m apparently hitting a falsetto when I first make a sound.
If you struggle with a “run” even up front, it will just fail you over and over and over without any advice on how to fix it. You just literally have to try until it’s happy. I spent 25 minutes trying to hit 3 notes...but they were after 6 others meaning I couldn’t lose ANY lives, and the tracking almost requires you to “miss” notes as close as they are together.
Tried with Powerbeats Pro headphones, awful awful. Tried with default lighting EarPods and were moderately better but the slightest tap to yeh cable picked up as a “high” note.
It’s also really difficult to do the suggested singing posture when you also need to look at a phone screen.

I’m a 14 yr old female and I’m trying to get better at sing so I can join drama club, because I’m not that great at singing. The thing is , is my voice is pretty low for a female, and my voice is basically a low women’s voice to a teenage boys voice, and I tried sing for both the women’s lessons and the men’s, and I can’t sing either. My voice is either to low or too high for them. I really hope they can get this fixed so there’s an in between option. Also, I feel like the beat is off half of the time. So I don’t really know how to feel about this, except that it’s needs some serious work done.

The idea, layout, and lesson plan of Singbotlearntosing is fantastic; was previously using Vanido which falls dramatically short when it comes to breath support (also seems to be down atm). Unfortunately, the technical implementation makes this unusable. If you are off by a split second at any point, you have to restart the exercise, and it gives you NO ROOM AT ALL between notes. REALLY infuriating, there should at least be an option to change this in settings. Another singing app bites the dust.

I can appreciate an app that is trying to teach scales/solfege to people that want to learn quickly, but this is just wack-a-mole for singing. And the timing was off. Singbotlearntosing registers your note a bit too late - I had my best luck singing the notes (yes, every note) roughly 1/2 a beat early, and only then would Singbotlearntosing read it at the right time. The pitch recognizer also shoots up and down sometimes when it hears consonants. Not ideal, but if they can get the timing of their input down, I’d see more value in it.

Hello, I have been enjoying Singbotlearntosing but the past a couple of days, I haven’t been able to view lessons or songbook!
Thank you :-)

Great fun to learn app. Not just drudgery of a repetitive typical “learn to song” lesson. I am 34, never has vocal lessons and just completed essentials 2 after 8 months and am now in love with my microphone. There is wonderful support for any questions and they keep adding songs and features as requested from us, the users. Thank you. Kevin

I’m really impressed with the whole app. The real test here is how I well I think I’m learning, and I have to say that using Singbotlearntosing for 15-30 mins a day for a week has got me more comfortable with the bass than I expected to be in a month. Great variety of songs-along pieces and I’ll certainly be subscribing after the free trial.

I’m a 2nd Semester under-grad, focusing in Music, and I gotta say: Singbotlearntosing is an aspiring dream come true. Definitely worth it. As an amateur, some of the beginning exercises seem a bit elementary, but I still learned tons of neat tricks that work better than ones I taught myself or learned from others, so it’s worth it to sit through all the videos.

Singbot works for children from something like age six (once they get bored with other education apps:) It is fantasatic to have an app that is available whenever we feel like playing, adapts to your speed, gives immediate feedback and has a ton of songs to choose from. New songs are being added and the experience refined on a regular basis.

I’ve been wanting to sing for years, and I finally feel I’m getting somewhere. Having an app which helps you work out how accurately you are singing, allows you to work up to speed and forces you to play each piece through to the end has got me to a point where I am so much more fluid in my chord changes and can see my singing developing and improving. No, the music isn’t always to my taste (or my husbands :0) ), but I can see how each one strengthens the skills I’m supposed to be learning. Seeing my singing time each week encourages me to keep practising and I am loving it! I’ve recommended it to anyone who’ll listen - thank you!

I wanted to learn how to sing and didn’t know where to start. I read great reviews about Singbotlearntosing so I downloaded it and have been doing ten minute lessons almost every day for the past year. It is a great resource, especially when you are starting from level 1. I highly recommend!

it’s pretty sad seeing people complain about the price. it’s literally $9 month... you have a whole month to come up with just $9 for an app which will help you GREATLY in your vocal skills. Hiring a knowledgeable good teacher will cost you MUCH MORE.... $19 a month for full access to lessons, sheet music, practice, and much more.
