This morning my area was hit with an EF4 tornado with winds over 170mph, that happened to be 1 of 4 Tornadoes that were on the ground in my location. The siren went off on my phone before the sirens outside. This gave me time to grab my emergency bag, lights, and my dog, and get into my small bathroom. I confirmed the tornadoes with my local weather station (called them). Thankfully I am okay. Over 30 people lost their lives this morning due to the tornadoes here. Prayers for their family! Thank you God for TornadoFree!!!!

Hi I know TornadoFree maybe amazing but about after a couple different times like so like when I had my phone and I was on the charger after died basically when I like got it charged again then all the sudden when I tried doing the test tornado alarm thing then the tornado siren for some reason did not go off please fix this bug thank you

I like how it alerts you, def something that would get your attention and possibly safe you and your families life, also the countdown is useful because it gives you a general idea how much time you have to prepare

So one day I was sitting watching tv and then my sister got a notification of a tornado I was like”What the” but I never had that app at that time. so then a nother Tornado came wayyyy later but I don’t know if I had TornadoFree but when I set it up I was shocked it was sooooooo cool

It don’t show a map which way the tornado is coming or going . Is there a map for that. It works the alarm but don’t have a map which way is coming or going

You should have TornadoFree because you may not have anywhere to go that’s why you should have TornadoFree

Love that it maps out where to go to a safe location.

TornadoFree knew when a tornado was directly overhead and told us where to go to be safe!

Highly, highly recommend, especially if you live in high Tornado risk areas.

Yesterday, an ef5 tornado hit my town. The good thing, the this app app went off before my town’s sirens! I 100% recommend you get it!

I met one of the developers so I downloaded it. I’ve had two different tornados within 3 to 4 miles of my house and it NEVER goes off. I was told you have to be in the path of it. Which, if you live in tornado county like I do that’s not much time to get into a shelter and or drive away from it like TornadoFree says to.

This is an amazing app and it’s FREE! If there is a tornado heading your direction, TornadoFree will send you an alert with a route so you can jump in your car and drive out of the path of the tornado.

I downloaded TornadoFree in advance of severe weather and potential tornadoes. A tornado came straight through our property but I received no alerts from TornadoFree . Luckily we were using other tools to stay aware of the situation and were able to seek shelter. I do not recommend TornadoFree.

I downloaded TornadoFree when storms were in the area. A coworker mentioned it and as we stood next to each other. The time was 9 minutes different from arriving. Nine minutes can make a huge difference.
Then it states the Tornado arrived and it was 20 miles away.

I love the tornado alert warning on TornadoFree!In my opinion if you don’t hear it, you must already be dead.

I’ve kept TornadoFree up to date with all sounds & notifications on for over a year. And when a tornado struck 5 minutes from where I was- it did NOT work at all. Local news & sirens did a better job of getting me to safety

TornadoFree is amazing and it worked very well with my Bluetooth headphone on snd well as Bluetooth speakers

Great app and you can add your friends and family locations!!! Most apps don’t offer that.

TornadoFree is a wonderful potentially life saving tool and the amazing thing is it’s free. Kudos to the developer and to sharing this tool with the world!

Good for night when asleep to wake you up

Needs to not require BAR to be on as that’s invasive and takes up battery power on device which is critical during storms/power outage. Emailed developer as wouldn’t work & discovered BAR must be on indefinitely!! Haven’t heard back & didn’t know it wasn’t free or how much I was charged! BAR isn’t a necessity for gps or tornado app so please don’t require that so I’ll keep app. Thx! Looking forward for the return email reply as well.

My friends and family have all downloaded tornado free! It’s very essential to have on my phone. Thanks!

We’ve been under several tornado warnings with one actually on the ground about 10 miles to our north.

Test warnings consistently map me to “safety” to the northeast-the direction 99% of the tornadoes track. Irresponsible and will get somebody killed. Hope they carry LOTS of liability insurance because they’re going to need it.
