Having an app to make appointments is a good idea but this is a very weak implementation. Interface is not intuitive. For many of the listed stylists, there are no appointments available — so why give the user the option to select them? The workflow should start with the user giving a date of service and the software should be smart enough to offer only those stylists with availability on that date. Even when I select “anybody” for stylist there are hardly any appointments available same day yet every time I simply call to make an appointment they have availability or when I walk in they always take me within 15-30 minutes. Maybe they are holding back a lot of the appointment inventory for walk ins and call ins? But then why have an app for appointments? This needs revision to be useful but is a good idea if they can get it right.

Love that you have an app! Hate calling, it’s always so difficult to hear anyone over the background music.

Floyds99Barbershop needs serious work. The schedules and availability are so difficult to navigate. The animated transitions between pages are artificially slow, which makes it feel so clunky. Couldn’t figure out why my barber was not on the schedule, Floyds99Barbershop defaults to some weird location that’s not near me. Had a hard time changing the location.

Finally your email confirmation is weird. On “services” it says I ordered two cuts? “2 - Haircuts - Floyd’s Cut with ....” I ordered one cut?

I love the concept of Floyds99Barbershop. Instead of having to call in you can just quickly tap into Floyds99Barbershop and schedule an appointment, with some work it’ll be great.

But for now it needs some work. The interface isn’t hard to understand, but it isn’t intuitive by any means. Also I’ve checked Floyds99Barbershop and then called in twice now, and when you call in there are more appointment times available. Not sure if there is a miscommunication or if they do this to keep spots open for call ins as well. For now I’ll keep calling, but excited to see improvements to this new system.

Don’t waste your time with Floyds99Barbershop. You’ll spend less time and have less frustration if you call the store directly to book your appointment. Two weeks out I booked an appointment using Floyds99Barbershop . The day before my appointment Floyd’s called me and said that there was a mistake and the barber I wanted to see doesn’t work on the day that Floyds99Barbershop allowed me to make my appointment. It’ll be another two weeks before I have an opportunity do you commit to another appointment. This means waiting a month to see the barber I’ve been going to for nearly six years—one I hope leaves his employment with Floyd’s so I don’t have to deal with thief undependable and overly restrictive appointment policies.

Garbage app. Can’t log in with facebook. Might be able to create an account, give it a try. It took me a few tries. App just doesn’t work? The action buttons just don’t go anywhere, crashes constantly. If you manage to succeed in booking an appointment, you can’t enter another family member. You can enter all their info, but then the button to submit does nothing. I think I made an appointment? Not sure because there doesn’t seem to be a way to check. Just...listen, seriously. Just call the salon and make an appointment unless you just love wasting your own time and creating needless frustration.

Tried making an appointment through Floyds99Barbershop because no one would pick up the phone, and it seemed to book successfully.... except it’s not showing up in the my reservations tab? Do I need to book another one?

Was unable to find any nearby locations in Floyds99Barbershop even though I know there are several within a few miles. Checked that location sharing was on, tried entering zip codes and town names of locations that I know exist and it gives me listings that are 180 miles away. Does not instill confidence especially since online reviews ding them for very long wait times and I was hoping Floyds99Barbershop would solve that. Please don’t waste potential customers time with apps that are so obviously broken. I very rarely write reviews but I wanted to save others the lost time.

Using their choose a location thing, I can literally zoom in and see the Floyd’s that I got a haircut at the very same day (my first time at a Floyd’s) Yet every location seems to be out of California, which is over 200 miles away from Denver, yes.

I was hoping this would be as easy to use as the Great Clips app for making appointments but I can’t get past the choose your location part to find out. Dunno why the locations aren’t being pulled down from an online source? Only thing I am not allowing is background refreshes for Floyds99Barbershop .

The GPS doesn’t work at all. It puts me at locations in California instead of where I am... Dallas. If you are lucky enough to land on your location, it’s far too many taps to get appointments done and I’m a parent with 2 boys... we haircut together so let me book an appointment for all of us and simply designate the different names all at one time. As a technology guy, I know this isn’t difficult. It’s all about experience these days and Floyds99Barbershop experience is just broken. Please fix it, Floyd’s people. You’re too good for this.

Seemed to be slow at first but after a minute of so Floyds99Barbershop worked perfectly and I booked an appointment with two minutes. Can you add an option where after you create an appointment you can add it straight to the calendar.

Seems to me that this is a common complaint with some users noting this over a year ago. Still has not been fixed. That’s inexcusable.

And please don’t tell me the online booking isn’t available in my area. I live in Southern California, the center of the modern civilized world. There are 5 locations within 10 miles and 5 more locations within 60 miles, they all show up on the map in Floyds99Barbershop , yet NONE show up as locations in my area from which I can choose on that very same app.

There’s no way all don’t allow online booking. And if that’s true that they don’t have it here, then there’s no point to having online booking. It’s Southern fricken California.

Why bother putting out an app that’s so obviously disfunctional?

The actual barber shops are great but if you have an app, you better do your homework or hire a web app developer for 2 days to fix your app. Please fix Floyds99Barbershop so maps can load current locations. Also please update/add all locations - another easy fix. Released an app that doesn’t work brings you bad reviews - you may drive mobile app users away with your app - thinking you haven’t got your act in the stores either.

Not sure what the point of Floyds99Barbershop is. My normal shop doesn’t come up (which is fine, I realize not all are available on Floyds99Barbershop ), but then it also tries to tell me Glendale is over 200 miles away (it’s about 10). I honestly have no clue how Floyds99Barbershop is usable to anyone. Why would you release such a broken product? At this point it might be better to just remove Floyds99Barbershop and start from scratch.

While I like that I can make my appointment via Floyds99Barbershop , I wish that the calendar notices I receive from Floyd’s were accurate. For example, I just made an appointment for 7:30 pm on Friday, November 16, 2018, but the calendar notice I received via email a few minutes later was for my appointment at 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 4, 2018.

I downloaded Floyds99Barbershop to make a reservation online, however when you try to do this the map never filters through all the locations. I called corporate and they responded with “not all locations have online booking capability, that’s why the map in Floyds99Barbershop will not find your specific location”. I would not have released an app that is not complete.
